Jockey Luke Cartwright seals running treble at Sandown
Cartwright showcased his riding talents in the whirlwind 90-minute window at Sandown Hillside.
He opened the account with a patient ride on Suances, wove a path home from back in the field, and then guided the wayward Saban to victory in the 1800m Benchmark 100.
The 18-year-old rolled forward on Roadcone from a wide draw in the 1600m Benchmark 84 and built an unassailable lead.

'I am a bit speechless … I had a nice even book and if they turned up I thought they could run a really nice race,' Cartwright said.
'For all horses to turn up and have myself give them a good ride, it means a lot.'
Coleman was thrilled to share the treble with Cartwright.
'Luke has been doing work for us behind the scenes … (great) to see him rewarded,' Coleman said.

'It was a lovely ride there, he looked at me a little bit funny when I said if he begins as well as he did at Pakenham you might find yourself in front, I'm not sure what he thought of that pre-race.
'When the horse jumped as well as he did there was no questions how it was going to pan out from there … with that light weight on his back they weren't going to catch him.'
Cartwright has ridden 68 winners including seven in town.
The Moody-Coleman yard has supplied his past five city winners.

Paul Gallen beat his long-time rival Sonny Bill Williams on Wednesday night and safe to say his opponent didn't take it well. After countless stories, insults, accusations and missteps, the two former footy greats took to the ring at Qudos Bank Arena well after their primes to finally settle their beef once and for all. Williams looked much fitter and fresher in the early rounds, fighting behind his jab, but faded late as Gallen came on strong in the latter rounds to claim bragging rights by split decision, 77-74, 74-77, 76-75. Post-fight, Gallen said he was shocked that even one judge gave it to SBW, feeling he had lost only one to two rounds. 'Seriously, how did they score that? Adding to the post-fight drama, Williams' former manager, Khoder Nasser, flipped off Gallen after the result was read and then argued with the Sharks great in the ring. He was escorted out by security, but by then, SBW was already halfway back to the dressing room, where the doors were firmly shut and it was made clear that no questions would be answered. And while Gallen thought the result was clear, many others believed SBW was hard done by, including Danny Green and Renee Gartner, who said in their opinion the Kiwi had done enough to win the fight. But nevertheless it will go down in the record books as a Gallen win. And with the 43-year-old saying he is 'too old to do this anymore', he goes out of the sport a winner.

Anthony Mundine calls out longtime rival Danny Green's son after Rahim Mundine scores KO win
Anthony Mundine has used the chance to take a shot at his long-time rival, Danny Green, after his son Rahim 'The Dream' Mundine won his second career fight by knockout. The son of Anthony and grandson of Tony Mundine, Rahim stepped back into the ring after injury ruined his dreams of playing NRL. And he had few troubles with Joe Vatusaqata (1-5 record) on Wednesday night. On the Sonny Bill Williams and undercard, Mundine was far too strong for Fijian boxer Vatusaqata, knocking him down twice in the second round before his corner threw in the towel. You can watch the vicious knockout in the player above. 'I went back to footy and hurt myself again, so I was like nah, I'm going back to boxing,' Mundine said after improving his record to 2-0. However, his post-fight interview quickly became a chance for the Mundines to reignite their beef with the Greens. Danny Green fought two massive fights against Anthony Mundine during their careers in the ring, splitting them 1-1. But that didn't stop Mundine accusing Danny of being scared of fighting again and instead called out Green's son Archie, who has never had a professional or amateur fight, to box his son Rahim. 'It makes sense (for his son to fight Archie),' Mundine said after his son improved to 2-0. 'I pumped Danny a couple of times; he doesn't want to admit it. He reckons he won the third fight, but he doesn't want to do it again. 'I said let's do it again, but he doesn't want to do it because he knows what's up, but our boys can do it.' Rahim added: 'He hasn't fought yet, but I'm sure if he does his job in the next five years and I keep doing what I'm doing, the Mundine last name can whoop the Green last name again, you know what I mean?' Danny Green – who was working in the commentary box for Stan Sport – fired back at Mundine. 'I'm a nice guy that's why I didn't take the third fight. You took 11 years to do the rematch you pelican,' Green said. 'I love you too much, I'd hurt you too much. So yeah, 100% and Choc can't count, the W is next to my name. Look what's going to happen in the future, our sons are going to carry on our legacies.' Archie Green was also open to the idea of fighting Rahim. 'At the moment I am 17 and I'm about 56kg and definitely I want to have a fight (at amateur level) before the end of this year,' Archie said.
