BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) is back! The global sensations recently held their 'DEADLINE' concert in Seoul – kicking off their highly anticipated world tour. During the show, the quartet also gave fans a first listen at their comeback track, 'JUMP'.
Over the weekend (5th and 6th July 2025), the renowned girl group performed their two-day concert at the Goyang Stadium in Seoul. This concert is BLACKPINK's first full group performance in over two years since all four members announced their departure from YG Entertainment in 2023 to pursue their solo careers. As such, BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans) gathered from all over the world to catch the girls live.
Given BLACKPINK's influence in the entertainment industry, many celebrities also attended the show. On the first day of the concert, stars like EXO's Suho (엑소 수호), WJSN's Bona (우주소녀 보나) and actor Lee Minho (이민호) were spotted in the crowd. The second day of the concert saw more celebrities in attendance, including Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi (레드벨벳 아이린, 슬기), TWICE's Jihyo and Nayeon (트와이스 지효, 나연), SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan, Mingyu, and The8 (세븐틴 정한, 민규, 디에잇), and BTS' J-Hope (방탄소년단 제이홉).
The concert also garnered attention after YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK would perform their comeback track for the first time during the event. Before the show, the girl group dropped hints about the song, including the title: 'JUMP (뛰어)'. The song initially drew a lot of attention, despite not being officially out yet, because it marks the first BLACKPINK release in two years. However, following the first performance, netizens' reactions became mixed.
As heard in videos taken from the concert, the track featured an upbeat tempo with a beat drop before the chorus. Unfortunately, many netizens found 'JUMP' a little lacklustre in comparison to BLACKPINK's past title tracks. Some argued that the quality of the song isn't up to par with the group's other releases, lamenting it sounds like a 'B-class' track. Others also said the quality of the song was disappointing, given the anticipation built up for it.
However, many fans did seem to enjoy the song and are hoping that the official release would bring more justice to the song. 'JUMP' is expected to be officially released later this week on music streaming sites. In the meantime, check out a video of the performance below:

(Video) Fans React To BLACKPINK Jennie & Samuel L. Jackson Lip-Syncing To Each Other In New adidas Ad

Sometimes, you might spot your favourite celebrity in an advertisement for a brand they represent as an ambassador, or have collaborated with. Other times, an ad will feature an all-star cast, including some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. adidas did just that with their latest campaign for the adidas Superstar collection. The black and white video advertisement, posted on Instagram, features rappers Missy Elliott and GloRilla, actor Samuel L. Jackson, model Gabbriette, and BLACKPINK's Jennie (제니). While the video has been gaining plenty of attention on social media, it's not necessarily for the shoes they're promoting. Here's what we mean: Yesterday (Monday, 7th July), adidas shared their latest advertisement on their official social media platforms, featuring the aforementioned celebrities. The promo was created to celebrate the brand's timeless classic, with narration by Samuel L. Jackson and the other stars joining in with their lines throughout the video. On Instagram, fans were raving over Jennie's appearance, praising her ethereal visuals in the promo. Over on Twitter, however, the conversation took a different turn. At one point in the advertisement, many viewers were caught off guard when BLACKPINK's Jennie and the Marvel actor appeared to lip-sync to each other's voices during the line, 'Trendy today, tacky tomorrow.' The unexpected moment instantly went viral with many finding it unexpected and hilarious. Some likened the viral clip to the 'you make a face, I make a sound' game that's been trending on TikTok. Others joked that this might be the closest we'll get to a Jennie and Marvel collaboration, given that one of Samuel L. Jackson's most iconic roles is Director Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whatever the comments are, most appear to be positive, and fans love the new campaign, knowing the K-pop idol is part of it. From one K-pop concert announcement to another, fans are truly being spoiled with a steady stream of shows coming to Kuala Lumpur this year. It's certainly been a while since this boy group last performed in Malaysia, but the wait is finally over, as they're officially making their return to give fans a night to remember! Earlier today (Tuesday, 8th July), concert organiser CQ Entertainment announced on social media that K-pop boy group WINNER (위너) will be embarking on their 'OUR MOMENT' tour across Asia later this year — and it's now confirmed that Malaysia is one of the stops. Here's what we know so far: Back in May, YG Entertainment announced that WINNER would be holding a three-day concert this July at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea. This sparked speculation among fans that the group would soon embark on a world tour, and possibly make a comeback with new music, as it has been five years since their last album, 'Remember.' While there's no news of a new album just yet, what we do know is that the boys will be returning to Malaysia as part of their upcoming Asia tour, marking their first concert here since 2020. Although limited information has been released at the time of writing, here are the confirmed details so far: WINNER 'OUR MOMENT 2025 ASIA CONCERT' in KUALA LUMPUR Date: 1st November 2025 (Saturday) 1st November 2025 (Saturday) Venue: TBA TBA Organiser: CQ Entertainment Be sure to stay tuned for more updates, or follow CQ Entertainment on all their social media platforms for the latest information about the upcoming KL show in the coming days. We certainly can't wait to see Kim Jin-woo, Lee Seung-hoon, Mino and Kang Seung-yoon back on stage after all these years. #SHOWBIZ: BlackPink fans demand compensation for Deadline Tour seats with obstructed views

SEOUL: Some unlucky BlackPink fans have been unable to watch their idols in action, due to their views being blocked. This happened at the South Korean girl group's recent show at Goyang Sports Complex, which is part of their Deadline World Tour. The Korean Herald reported yesterday that those seated in the N3, N8 and N9 zones found their views obstructed by huge stage installations. They had paid regular B-tier ticket prices of 132,000 Korean won (RM409), but could not see the stage at all. The ticketing site mentioned 'possible visual obstruction due to stage structures' but according to fans, this was a complete blockage of their view and some are considering filing a report. South Korea's consumer protection guidelines allow concert-goers to apply for a full refund as well as 10 per cent compensation should the organiser significantly obstruct the audience's view.
