One of Caitlin Clark's top rookie cards hits the auction block at Alt on Friday morning, and the company believes it could set an all-time record when bidding concludes.
The 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Gold Vinyl 1/1 PSA 9 has never sold at public auction and was one of the biggest chase cards from Panini's flagship WNBA release.

The current record for any Clark card at public auction is $366,000, set in March, which is also the record for a card of any female athlete.
The current record-holder is Clark's 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl 1/1 PSA 10/10. Unlike the card coming to auction at Alt, that card has an autograph from Clark.
In fact, Clark's top three card sales all have autographs, with the top sale for a non-autographed card the $105,326 paid for her 2024 Panini Select WNBA Gold Vinyl 1/1 PSA 10 in February.
The most expensive card sold through Alt is a 2003 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection LeBron James RPA, which cleared $560,000 in August 2024.

Angel Reese Reacts to Kamilla Cardoso News on Wednesday

Angel Reese Reacts to Kamilla Cardoso News on Wednesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky have struggled to begin the 2025 WNBA season, securing a 5-11 record through 16 games, good for fifth in the Eastern Conference. Advertisement Still, the Sky appear to have turned a corner in their last three games, going 2-1 during that stretch. However, they've been without center Kamilla Cardoso for the past two, with Elizabeth Williams recently stepping into the starting role. Cardoso temporarily left Chicago to join the Brazil National Team for the Women's AmeriCup in Chile. And Cardoso continued to shine. In Brazil's 106-49 win over El Salvador, Cardoso tallied 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting and 10 rebounds, marking her second double-double of the group stage. The FIBA Women's AmeriCup shared Cardoso's latest statline on Instagram with the caption: "Another day, another double-double for Kamilla Cardoso 💪." Through those four games, Cardoso averaged 11.8 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. Her teammate, Damiris Dantas, who also plays for the Indiana Fever, ranks second in AmeriCup scoring at 18.8 points per game. Although the Sky have struggled this season, Cardoso has shown growth in her second year in the WNBA. The 6-foot-9 center out of South Carolina is averaging 12.7 points on 56.1% shooting, along with 6.6 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game, all while playing more than four minutes fewer per night compared to her rookie season.
