Andor Could have Gotten a Standalone Horror Episode about the Creation of K-2SO
The end of the last Andor arc had the creation of K-2SO which reveals he was an imperial droid that was reprogrammed by the Rebellion. While his introduction seemed simple enough, the series apparently had different plans for him originally.
Talking to Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Tony Gilroy reveals that Dan Gilroy had written a standalone episode that was supposed to be 'like a horror movie' that would have dealt with the rebels reprogramming K-2. Gilroy explained:
'It was the K2 story… They had to bring this huge ugly tanker ship to Yavin, and there was a KX unit that was trapped inside there hunting. It was sort of like a monster movie with K2 on it. It was really cool.'
As for why the story was cut, it was revealed that they didn't have the budget for it. Originally it was planned for Episode 09, but since they couldn't do it, they just pushed forward with Mon Mothma's speech which was supposed to be Episode 10.
If anything, having the creation of K-2 being the closing of the Ghorman arc does feel like it makes sense organically; but it also makes Mothma's speech more urgent and her escape more heart-pounding seeing that it takes place so close to the massacre.
For now, fans are expecting one last time jump to build up to the events of Rogue One . We don't know if Cassian will ever see Bix again, but the fanbase is hoping that she eventually sees him one last time before he dies on Scarif.
Catch the final arc of Andor when it comes to Disney+ on Tuesday next week.

First Look at the Villain of Toy Story 5, LilyPad
Like it or not, Pixar is pushing forward with more Toy Story movies, and it looks like the fifth one is going to put technology front and center. Just in, we have a look at LilyPad, the tablet who will be the main antagonist of Toy Story 5. Check her out: 'Toy Story 5' was shown at France Annecy Festival today The opening scene was shown which included a shipment of Buzz Lightyear's crashing on a Island A tablet named 'Lilypad' will also be a villian in 'Toy Story 5' (Photo credit – Pixar)#Toystory5 #Pixar #Disney — TheRatedReel (@TheRatedReel) June 13, 2025 So far, we know that LilyPad has a disagreement with the toys on what's best for Bonnie. It definitely sounds like she's like Anxiety in Inside Out 2 , and it's possible we get to watch her as she makes Bonnie obsessed with screentime—just like modern-day kids (and even adults) are. As for the second photo, it's also been revealed that there's a shipment full of Buzz Lightyears that get washed up on an island. Since the series like to keep coming back to Buzz thinking that he's a space ranger, it looks like TS5 could be running with that concept by making a whole island of Buzzes who all think they're stranded on an odd planet. Though a lot of fans think that Toy Story 3 was the perfect end to the trilogy, these newer movies do feel like expanded shorts that give the characters more fun adventures as compared to serious life transitions. Sure, Woody rides off with Bo Peep in the last movie, but it does seem like he's going to find some kind of way to be wrangled back into Bonnie's life. He does keep posted with Buzz and the rest of Andy's old toys; maybe Woody and Bo are the ones that find the island of Lightyears and somehow have to save them? We'll just have to wait and see till we get the first teaser. Toy Story 5 is set to hit theaters on June 19, 2026.

Andor Creator Says The Clone Wars ‘Wasn't Even In His Radar'
Andor creator Tony Gilroy has always been frank about him not being the biggest fan of Star Wars despite his show being critically praised; and while everyone is making heads or tails on the connections to the how, Gilroy reveals that he wasn't even thinking of one of the monoliths of the fandom—the animated Clone Wars series. In a recent interview with a group of Star Wars Youtubers (via Star Wars Explained), Gilroy was asked about the connection of Andor —specifically Mon Mothma's speech—to The Clone Wars , and how it echoed the themes that George Lucas himself championed; to which Gilroy responded: 'Oh really? That's not on my radar, but yeah… fantastic.' The interview is actually pretty interesting with Gilroy himself saying that he also worked as a history teacher, which is why a lot of themes of revolution feel like they've been drawn from real life. Even the Ghor were made to sound French as an ode to IRL French revolutionaries. For now, it looks like Gilroy is taking a break from Star Wars , but he does leave the door open for future projects. ' I hope the lesson is let your freak flag fly and work your ass off… there's nothing you can take for granted.' We don't know if Star Wars is ever going to see another series like this, but with the critical reception and the viewing numbers to back it up, maybe Lucasfilm is going to think twice when it comes to making a choice between fresh new stories or nostalgia-baiting prequels (sorry Dave Filoni). For now, watch the complete Andor now streaming on Disney+.

Vision Quest Casts Ultron's Wife Jocasta and Human Version of EDITH
We've barely gotten any updates on Disney+'s Vision Quest series, but we've been getting some new casting rumors about characters that will be appearing in the show–specifically other AI like Vision. Besides the return of James Spader as Ultron, Deadline has also reported that T'Nia Miller ( The Haunting of Bly Manor ) has been cast as Jocasta in the series. In the comics, Jocasta was a robot created by Ultron (just like Vision) with the intention to put Janet Van Dyne's (The Wasp) consciousness inside her and make her his robot wife. Apparently that backfires and Jocasta ends up being a force for good. With the changes in Ultron's origins in the MCU, it would be possible that Jocasta's origins will be different, but the leaked concept art for Doomsday did feature concept art for Jocasta who was also played by Michelle Pfeiffer (a.k.a. Janet from Quantumania ). Besides Miller, there is also a rumor going around that Emily Hampshire ( Schitt's Creek ) has also been cast in the series as the human version of EDITH—the AI that was gifted to Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Far from Home . EDITH hasn't been explored or mentioned since that movie, but it would make sense for a show about Vision to delve into all the other AI characters in the MCU. I wouldn't be surprised if the original JARVIS showed up, or other AI like Tony Stark's Friday—the AI that helps him right after he lost JARVIS to Ultron. Vision Quest is expected to release on Disney+ sometime in 2026.
