Meet the new Microwave Grill Plate
Kmart has officially launched a spin off of the viral microwave toastie maker - the Microwave Grill Plate.
The product is also $15, just like the OG, but it's larger, perfect for sandwiches, focaccias, chicken, fish and other meals directly in your microwave, according to the Kmart website.
'Omg it's amazing'
It's only just hit the shelves, and people are already loving it.
Influencer @dina.sweethome.style_ shared a video to Instagram using the product. First, she heated it up in the microwave for 60 seconds, before loading it up with a delicious sandwich. She heated it for 3 minutes in the microwave, and was left with a perfectly toasted sandwich.
'If you loved the small microwave sandwich toaster from Kmart… you [are] going to love this new larger microwave grill even more,' she wrote in her post.
'I have made toasted sandwiches , grilled chicken and halloumi and omg it's amazing. It's great for work lunches, holidays and if you have allergies and can't share a grill at work with your work colleagues this is the solution.
'And noooo does not come out soggy!'
'What a great idea!'
While some commenters had hesitations about heating up plastic in the microwave, the majority couldn't wait to pick it up and try it for themselves.
'Just added one of these to my very long list of list have's for the new house. A toasted sandwich is my fave go to for lunch!' said one person.
'Wow what a great idea and super easy to do and quick,' another agreed.
'Thats so handy, and awesome that it makes it crispy,' a third person said.

Jelena Dokic looks slimmer than ever at Wimbledon after the tennis great revealed she 'halved' dress size
Jelena Dokic has stunned fans with a photo of herself looking slimmer than ever before at the iconic Wimbledon tennis tournament. The retired tennis star is currently serving as part of Nine's commentary team for the tournament, the same event where she advanced to the semifinals in 2000 aged 16. Dokic, 42, took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday to post a stunning photo of herself inside the commentator's booth at the famous two-week event. She flashed her signature mega-watt smile at the camera in the snap, with her pinstripe trousers and burgundy blouse accentuating her figure. Dokic looked confident as she posed with one hand on her hip, wearing glamorous makeup and her hair styled in loose waves. "Ready for Wimbledon," she wrote in the caption. "And, like always, so is the whole styling and hair and makeup team. "Wouldn't be able to do anything without them all." Fans of the tennis great flooded the comments praising the star, with many people pointing out how much Dokic's Wimbledon look suited her. "Burgundy really suits you, Jelena," one person said. "Looking amazing. That colour so suits you. But the best beauty here is your confidence shining through," another person said. "Lovely outfit Jelena, enjoy your time commentating at Wimbledon," a third person said. One more fan said Dokic had a "beautiful glow" in her latest photo, while another person said the media figure is a "wonderful role model". The retired tennis great has publicly chronicled her weight loss journey after shedding about 20 kilos through diet and lifestyle changes. However, commentators have expressed doubts about her weight loss amid the rise of injectable GLP-1 medications like Ozempic. Dokic recently shared a remarkable comparison of herself before and after her transformation on Instagram, where she addressed more claims she has 'abandoned plus-sized people' after halving her dress size. 'When I was a size 20, someone always complained, and now that I am a size 10, someone is always complaining too,' she wrote in the caption. 'It's now bad that I am healthier and lost some weight, and I have abandoned standing up for plus-size people." Dokic's glowing Wimbledon appearance comes after she shared a telling post hinting that the retired tennis star has found love, just weeks after she was spotted cosying up with a mystery man at Melbourne Airport. "May you attract someone who treats you like they've been waiting their whole life to find you," read a post Dokic shared on Instagram last month. She said she "absolutely" agreed with another post, which spoke about "redefining what love looks like", and it's not "roses or expensive gifts". Dokic looked visibly elated as she touched down at Melbourne Airport in May. It's there she embraced an unknown man who was seen eagerly awaiting her arrival inside the terminal. In footage obtained by Dokic could be seen running her fingers along the side of the man's torso. The pair then walked out into the pickup zone of the airport. Dokic split from her previous partner, Brazilian-born Tin Bukic, in late 2022 after an almost two-decade-long relationship. She recently opened up on the Mental As Anyone podcast about how the demise of her relationship jeopardised her plans to start a family. 'I was in a relationship for almost 19 years from the age of 20, and right when we split up, we were about to start trying for a family,' Jelena said. 'I actually think I would be a good mum, to be honest; I love kids.' Dokic revealed she was now planning to start a family as a 'single parent' and was open to exploring adoption. 'It is something I would like to do because I love kids,' she said. 'I didn't have the best experience (but) if I was, let's say, a single mum and adopted one day, it would have all the love in the world.' The former Wimbledon semi-finalist was born in 1983 in the former communist state Yugoslavia before resettling in Serbia and then arriving in Australia as a refugee in 1994. Dokic in 2009 enjoyed an unforgettable run at the Australian Open after entering as a wildcard and ultimately advancing to the quarter-finals. She retired from the sport in 2014 and turned to commentating tennis, a role for which she is highly sought after. Dokic revealed the harrowing family violence she suffered at the hands of her estranged father and coach Damir Dokic in her memoir Unbreakable. She has claimed her father has never apologised for his alleged verbal, emotional and physical abuse.

'I don't get it': Eternally youthful Getaway host Catriona Rowntree, 53, reveals her major problem with Paris
Catriona Rowntree has taken aim at one of Paris's most enduring quirks- its notoriously small hotel lifts. The Getaway host, who's spent nearly three decades travelling the globe for the long-running Nine Network series, voiced her frustration on Instagram while in the French capital. "Another European lift. I don't get it?" the 53-year-old mother of two said in a video shared to her Instagram stories on Tuesday. "How does anyone fit a suitcase and human in here. Does that make me crazy?" The veteran TV host isn't new to the lift dilemma, either. Just days earlier, Rowntree shared a reel titled "dumb things I've done in Paris" which included a video of her sending her suitcase up the lift on its own because there wasn't enough room for her to fit alongside it. "My suitcase barely fits in the lift," she said. "Have to send it on its own. Shameless overpacker!" She followed the post with a photo of her large red hardshell suitcase crammed inside a tiny lift with the caption: "Learn from my mistakes!" Her relatable gripe struck a chord with fans. "Been there!! Stay strong," one follower commented. Another added: "Oh oui!!!! I've done the exact same thing and somehow I don't learn!" Rowntree, who has been in France filming new Getaway segments since mid-June, has also shared other moments from her Parisian adventure, including a star sighting. "So, I'm just enjoying the Parisian view when this happens…," she captioned a clip filmed while dining at Le Sevre Raspail, as French film icon Isabelle Huppert casually walked past. "French cinematic royalty strolls by. IYKYK (If you know you know)." On Monday night, she also posted a dreamy video of a hot air balloon floating above Paris around 10:30pm, referencing a decision by French President Emmanuel Macron to keep the 2024 Olympic Cauldron-inspired balloon on display until 2028. "Prepare to be shocked, sometimes a politician does actually listen to the locals and responds accordingly!" she wrote. "When @emmanuelmacron saw how much people loved the Olympic Cauldron/ballon, he said 'non, don't pack it away!' (Or words to that effect) and it will continue the positive spirit of the games, staying until 2028, re-engineered to increase its staying power and an absolute win for tourism!" She later added: "I really shoulda made this reel longer, but I hope you get the point…it's gorgeous!" Born in Sydney, Rowntree began her media career in radio in 1991 as a newsreader and lifestyle presenter, including a stint on Triple J. She later joined the Nine Network as a researcher on the children's show Wonder World!, becoming a reporter in 1993 and host the following year. In 1996, she scored her dream job on Getaway, where she has remained a staple on the series ever since. While her career is defined by international travel, Rowntree enjoys downtime at home on a farm in rural Victoria with her husband, farmer James Pettit, and their two sons, Andrew and Charles.

Debbie Harry describes cosmetic surgery as necessary for her career
Debbie Harry has described cosmetic surgery as necessary for her career. The Blondie singer, 80, spoke candidly to Vanity Fair about her decision to undergo plastic surgery, saying it helped her feel more confident and better about herself. She revealed: 'As far as me having cosmetic surgery, it made me feel better about myself. Maybe it made me feel happy, or more confident.' Debbie added the procedures were something she felt she needed at the time. She said: 'I wanted to work, and so much of women being attractive, and being a selling point, is clearly showbiz. 'If you're going to be in the business, be in it.' Debbie also reflected on the pressure entertainers face regarding their appearance, noting cosmetic surgery now starts at much younger ages. 'It's not like I started having cosmetic surgery as a kid in school — I think nowadays a lot of girls are getting cosmetic surgery when they're 10, 11 years old,' she said. Debbie added: 'God bless if it improves their lives and they feel happy.' Her openness follows a recent wave of celebrities discussing their own cosmetic procedures. Khloe Kardashian, 41, recently responded in the comments of a reel by Dr Jonathan Betteridge, detailing her nose job and what she described as 'salmon sperm facials'. Kylie Jenner, 27, has also revealed the specifics of her breast augmentation after a TikTok user asked about her 'most perfect, natural boob job ever'. Jenner wrote online: '445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!!!! silicone!!!' Meanwhile, Kris Jenner, 69, praised her surgeon Dr Garth Fisher in an Instagram comment, recalling her first facelift in 2011. 'You made it the most amazing experience ever and even gave us access to film so that others could get a peek inside what it's like and not be afraid,' Kris said. Fans have compared Kris' refreshed look to her supermodel daughter Kendall, 29. A representative confirmed Dr Steven Levine of New York is responsible for Kris' youthful appearance. Kristin Cavallari, 38, recently shared details of her breast augmentation on Instagram Stories, saying: 'I was 300 cc before and now I'm 340. 'Everyone thinks I went a lot bigger but I've just pushed them up a couple of times since getting them done.'
