Hollywood star parties with Kneecap at Glastonbury amid police probe over ‘free Palestine' chant and ‘terror group' top
HOLLYWOOD actor Jamie Dornan was seen backstage at Glastonbury partying with Irish rap group Kneecap as police investigate politically charged moments during their set and another by Bobby Vylan.

An unexpected celebrity endorsement came from Jamie as The Robin Hood star, from Northern Ireland, posed backstage with the band made up of rappers Mo Chara and Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí.
They performed shortly after punk duo Bob Vylan also stirred controversy, with frontman
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed on X that they are reviewing footage from both sets: 'We are aware of the comments made by acts on the West Holts Stage at Glastonbury Festival this afternoon.
'Video evidence will be assessed by officers to determine whether any offences may have been committed that would require a criminal investigation.'

The BBC declined to stream Kneecap's performance live, citing editorial standards, though one audience member live streamed it in full on TikTok.
The band also led anti-Keir Starmer chants after he called for them to be axed from the Glastonbury line-up.
However, many fans waved pro-Palestinian banners and wore themed face paint in support.
The West Holts stage was temporarily closed due to fears of overcrowding, with festival organisers issuing a 'no access' warning shortly before Kneecap's 4pm performance.

Following the performance from Bob Vylan, Glastonbury said: "Glastonbury Festival was created in 1970 as a place for people to come together and rejoice in music, the arts and the best of human endeavour.
"As a festival, we stand against all forms of war and terrorism. We will always believe in - and actively campaign for - hope, unity, peace and love.
"With almost 4,000 performances at Glastonbury 2025, there will inevitably be artists and speakers appearing on our stages whose views we do not share, and a performer's presence here should never be seen as a tacit endorsement of their opinions and beliefs.
"However, we are appalled by the statements made from the West Holts stage by Bob Vylan yesterday.
"Their chants very much crossed a line and we are urgently reminding everyone involved in the production of the Festival that there is no place at Glastonbury for antisemitism, hate speech or incitement to violence."

Bohemians FC launch new jersey in partnership with Oasis
Bohemians FC have officially announced the release of the club's new jersey, in partnership with Oasis. The 100% fan-owned not-for-profit club have unveiled the new shirt that will be worn during the upcoming FAI Cup campaign and which they believed will pay "homage to the one of the greatest bands of all time, and two of Ireland's most famous sons." The jersey also features the Oasis logo in the traditional blue tones of Dublin City, with a 90s styling and sublimated chevron patterns, as well as a white and blue collar and sleeve trims. It is manufactured by O'Neill's Sportswear Ireland and designed in-house by Bohemian FC in collaboration with Oasis, who are set to play at Croke Park in the near future with their new tour beginning on Friday. All profits from the shirt will be split between Bohemian FC and two charities. Fifty percent (50%) of the profits from the shirt will be used by Bohemian Football Club to help build on the club's pioneering work across its football and community activities. The other fifty percent (50%) will be split 25% to Music Generation Ireland, to allow disadvantaged kids across Ireland access music and 25% to Irish Community Care Manchester (ICCM), for their amazing work with the Irish community in the city. No proceeds will go to Oasis for their partnership and support of this project. 'We are delighted to unveil this jersey today following lots of work with the Oasis over the past six months, with special thanks to Noel and Liam for supporting this," Daniel Lambert, Chief Operating Officer of Bohemian Football Club told their official website. "To be able to work with Oasis and design a new iconic shirt that will reach fans around the world is special. And to once again have funds going towards such worthy causes, that will assist thousands of people across Ireland and Manchester, is brilliant. Tom Grennan's 'Irish citizenship test' fails on two questions we all should know
Singer Tom Grennan has never been shy to say he is proud to be half-Irish – and he even has the initials 'OY' tattooed on his knuckles which represent the car reg for Offaly. His father is from Ballycumber, County Offaly and growing up Tom spent summers, Christmases and half-terms in Ireland where he would stay at his granny's house. Long-term pal Roman Kemp put his Irish knowledge to the test for BBC Sounds, but two easy questions let him down. Roman told the Little Bit Of Love performer: "Obviously, you've got an Irish passport, so you must know a lot about Ireland? So a citizenship test would be a good thing to do. And who best to give you a citizen test than your own father?' Roman then played voice notes from Tom's dad whose first question was a no brainer. He asked: 'Right boys, imagine you're in Gav's Inn in Ballycumber ordering a pint of Guinness and next thing you want a packet of crisps, what crisps would you get?' Quick off the mark, Tom, 30, was correct with Tayto, before Roman observed: 'Your dad is the most Irish person I have ever heard. Mate, I'm not joking, he could have been Father Ted.' His next question was about the meaning behind the word 'jacks', which of course, Tom was able to answer as the toilet. However, Tom's knowledge failed him on two questions most of us will know the answer to. His dad asked: 'I'm looking for a river running through Dublin, can you give me the name of it?' Tom, having never heard of the Liffey, said he had 'no idea' and even claimed he 'barely knew' the river flowing through London (River Thames). And he joked: 'My dad didn't know that. My mum would have told him.' His answers went from bad to worse when his dad then asked what you are meant to do when visiting the famous Blarney Stone in Cork. Tom guessed that you had to 'rub it for good luck' before being told that people kissed the stone. However, despite the two wrong answers, Tom, who is from Bedford, showed his appreciation and knowledge for Irish sports. Asked who Barry Nash was and what his sport was, Tom said: 'Hurling is the fastest grass sport in the world and one of the most brutal as well. 'Barry Nash is a man from Limerick and I think they won the All Ireland like five or six times.' Asked whether he watched hurling, he replied: 'Yeah mate, it is sick. I watch hurling and a bit of Gaelic as well.' Tom is going back on tour in September and on the 13th of that month he will perform at Dublin's 3Arena. And speaking to RTE in 2022, he expressed his sentiment for the country, saying: 'It's a place that means a lot to me and I do feel at home here. 'I feel a connection with Ireland. More now that my music is doing OK here. I've just got this extended family now, which is mad. At gigs here, the Irish lot know that I am one of them. There's a family connection for sure.'
