Megan and Tommy had seemed to be one of the dating show's most secure couples until this week, when her head was turned by Conor - sparking other Islanders to brand the situation 'wife swap'.
But The Sun can reveal that after the four Islanders returned from The Sleepover at Casa Amor on Tuesday, Megan and Conor decided to cuddle up in the breakout bedroom and the naughty action went beyond just kissing.
The Islander's return featured on last night's show - but Megan and Conor's private night may not air until tonight or even Friday.
The news will send Love Island fans into meltdown as they're already up in arms over Megan ditching Tommy - who has fallen for her.
A source said: 'After Conor and Megan snogged on the terrace the writing was on the wall, they were absolutely desperate to carry on, and so they decided to go into the Hideaway.
'Obviously the Islanders all went mental about it but they didn't care.
'They were all over each other in there and, to use Love Island terminology, did bits.
'The No Invite Needed rule for The Hideaway is the best thing to ever happen to Love Island.
'It's meant that instead of fairly pedestrian, shmaltzy scenes between settled couples, you've got the high passion of a new match or illicit link- up instead.'

TOMMY'S TEARS
Tommy previously branded Conor "disrespectful" for his conduct after he set his sights on Megan.
Earlier this week, Megan's mood took a turn for the worse when Harry told Tommy that she'd admitted she has more sexual chemistry with Conor.
She and Harry later clashed in the bathroom with Megan yelling "stop getting involved".
The bad vibes ran into the night as Megan and Tommy then clashed in bed, resulting in Tommy getting out and the pair sleeping separately.
In the morning, Tommy confided in the boys and said he wanted to "sit in the corner and do nothing all day", before breaking down in tears.
He was comforted by Harry, who told him he'd "conducted himself like a champ".
Megan dug herself in a deeper hole when she snogged Conor not once but twice on the terrace after admitting she'd recouple with him if the opportunity was there.
They both loved the intimate moment, with Conor calling it his "best kiss" and Megan rating it "11 out of 10".
Viewers have reacted angrily to Megan's brazen attitude and one wrote on X: "Megan's a nasty piece of work."
Another said: "Going to the terrace and kissing Connor TWICE after you have been told Tommy was crying is crazy..."
A third posted: "Megan is insufferable I can't stand her."
Others have gone further, branding Megan a "gaslighter" and demanding she be booted off the show.

EXCLUSIVE Tommy Fury shares hug with Molly-Mae Hague lookalike during wild night out as he parties until the early hours - following his reconciliation with the influencer
shared a hug with his brother Roman's girlfriend, who strikes a remarkable resemblance to his own partner Molly-Mae Hague, during a wild night out in Cheshire on Friday. The boxer, 26, was spotted on the rare outing without his former fiancée, also 26, who he met on Love Island in 2019 and split from last year, before reconciling. Tommy, who shares two-year-old daughter Bambi with the influencer, said the reason their romance ended was down to his excessive drinking. He showcased his buff physique in a tight black top and matching cargo trousers as he danced the night away with a large group of pals and partied into the early hours. First Tommy was seen at the Bubble Room in Alderley Edge before heading over to The Symposium night club where he is said to have ended his evening at 2am. He chatted intently his brother's partner before she wrapped her arms around his neck for a friendly embrace. The Symposium is owned by Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor Dawson, 43, best known for his role as Darren Osborne in the Channel 4 soap. Customers can splash the cash on private booths that cost up to £1200 and come with bottles of pricey champagne. It was recently claimed that a feud is brewing between Molly and Tommy 's families over their decision to give their relationship another go. Earlier this month, a report from The Sun suggested that Molly-Mae's sister Zoe was concerned about them getting back together. In the latest episodes of Molly-Mae's Amazon Prime documentary Behind It All, Zoe expressed her doubts over Tommy openly. This in turn reportedly angered Tommy's family including his brother Tyson and his wife Paris. A source told the publication: 'The Fury family aren't impressed that Zoe has been so outspoken about Tommy. 'They're a fiercely loyal bunch and seeing Zoe's comments broadcast to millions of people via Amazon absolutely got their hackles up. 'To them Tommy is a stand up guy, a good, hard working father. His drinking issues shouldn't be used as a stick to beat him.' The insider added that Paris is confused as to why Zoe would try to hinder the family getting back together. Despite the claims, Tommy finally made his return to Molly-Mae's YouTube vlogs for the first time since the couple's shock split. After months of rumours that they had rekindled their romance, the couple finally confirmed they were back on by going Instagram official last month with a loved-up family snap with their daughter Bambi. But Molly-Mae has insisted the pair are taking it slow this time around, with the boxer still not moving back in to her Cheshire mansion, and not being shown on her vlogs - until now. Her latest video diary released last week, saw Tommy back on camera again, announcing: 'The wanderer has returned! Like nothing ever changed.' And the couple looked as loved-up as ever, as they cosied up together and burst into a fit of giggles, before Tommy even leaned in for a kiss and bid Molly goodbye with an 'I love you'. And Molly-Mae even reflected on it feeling 'a little bit full circle' as the pair caught a glimpse of the beginning of their love story, as they watched Love Island anniversary special. To mark 10 years of the show, ITV aired a one-off Love Island: Decade of Love last week, where they celebrated Molly-Mae and Tommy as one of their biggest success stories. The pair fell for each other in front of the nation during series five in 2019, before going on to welcome daughter Bambi and get engaged in 2023. But fans were shocked when they announced they'd split on Instagram in August, with Tommy later revealing Molly ended their romance over his excessive drinking. In a statement posted to her 8.5million Instagram followers, she confirmed the breakup, saying: 'I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.' Tommy denied continued speculation about him cheating during a magazine interview, insisting any reports about him being with other women were 'complete and utter b*****ks.'
