Barcelona fans kickstart fresh Ballon d'Or campaign after PSG's defeat to Chelsea
This comes owing to developments in the Club World Cup final.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain of course locked horns in the CWC showpiece on Sunday night, with the former having ultimately emerged dominant 3-0 victors.
As much has dealt a potential blow to the Ballon d'Or hopes of PSG standout Ousmane Dembélé, who was considered something of a shoo-in for the prize, if the French champions had triumphed over Chelsea.
With the race now back open, though, those of a Barcelona persuasion have not been long in pushing the name of Lamine back to the forefront of the discussion.
Across social media and beyond, the Blaugrana faithful are now again calling for their side's prodigious young winger to beat out the competition to the 2025 Golden Ball.

Randy Moss Makes Opinion On Tyreek Hill Extremely Clear
Randy Moss Makes Opinion On Tyreek Hill Extremely Clear originally appeared on The Spun. When it comes to the NFL's greatest receivers it doesn't take long until you get to Randy Moss. The former Vikings-Patriots great is fourth on the all-time list in both receiving yards and touchdowns, and his freakish athleticism and ability to highpoint the football helped turn his name into a verb: "You got Mossed!" Advertisement Now with the Hall of Famer's most recent health scare behind him, his restaurant Crisppi's is partnering with the Miami Dolphins. And that led to the 48-year-old giving his opinion on one of the team's biggest stars. "I think it's going to be pretty interesting," Moss said of the Fins' upcoming season. "Bringing Minkah [Fitzpatrick] back, trading Jalen [Ramsey] — with all the drama and things off the field that's been going on, I'm just looking for a big year for this offense — Tua [Tagovailoa] and Tyreek Hill, mainly." However when asked where he'd rank Hill among the all-time wideouts, Moss said he doesn't. "He's nowhere all-time," Moss stated. "Where is he at in today's game? Tyreek Hill is probably top five. I put him top five." Advertisement The six-time Pro Bowler also talked about where he places himself in the wide receiver GOAT conversation. And while he admits that Jerry Rice is the politically correct answer, "If we're talking real football, where I knock your ass out, it's me." (Photo by)Hill actually has more career accolades than Moss in terms of Pro Bowls, All-Pro teams and his 2019 Super Bowl ring. But after posting his worst ever full-season stats as a starter last year, some of the shine has been taken off of Tyreek's current standing. With that said, Hill will still go down as one of the most dangerous players of his era. Where that places him all-time though — that remains to be seen. Trump kept FIFA Club World Cup trophy for himself - leaving champions Chelsea to lift a replica
President Donald Trump revealed that FIFA officials gave him the Club World Cup trophy ahead of Chelsea's win in inaugural competition's final. Before the showpiece game at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey, Trump told broadcaster DAZN that he was gifted the trophy, and that it currently sits in the Oval Office. Advertisement FIFA President Gianni Infantino visited the White House, along with the trophy, in March. 'They said, 'Could you hold this trophy for a little while?' We put it in the Oval Office,' Trump said. 'And then I said, 'When are you going to pick up the trophy?' He says, 'We're never going to pick it up. You can have it forever in the Oval Office. We're making a new one.'' 'And they actually made a new one. So that was quite exciting…It's in the Oval right now,' he added. This meant that, despite upsetting the odds with their triumph over European champions Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea had to make do with the replica trophy. 'They would call it football, but I guess we call it soccer,' Trump said, referring to the sport's name throughout much of the world. The interviewer asked: 'What if we make an executive order that we can only say football?' 'I think we could do that,' he added. 'I think I could do that.' (Getty Images) Trump grabbed headlines throughout Sunday's final. He was jeered when he appeared on the stadium's screens alongside First Lady Melania Trump, and again when he walked onto the pitch to present medals to the players with Infantino, who confirmed last week that FIFA opened a new office in New York City's Trump Tower. Advertisement More confusion was sparked online when the president remained with the Chelsea players on stage as they celebrated, having already handed captain Reece James the trophy. After the match, players from the English Premier League club admitted they didn't expect the president to stay with them. 'I knew he was going to be here but I didn't know he was going to be on the stand when we lifted the trophy. I was a bit confused, yes,' Cole Palmer, who scored twice in the game, told PA Media. 'They told me that he was going to present the trophy and then exit the stage, and I thought that he was going to exit the stage, but he wanted to stay,' captain James added.
