Martin was snapped on the Fir Park touchline with Kevin Thelwell and Kevin Thelwell
Rangers boss Russell Martin was filmed in deep conversation with the club's chief executive and sporting director moments after he went nuclear on his players.

The former Southampton boss let rip with a rant which was described by Record Sport pundit Chris Sutton as a machine gun attack on players Martin regards as having inflated egos.

Martin was snapped on the Fir Park touchline with Kevin Thelwell and Patrick Stewart as and Sky Sports pundit James McFadden reckons the crux of the discussion may well have been over outgoings rather than incomings.

The Scotland legend said: "Do you think, the question is always asked, will you get more more players in? Do you think he's actually maybe saying 'we need to get a lot of these out'
And that drew an emotive response from Kris Boyd, who replied:"100 per cent. Rangers problem now, the squad is bloated, there are far, far too many players there."
