A Dubliner has woken up €500,000 richer after scooping the top prize in last night's EuroMillions Plus draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw from Centra, North Terenure Road, Dublin 6. The latest EuroMillions Plus top prize win brings the total number of EuroMillions Plus wins of €500,000 to 22 so far in 2025.
The winning numbers in last night's EuroMillions Plus draw were: 16, 20, 38, 41 and 50. Darragh O'Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson said: 'While there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot, over 39,000 players in Ireland won prizes in both the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws, with our Dublin player taking the top prize of €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw.
"This is Dublin's 6th EuroMillions Plus top prize win of 2025, and the 22nd EuroMillions Plus win so far this year." The National Lottery is urging all players in the Dublin area to check their tickets carefully and if you're holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of your prize.

Here is everything you need to know for the month of July: Social welfare Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance The Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance (BSCFA) have opened this month. Some people will automatically qualify for the scheme, with the Department of Social Protection (DSP) expected to let you know if this is the case using your MyWelfare account, or by post. If you don't hear from the DSP by the end of June, you must apply for BSCFA online, even if you got the BSCFA payment last year. Payments for the schemes will begin being made from the week starting Monday, 14 July. If your child is aged between four and 11 on 30 September, you could qualify for a cash boost of €160, whereas, if your child is aged between 12 and 22, you may receive €285. Carer's Allowance Carer's Allowance is a weekly social welfare payment to people who care for someone because of their: Age Disability, or Illness (including mental illness) To qualify for the payment, your income must be below a certain amount. If you care for two or more people, your rate of Carer's Allowance is increased by 50% (maximum) each week. If you get another social welfare payment, you may get half-rate Carer's Allowance. In July 2025, the Carer's Allowance income disregard will increase to €625 for a single person and €1,250 for a couple. You can find out more information here. Bills Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) for commercial electric vehicles An emissions-based approach to VRT for category B commercial vehicles is being introduced from 1 July 2025. This will introduce a lower 8% rate for category B vehicles with CO2 emissions of less than 120 grams per kilometre and vehicles with CO2 emissions greater than 120g/km will be at 13.3%. Rent Pressure Zones From 20 June 2025, all private and student-specific accommodation tenancies in Ireland now come under Rent Pressure Zone (RPZ) rules. landlords can increase rent once a year by either the rate of inflation or by 2%, whichever is lowest. The National Lottery has issued one final, desperate appeal to the public as a Lotto jackpot winner has just hours left to claim their life-changing prize. A Daily Million plus player is sitting on a winning ticket worth a jaw-dropping €500,000 prize, but the punter has just hours left to collect their winnings before they become null and void. The life-changing sum was won in the 2pm draw Daily Millions Plus draw on Friday, March 28, with Lotto bosses revealing that the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Tesco in Stillorgan Shopping Centre in Stillorgan, Co Dublin, on the day of the draw. The winning Daily Million Plus (2pm on Friday, March 28) numbers were: 17, 22, 23, 25, 30, 37 and the bonus was 32. Ticket holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, which means the Dubliner has until 5pm today (Thursday, June), to claim. If the prizes are not claimed within 90 days of the draw date, they will go to promote the National Lottery which in turn will increase the funds raised for Good Causes.
