Heidi Klum 'doesn't worry about age-shaming'

Perth Now4 days ago
Heidi Klum thinks society has become "more welcoming of wrinkles".
The 52-year-old model has suggested that attitudes towards ageing have changed in recent years, observing that it's now "okay to be older".
Heidi told People: "I feel like we're more welcoming of wrinkles and rolls on our body. Being accepted at every age is amazing. That we've changed and come all that way."
Heidi doesn't have any fears of "age-shaming or body-shaming".
She shared: "For me to be older, it doesn't matter. I don't have this age-shaming or body-shaming thing. I feel like everyone should do what they want to do. I like to run around sexy — even now at 52."
Heidi actually loves posting sexy photos of herself on social media.
The model suggested that she's been posting so-called thirst traps since before social media was invented.
She said: "I've been photographing nude or in lingerie since 1992, way before Instagram.
"So for me, it's nothing new. For the past 15 years, other people are now doing what I've been doing for 30 years. Instead of being in my little bottoms in a magazine, I'm on Instagram. It's the same thing."
The model has also encouraged other women to not "hide" once they reach 50.
She said: "The biggest misconception [about] being in your 50s is that you are off the shelf. You're not off the shelf. We are very much on that shelf for everyone to see.
"Don't hide in your 50s. Beauty is ever-changing, and I'm here for the change. If it's always the same, life is boring."
Heidi is married to 35-year-old musician Tom Kaulitz, and she previously described her husband as a "great man".
The model also rubbished criticism of their age gap.
Asked why it's such a big issue for so many people, Heidi told Glamour magazine: "I think it's often just spitefulness.
"Perhaps many people also think I've had too much luck in life. I have a great job, I get to travel the world, I can buy expensive things. And now I've also got myself such a great man."

Tyra Banks makes shocking confession about ‘disgusting and erotic' addiction

Don't miss out on the headlines from TV. Followed categories will be added to My News. Tyra Banks knows how to pick 'em. The supermodel revealed her 'disgusting and erotic' habit of popping pimples and picking dirt from other people's toes during Thursday's episode of US show Today With Jenna & Friends. 'I like to pick. I like the toe, and if it has some stuff in it, I don't mind digging it out,' Banks, who is co-hosting this week, told Jenna Bush Hager. 'But I have a kit. You have to have a kit. Some alcohol, you know. Some stuff!' Banks shocked with her "disgusting" addiction. Picture: Supplied When Bush Hager asked who she targets with these rituals, the America's Next Top Model alum admitted that anyone in her household is fair game, reports Page Six. 'Anyone that wants it — my mum, my friends, my man, my son,' Banks confessed, referencing her beau, Louis Bélanger-Martin. 'And then, a pimple? If you had a pimple, I would be staring at you.' Banks labelled her 'addiction' as 'disgusting and erotic at the same time,' explaining, 'It touches those parts of me.' Banks at a tennis event during the Australian Open in January. Picture: Tennis Australia/ Fiona Hamilton However, the TV personality, 51, does have her limits. 'Nether regions. I'm not picking up in those,' Banks said. 'If somebody's like, 'Oh, can you check this?' I'm like, 'No … that's where I draw the line.' Chest up and knees down? It's on. I'm not popping and picking nothing [outside of] there.' The model further grossed out Bush Hager as she explained that her foot-focused obsession can get quite stinky at times. 'The toenail, because there's been stuff in there. The jam. The toe jam is up in the nail, and then you pick, and sometimes it's different colours. Sometimes it's brown, sometimes it's green,' she described. She's known for her glamorous appearance. Picture: Instagram. Banks has been romantically linked to Canadian businessman Bélanger-Martin since August 2018. In November 2019, we exclusively reported that the pair was taking the next step in their relationship by moving in together. 'Tyra and Louis live together but Louis always moves around a lot for business reasons,' an insider told us, adding that he and his ex-wife, Valérie Martin Scraire, have an apartment in England, a house in Barbados, and a home in Magog, Quebec. 'Louis also spends some time with his own child in England and around the world for business,' said the source. 'Tyra's child has his own room at Louis [and] Valerie's house in Magog and Tyra moved some of her stuff — clothes, jewellery — there too.' Forrestdale A cafe on a farm full of cubby houses, a climbing wall and lots of animals to feed? This is kid and adult heaven all wrapped up. When you're done feeding the farm animals you can feed yourself with their delicious menu that goes far beyond kiddie stuff. Think miso tofu ochazuke and twice-cooked Wagin duck leg. You'll be stuffed, the kids will be exhausted — win-win. Kings Park The playground opposite Koorak cafe. Credit: Instagram / TheWest This great little cafe in the Poolgarla Family Area of Kings Park is adjacent to some serious playground action, which is especially good if you have slightly older kids you can watch from a distance while lingering over a coffee. Their menu is full of cafe classics and they are licensed, too. North Perth Maybe don't descend on this tiny cafe with your entire mothers group, as squeezing in a pram would take some doing. But if you want to stay central, grab some breakfast and have a toddler in tow, Hank's is where to go. This cute-as cafe has a great little play area with Duplo and a few little toys and books to keep them entertained while you enjoy their excellent coffee. Bassendean Holly Rayes cafe. Credit: Instagram This cute cafe claims to be Basso's most kid and pet-friendly cafe, which means it's also pretty good for grown-ups with either of those things in their custody. With a mini play kitchen and seating separate to the main cafe, this is a great spot to meet with friends with kids (and pets). Balcatta Little T's in Balcatta.
