The dark knight rises, and so does Christian Bale for his family.
The Oscar winner made a rare outing with wife Sibi Blazic to catch their 20-year-old daughter Luka Bale walk in Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Moda fashion show in Rome July 14.
Dressed in an all-black suit, Bale arrived to the event holding hands with Blazic, who he married in 2000. Meanwhile, their 11-year-old son Rex Bale—also dressed in a dark suit with a matching shirt—followed closely behind.
The family of four went on to snap a group photo—published by Just Jared—with designer Domenico Dolce, who was also seen clad in black with his signature wide-rimmed glasses.
And it's not often that Bale is out at a public event with his children. After all, the 51-year-old is notoriously private about his brood—with many fans mistakenly believing that his son was named Joseph for years.
Instead, the tween was credited as "Rex Bale" for his cameo in his dad's 2022 Marvel movie Thor: Love and Thunder.
Likewise, the public only found out about Luka's name when she was credited as such in Bale's 2016 racing film Ford v Ferrari. She also made a brief appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder, before making her modeling debut with Dolce & Gabbana in 2021.
"She's a little rascal," Bale said of his daughter in a 2012 interview with British GQ. "I'm not going to miss her growing up for anything, not even for Batman."
The Dark Knight alum added, "I'm certainly not going to be one of those fathers who picks up a photo of his daughter and has regrets about not being around."

"His name isn't Joseph," Bale's rep confirmed to Entertainment Tonight in May 2024. "That was made up by the internet."

Now we know if Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez made their wedding guests sign NDAs

Attendee Sara Foster just spilled new details about the billionaire couple's over-the-top Venice nuptials. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's Venetian wedding extravaganza made global headlines for its over-the-top scale, celebrity guest list, and parade of paparazzi gathering all the details in Venice throughout the days-long events, not to mention the protest movement it triggered against billionaire tourism in a city already plagued with overtourism-related issues. But one detail had remained unclear, until now. On the latest episode of The World's First Podcast, actress and model Sara Foster, who attended the June wedding, confirmed that guests were not asked to sign nondisclosure agreements. 'Absolutely not. There were no... no one signed NDAs,' she told her sister and cohost, Erin Foster. Foster emphasized that despite the media frenzy, the event itself felt more personal than people might assume. 'It actually felt very intimate,' she said, pushing back on some of the widespread perceptions of the affair. Read more: Jeff Bezos' wedding ignited a protest movement in Venice — why locals are fed up with billionaire tourism Foster also acknowledged the tense public reaction some guests have faced just for attending. 'You can't say anything anymore without being attacked,' she said, referring to 'polarizing' responses to her Instagram posts about the weekend — especially the Monique Lhuillier dresses she wore for the festivities. 'I guess I'm stupid,' she joked, 'but it really didn't occur to me people would take issue with going to a wedding.' While the guest list included over 200 names, Foster noted that many attendees 'were not photographed' — though she declined to spill names. 'I mean, that's, like, so lame. I'm not gonna do that,' she said. The wedding was far from low-key. Local officials in Venice estimated a $1.1 billion economic impact — mainly attributed to the dollar value of the publicity around it. Protesters, meanwhile, made their feelings known with signs and banners plastered across historic landmarks like the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square, reading 'No Space for Bezos.' Yes, the whole world was watching, of course. But as Foster tells it, guests weren't contractually obligated to help control the narrative. The man who jumped from space has died in a paragliding crash

A daredevil stuntman who set a world record more than decade ago for the highest-ever skydive has died in a paragliding accident in Italy. Felix Baumgartner, 56, crashed to the ground near a hotel swimming pool during a flight over Porto Sant'Elpidio in the eastern Marche region of the country on Thursday. Recommended Videos It's not currently clear if the motorized paraglider suffered an issue during the flight or if Baumgartner experienced a sudden health issue. Red Bull, which had close ties with Baumgartner, said in a statement: 'We are shocked and overwhelmed with sadness to hear the devastating news of our longtime friend Felix Baumgartner. Felix was 'born to fly' and was determined to push the limits. He was also smart, professional, thorough, and meticulous, never leaving anything to chance. He was generous, giving much of his time to help and inspiring so many people.' The Austrian thrill-seeker made international headlines in 2012 after leaping from a high-altitude balloon at the edge of space and parachuting back to Earth. After hearing of his tragic death, World of Engineering posted a video of the moment Baumgartner began his breathtaking descent. 'sometimes… you have to get up really high… to understand how small your are. I'm ~ coming ~ home ~ now' — Felix Baumgartner — World of Engineering (@engineers_feed) July 17, 2025 The extraordinary stunt smashed a string of records, including the highest-ever jump — from an altitude of 128,097 feet (24.2 miles) — and the fastest freefall, reaching a top speed of 843 mph (1,357 kmh). During the first 20 seconds of his descent, there were real fears for Baumgartner's safety as he started to spin out of control. Fortunately, he was able to maintain consciousness and control his fall, prompting applause from his team on the ground. 'Fearless Felix,' as he was known, had a thirst for adventure throughout his life, with his stunts including leaping from the hand of Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer statue, jumping from the Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia, and flying across the English Channel with a specially-made jumpsuit with carbon-fiber wings. Since news of his death broke on Thursday, fans of the extreme sportsman have been leaving comments on his X and Instagram accounts. One wrote: 'Fly high you incredible aviation legend. You have been an inspiration to us all, defying everything that people thought was possible,' while another said simply: 'Today is a sad day. Rest in peace, legend.'

You Can Still Secure Tickets to Lady Gaga's Mayhem Ball Tour

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Lady Gaga's Mayhem Ball Tour is officially underway. Supporting her chart-topping album, Gaga is hitting cities across North America, Europe, and the U.K., marking her first full arena tour since 2018. 'There's something electric about a stadium, and I love every moment of those shows,' Gaga shared in a statement. 'But with The Mayhem Ball, I wanted to create a different kind of experience—something more intimate, closer, more connected—that lends itself to the live theatrical art I love to create.' Gaga wasn't initially planning to tour this year, but as she explained on Instagram, the enthusiasm from fans was overwhelming. 'The incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going. We chose arenas this time to give me the opportunity to control the details of the show in a way you simply can't in stadiums—and honestly, I can't wait.' The Mayhem Ball kicked off on July 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will travel to Seattle, New York, Miami, Toronto, and Chicago, before heading overseas with stops including London, Milan, Berlin, and Paris. The tour wraps up on November 20. On April 15, Gaga announced she would be expanding the tour with 13 additional performances due to high demand, including extra shows in major cities across North America and Europe. On April 22, she revealed seven more stops have been added to the tour, expanding the North American leg even further. Fans in California can now catch her in San Francisco for three nights, as well as four in Los Angeles. Fans can expect Gaga's signature theatricality, paired with the album's themes of embracing personal chaos and radical self-acceptance. As Gaga told ELLE in her February 2025 cover story, creating Mayhem was 'about following your own chaos into whatever cranny of your life that it takes you to.' She further explained, 'Part of the message of even the first song on the album is that your demons are with you in the beginning and they are with you in the end, and I don't mean it in a bleak way. Maybe we can make friends sooner with this reality instead of running all the time.' Gaga also emphasized that the album 'breaks a lot of rules and has a lot of fun.'
