The Qatari equestrian team and Al Shaqab Academy riders continued to excel in international competitions with outstanding results in the second Summer Showjumping Festival held in the Dutch city of Valkenswaard. The competitions witnessed a significant Qatari presence, with many young and junior riders demonstrating their high skills and advanced technical levels in various competition categories ranging from heights 60cm to 110cm. The participation came as part of the riders' preparation plans for the new season, and to gain further experience through interaction with competitors in high-level international championships. In the 110cm star category, Mohammed Faisal Al Marri and Ahmed Ali Al Jaber excelled, delivering strong performances that reflected their technical preparedness. Fahad Mansour Al Mahmoud also stood out in the 110cm event. In the 100cm category, riders Al Qaqaa bin Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Abdullah Mohammed Al Marri, Sultan Jassim Al Suwaidi, Abdullah Ahmed Al Mesifry, Khalid Jassim Al Suwaidi, Abdullah Ahmed Al Khulaifi, Yousef Abdulrahman Al Muftah, and Ali Omar Al Ansari all achieved excellent results demonstrating promising technical performances that confirm the development of their training levels. The 80cm event also saw the active participation of a number of Qatari riders, including Ghanem Thamer Khalifa Al Muadheed, Hamad Mohammed Al Marri, Salman Faisal Al Marri, Issa Abdullah Al Ghanem, and Tamim Ghanem Al Muadheed, who displayed remarkable discipline and confidence on the competition track. Two riders, Salman Faisal Al Marri and Hessa Al Jaber, also excelled in the 60cm event. These results reflect the efforts of Qatar Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon Federation and Al Shaqab Academy to nurture talent and to hone their skills. (QNA)
