You should know by name our achilles heel is a great bag, specifically a designer bag. But, lo and behold our budget does not allow such luxuries, so we turn to affordable alternatives instead.
We have found high end looking bags from M&S, as well as other high street retailers, such as River Island and Mango. But, there is a new piece of arm candy we are desperately waiting for – Tu's Belted Bag.
Tu's Belted Bag, which has launched today for £20, is already the bag we want to take everywhere! From the office to post-work drinks, date night dinners, shopping sprees, and as hand luggage for our next vacation.
Effortlessly chic and endlessly practical, this black faux leather bag is your new everyday essential. Crafted with a luxe finish, it features multiple compartments to keep your life organised on the go. The roomy interior fits all your daily must-haves, while the adjustable strap and dual handles let you wear it your way. Finished with belted accents for that elevated, polished touch. Buy Now for £20
If you think the Belted Bag looked familiar, you'd be right as the classic silhouette previously launched at Sainsbury's, but it has been modified ahead of the upcoming launch. More Trending
The sculptural design features winged opening, which means you can fit even more inside than you assume. It features a short top handle that can be clasped in the hands, or worn over the arm. However, it also features a long cross-body strap so you can wear the bag over the shoulder on the long strap or across the body.
The bag comes in a sleek black colourway and features a belt around the top with gold accents for a sleek finish.
The bag is super stylish, versatile and affordable. But the best part is it looks very similar to DeMellier's The Midi New York Bag, which also boasts a winged silhouette, buckle and gold accent detail around the centre, as well as a short and long strap. However, it retails for £445, which means you could save £245 on your accessory.
The Belted Bag can be worn day and night, and for all occasions, which is why we are counting down the days until we can shop the 'It' bag of the season.

McDonald's won't be bringing these massive boxes of fries to the UK

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video You can't order a Maccies without fries. We don't make the rules, but the fact is, no Big Mac or Quarter Pounder meal is complete without them. Fry-loving Brits were at risk of some serious FOMO this week though, as McDonald's Malaysia launched an XXL version of the classic side dish. To celebrate International French Fry Day, the chain dropped the Fan Fries Meal, which featured a gargantuan box of chips as the main event. This promotional portion size looks like the equivalent of three large fries smushed together in an extended cardboard container. And if that wasn't enough for you, it comes with a drink and a side (of fries, no less) as well. It's safe to say people were excited for the meal to drop — there was even a countdown to it in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur's busy retail district. But if you were thinking of booking a flight to Asia to get your hands on it, you're unfortunately too late. The XXL fries were only available between July 11 and July 13, meaning unless you were in Malaysia, you'll have just missed out. In even more devastating news, McDonald's has confirmed to Metro that there aren't any plans to introduce this in the UK. So if you want a huge serving of lightly-salted goodness, you'll have to order a few boxes separately. Fast food fans were left with their mouths watering when the creation was shared on X. Its description as a shareable portion also appeared to be up for debate, with many claiming they could demolish the whole box without any help. 'This is a much more efficient way of ordering for me,' @razacodes joked. 'Now I don't have to buy four large fries.' 'I can finish this by myself,' added @FlairFantasy, while @LaPetiteADA asked: 'Why didn't they come up with this before?' More Trending However, others were less on board with such humungous helpings, including one commenter who dubbed the invention 'criminal'. For UK McDonald's customers gutted to have missed out, hopefully news of new menu item will quell your sadness: the Double Filet-O-Fish, which dropped on July 1. The burger, which costs £5.29, features not one but two pollock fish patties in crispy breadcrumbs, along with melted cheese and tartare sauce inside a steamed bun. Brits raced to get their hands on it, with those who tried it hailing it as 'perfect', 'truly amazing', 'the best' and 'worth the wait'. Do you have a story to share? I really didn't expect to get past the first round, let alone win. There have been incredible acts at each stage who I thought would have gone through ahead of me. I'm also really happy for Eric Meat. He deserves some good luck. Strikes me as quite a lonely fellow, and the wonderful crowds at Dabbers have shown him such much-needed love. Thanks to everyone involved.' Dabbers Bingo MD Jonny Unknown added 'What a night! Possibly my favourite final we've ever had at the Comedy Caller Contest. The competition was super tight and the steaks were high (pun absolutely intended). But Eric Meat absolutely brought his A-game and upped the ante! His comedy timing, bingo lingo, and masterful mix of meaty puns and songs kept the audience laughing, dancing, and fully engaged all night long. A well-deserved win!' ‘Very high profile' star stopped by M&S security after being caught eating food without paying

A MYSTERY 'very high profile' celebrity has been called out by Ryan Thomas for an awkward incident in M&S. The former Corrie star appeared on the latest episode of his podcast alongside his brothers, Adam and Scott, discussing everything from train disasters to what kind of underwear they prefer. 4 4 However, during the chat, as the group spoke about the annoyance of self-checkout tills, Ryan shared that he had heard about a star who had been caught red-handed munching on produce in the middle of the store without buying it. "There is somebody that is very high profile, that was walking round M&S - I'm never going to mention their name, but it's a great story," he said. "He was walking around eating the mandarin oranges in M&S and the security guy came up to this person and said 'you can't eat them until you've paid for them'. "And this person said 'oh, i'm so sorry i've never done that before' and he went 'Yes you have... you've been doing it for the last six weeks!' "He went 'how do you know that' and he said 'because we watch you on camera every single week doing the same thing!'" "I can't tell you who, but it's a great story," Ryan concluded, later defending the star to his brothers by saying he was going to pay for them anyway. "I imagine some people don't though," noted Adam, to which Ryan joked it was a "try before you buy" situation. Ryan made sure not to give away anything too revealing about the star, not even using pronouns to identify them as a male or female, or how high profile he actually meant. The trio launched their podcast At Home With The Thomas Bros last month, with all three discussing anything on their minds that week as well as giving insights into their family lives. The launch came after Ryan and Adam landed their biggest gig yet as the host of a new ITV gameshow, 99 To Beat. His daughter, Scarlett, has also launched a career to follow her dad and mum – Corrie star Tina O'Brien – into the spotlight, shooting back at claims she's a nepo baby. Rather than ignore the tag, 16-year-old Scarlett is embracing the tag, and in April declared in a TikTok: "God forbid a girl takes the chances she gets.' She landed her first acting job playing Izzy Charles in BBC drama Waterloo Road at the age of 14, staring alongside her uncle Adam. However, in an exclusive interview with The Sun, Ryan was keen to note that she is making a career on her own merit. 'Everyone thinks she gets a lift up from family, getting on Waterloo Road," he told us. "But she worked damn hard to get that job, and people need to recognise that she's a talented girl – she's up against other people and she's not getting a free ride. 'She has to go through the same process as everyone else – it was between her and somebody else. It wasn't like, 'This is a Thomas, she's going to get this job'.' 4 4
