Swimming safety advice
Experts have revealed some of their top advice for both adults and kids heading to the water this summer:
How to stay safe at the beach
Gareth Morrison, Head of Water Safety at the RNLI said: "If you find yourself being swept out to sea in a rip, try to relax and float until you are free from the rip and you can then swim to safety.
"If you see someone else in danger, alert a lifeguard or call 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard."
How to stay safe at the swimming pool
Tiny Hearts Education, former paramedic and CEO Nikki Jurcutz said: "Always put your little one in bright or contrasting colours that would be easy to find in an emergency.
"It only takes 20 seconds to drown, little tips like this could save a life".
An Auqabliss spokesperson added: 'Swimming toys such as noodles, dive rings, floaties and beach balls can be dangerous if left in the pool.
'Children may try to grab these from the pool's edge and fall in."
How to stay safe at a waterpark
Ali Beckman, Puddle Ducks Technical Director, said: "Never send a child down the slide on their own, not only are they going to be entering the slide pool area independently, they then have to exit the pool and wait for an adult.
"And wave pools should be avoided until your child is really confident with water going over their faces and you know they are able to regain their feet independently.
'Waterparks are often very busy places and it's easy to lose sight of a child in a split second."
Summer Splash is set to be a pretty perfect place for the entire family.

In the midst of their trip, the former I'm A Celebrity champion confirmed that she had "major news" to share and soon some fans began to speculate that a pregnancy announcement was afoot. In one of her photos, Georgia could be seen salmon fishing in a lake and was wrapped up tightly under some waterproof dungarees in order to keep herself warm in the cold country. But these layers appeared to give Georgia a 'baby bump' which left her followers convinced her major news was baby related. Commenting underneath the snaps, one curious fan asked the star: "Are you pregnant?" The Made in Chelsea star's husband was quick to step in and respond to shut down any speculation of a pregnancy. He replied back to the fan: "I don't think she is." It turned out that Georgia's news was actually related to her catching her first Atlantic salmon after failing to do so in three countries previously. The couple were joined by their two black Labradors for their low-key holiday. Georgia married the millionaire Brewdog founder in Scotland earlier this year. Georgia Toffolo strikes glamorous looks as she visits Cheltenham races The ceremony took place in Gardenstown, Aberdeenshire. Scots beer tycoon James, 42, revealed some details of their wedding day, including that they got married in the same church that his grandparents tied the knot in. He also said their ring bearer was their pet spaniel. Similar to their current trip, the couple headed aboard a fishing boat shortly after the ceremony. The pair posted pics of onboard a fishing boat, with Georgia donning a cosy strapless wedding dress. The off-shoulder fur dress was ideal for embracing the northeast weather. While James harked back to his fisherman roots, as he donned a wool sailor's jumper and a pair of blue WADERS! James and Georgia posed for the snaps onboard a fishing boat and even held lobsters in some snaps. In other pics James scooped his new bride into his arms, hugging her and clutching her side as she sat on the railings. 5 The reality TV star is currently in Iceland Credit: Instagram

"You are in my house - can you leave it now please. Thank you, it's over," he said. "You are in my house. It's gone past 10pm and this is a terrible racket." A church staff member then asked the crowd to leave which triggered boos. The choir didn't leave without playing one last song, however. They sang an Acappella version of ABBA's Dancing Queen before stepping down. Benedict Collins, who was there with his 10-year-old daughter, told Sky News he thought the bishop was joking at first. "This work deserves respect, not to be disparaged as a 'terrible racket'," he slammed. A spokesperson for the Diocese of London told The Guardian: "Bishop Jonathan reached out to the organisers on Saturday to apologise for his late-night appearance at the concert, which he now understands had overrun due to technical difficulties."

Chloe Kelly's husband's normal day job and key role it played in Lioness star romance

England star Chloe Kelly offered a rare insight into her marriagr and private life with husband Scott Moore before the Lionesses won the Euros England forward Chloe Kelly made headlines during the Women's Euros 2025 - not just for her on-pitch performance, but for a touching personal moment that offered fans a rare glimpse into her private life. ‌ As she prepared to come off the bench during a tournament match, cameras captured Chloe, 27, revealing custom shin pads featuring a photo from her wedding day. The romantic detail thrust her husband, Scott Moore, into the spotlight despite his typically low profile and desire to keep out of the public eye. ‌ Chloe and her husband Scott first met when she was playing for Everton and he was working as a groundsman. The pair connected after Kelly held a door open for him. 'He went on to message her on Instagram,' the couple previously shared. ‌ Their first date was far from glamorous but for Chloe, it was her most memorable first date ever. 'We got a little monkey and every time I see it, it reminds me of when we went to IKEA,' Kelly previously revealed as she reflected on the early stages of their relationship. The couple became engaged in December 2023 during a trip to Finnish Lapland. Moore proposed during a private husky ride beneath the Northern Lights. 'The easiest yes ever,' Kelly wrote in an Instagram post at the time. ‌ In July 2024, the pair were married in a ceremony at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire. Kelly wore a custom gown by Galia Lahav's Elysee line, described as a form-fitting lace design with a dramatic train. ' Creating Chloe's dress was a labour of love, capturing her vibrant spirit and timeless beauty,' said designer Sharon Sever. Her look was completed with a matching veil and Jimmy Choo heels. ‌ With their first anniversary coinciding with the Euros, Kelly admitted she hadn't yet made plans to mark the occasion. 'I haven't even got a card, to be honest,' she said ahead of the tournament. 'I'm sure in the moment, I'll think of something and get my mum to sort it.' She added: 'But no, we are just taking it each game as it comes and we've got a huge game coming up and we know that we need to be at our best for that, so not looking too far ahead. I'm sure Scott has, but I definitely haven't.' Before joining the England camp, Kelly and Moore took a short break in a seaside villa alongside teammate Gabby George, who is the cousin of Jesse Lingard, and her partner. ‌ The two couples enjoyed a final moment of relaxation before a packed summer of football in Switzerland. Chloe is currently celebrating the Lionesses huge win at the Euros over the weekend. And for Sarina Wiegman, it is a third successive European title, having won with England in 2021 and Netherlands in 2017. ‌ For her players, it is a second straight success, and a revenge mission accomplished against world champs Spain. The players celebrated into the night in Switzerland, starting the part on the pitch with fans after collecting their medals before heading into the bowels of the stadium in Basel to begin the party with pizza and beers. ‌ Lucy Bronze revealed she'd been playing through the tournament with a broken leg - but that wouldn't be stopping her from enjoying their success. 'I'll do some more dancing," said head coach Wiegman. "I'll have a drink but I don't think I'll drink as much as the players will do."
