Prince Harry's team bites back after claims William could 'banish' Sussexes

Daily Mirror20-07-2025
Prince Harry's team has rejected claims he's now 'seriously worried' about being exiled from the UK when his brother Prince William takes to the throne in later years
Prince Harry's team has bitten back at claims he is 'seriously worried' about being exiled from the UK by his brother Prince William when he takes the throne. "Harry is seriously worried that when his father dies one day, William will literally banish him and he will have no status in Britain at all,' said royal author Tom Bower in a recent interview with the Mirror.

But Harry's team rubbished the claims and a spokesperson said Harry retains a desire to reconnect with his family following a long-running and very public feud. Harry continues to live in the US with his wife Meghan Markle.

'It's funny how the people who know the least about him always have the most to say,' the spokesperson told GB News. Recently, Harry himself said he would 'love reconciliation' with his family. 'There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious,' the Duke of Sussex said.

Of the feud with his father King Charles III, Harry said that disagreements regarding his security when he is in the UK has left the two not being on speaking terms.
Harry's level of security changed in 2020 when he and Meghan stepped down as working royals and moved to California for financial and personal freedom, and he suggested the royal family and officials hoped his realisation of the increased safety risk 'would force us to come back'. The duke failed in an appeal against the dismissal of his High Court claim against the Home Office, over the decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC) that he should receive a different degree of protection when in the UK.

Harry, a father of two, said he wants the feud to end because he "does not know how much longer my father has".
Harry said he has now 'forgiven' his family. But he added: "I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point."
Some steps have been taken to close the rift. The Sussexes' chief communications officer Meredith Maines and their UK PR chief Liam Maguire were seen with communication secretary for the King, Tobyn Andreae. Photos of the meeting at the Royal Over-Seas League near Clarence House were obtained by the Mail on Sunday, which cited an insider saying there were "things both sides wanted to talk about" but no 'formal agenda' for the talks. The Mail reports that it is not known which side initiated the meeting.
The rift between the Sussexes and the royal family widened significantly following their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which they alleged a member of the family was concerned about their son Archie's skin tone before he was born.
Then the duke claimed in his controversial memoir, Spare, his brother the Prince of Wales had physically attacked him and that the King put his own interests above Harry's and was jealous of Meghan.

Diversity star makes unlikely cameo in Bonnie Blue's new Channel 4 documentary

One Diversity star made a quick cameo in Bonnie Blue's new Channel 4 documentary in the form of a throwback photo Diversity star Ashley Banjo made an unlikely appearance in Channel 4's new documentary about adult film star Bonnie Blue's life. The adult star became one of the most controversial figures on the internet after encouraging "barely legal" teens to sleep with her in X-rated content she films and profits from, and her content continues to become more and more extreme. ‌ A new Channel 4 documentary, titled "1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story", was recently released and has exposed the often lonely reality of earning millions of pounds while being ostracised. During the documentary, dancer Ashley appeared in a form of a photo where he was seen with his arm around a younger Bonnie. ‌ The photo appeared while the porn star's mum discussed her passion for dance when she was younger. Ashley's name wasn't mentioned in the segment but the picture was clearly showed her past love of dance. It comes after one Mirror writer claimed 'the new Bonnie Blue documentary may be the worst thing I've ever seen on Channel 4'. ‌ Her mum also reminisced about the time Bonnie and her then dance partner won a runners-up trophy in a dancing competition. During the documentary, viewers hear from Bonnie's ex-husband Oliver Davidson for the first time. She revealed it was actually Oliver, or Ollie as he's known to Tia, who encouraged her to move into sex work. ‌ "I met Ollie when I was like 14, 15," she explains in the show. "We got married really young. Pretty, quite intimate wedding, nothing crazy, nothing over the top. Then we relocated to Australia shortly afterwards. "Ollie was beyond supportive, he gave me the confidence to do OnlyFans. And it wasn't because he wanted to pimp me out, he just wanted me to be happy and have control of my life. And obviously the money was good as well." Her ex gushed about Bonnie's sex stunts with the public and even said he's proud of her and her work. He said: "She really connects with the fans. ‌ "Most people, if they do porn, they seem out of reach. You're never going to meet them. You're never going to be able to film with them. "Whereas Bonnie puts a location online, and then obviously her fans can actually film with her. It's like a defining moment in porn, where she's completely changed the game." ‌ In a recent interview, Bonnie explained why things didn't work between the couple. She told the Daily Mail that they broke up some time before she moved back to the UK from Australia in 2024, and that Ollie returned before her. Bonnie also discussed her fears after admitting she last went out by herself six months ago as it is "not that safe". 'I get 100s of death threats a day, so it is not that safe when I walk around," she said. "I say, 'It is going to happen at some point, someone will come and give me stick' and fair play to her, at least they are getting up off their sofa. My worst one is acid, if someone did acid, and I could see some spiteful girl doing that.'

Liam Neeson 'madly in love' with Pamela Anderson as couple spark romance rumours

The pair star together in the new Naked Gun film. The tight connection between Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson has sparked global speculation as the duo remain tight-lipped about whether romance is blossoming between them. ‌ However, it appears the signs were there as early as last year when the Taken actor openly proclaimed his affection for the former Baywatch beauty. Speaking to People magazine, Liam, 73, openly admitted to being "madly in love" with the mother of two, reports the Mirror. ‌ During the chat, he revealed: "With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her." ‌ He continued: "She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film." Responding to his praise, Pamela, who became a pin-up sensation during her iconic run on the nineties hit Baywatch, described him as "the perfect gentleman". ‌ She continued: "He brings out the best in respect, kindness, and depth of experience. It was an absolute honour to work with him." Whilst the pair have been cautious to focus solely on their professional partnership, Pamela accidentally revealed their connection extended beyond the workplace when she mentioned preparing meals for him. In May, she disclosed: "I also baked my sourdough bread for therapy and regularly shared with him [Liam], along with cookies and muffins." She revealed that she would leave her homemade treats in his dressing room. The pair also socialised beyond the film set. ‌ She went on: "We had many dinners out with the cast. I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming." Their undeniable connection was evident when they attended The Naked Gun premiere in both London and Berlin. At the London premiere, Pamela sparked romance rumours when she gave Liam a kiss on the cheek. ‌ However, it was during their Berlin promotional tour that really got people talking when they recreated the famous Titanic scene. On social media, Pamela and Liam's tight friendship was obvious as they larked about on a boat. In the clip shared with followers, Pamela channelled Rose, portrayed by Kate Winslet, whilst Liam supported her waist in the style of Jack, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Pamela looked stunning in a green dress paired with a coordinating neck scarf. She wrote alongside the footage: "From the London to Berlin... this tour has been full of smiles, laughter, and so much love... Thank you to everyone who came out to giggle with us (and watch on the big screen). NYC next!"
