‘You might never get the opportunity again' – Hibs boss urges stars to relish sell-out Easter Road against Midtjylland
Club chiefs confirmed more than 18,500 home fans will take in their Europa League crunch after last week's gutsy 1-1 draw with Danes Midtjylland in Herning.

Now Gray is desperately hoping his side can find the win they need to book a tie against Norwegians Fredrikstad.
Hibs haven't lost at home since November, but asked if his message will be to not let down a bumper crowd, Gray said: 'Not so much. It's more not letting yourself down.
'You need to take a personal pride into it. These are the games, it's why you do it.
'You might never get the opportunity to do these things again.
'We're under no illusion that the task is going to be huge but go and enjoy it as well, you need to embrace it.
'It's been touched on, some of the big teams we've managed to beat at Easter Road.
'And this would certainly be right at the top of that list if we progress here.
'Since I've been at the club, this is as strong a connection with the fans as I've seen. They'll be right behind us. It's about constantly trying to improve. Can we keep getting better? I believe we will.'
Midtjylland battered Sonderjyske 6-2 in the league on Monday.
And as much belief as he has in his own team, Gray is also still wary of the Danes.
He said: 'They score a lot of goals, they force you to defend a lot, they've got a lot of quality players, technical players, but also physical players.

'It's a tough challenge but I tell the players all the time, when you play Rangers and Celtic with their Champions League players, it's no greater test for you as a player than to try to test yourself against the best.
'I'm no different testing myself against a top-level coach to try to learn from the first leg.'
Gray, who could have Aussie defender Lewis Miller back for Sunday's Premiership opener at Dundee, senses they have the backing of the whole of Scottish football.
He said: 'Regardless of which Scottish clubs play in Europe, you want them to do well.
'The more of us getting further the better. It can only be good for the country and the league.'
Gray, meanwhile, has accepted defeat in his bid to get Nectar Triantis back from Sunderland.
But he added: 'I'll keep an eye out to see how he gets on and wish him all the best if it's not here.

Arsenal transfer news: Why Gunners snubbed Benjamin Sesko as Thomas Partey finds new club
Arsenal are gearing up for their Premier League opener against Manchester United in less than a fortnight but Mikel Arteta's much-changed squad continues to be linked for with new additions Arsenal stars are sharpening their tools as the new season appears on the horizon with a fortnight to go before their Premier League campaign begins with a trip to Manchester United. But the Gunners continue to be linked with a deal for Crystal Palace and England star Eberechi Eze following a hectic summer in north London. That, however, may require a number of players to exit the club and reports suggest five different members of the first-team squad could potentially move on. Thomas Partey has already left as a free agent but is now set to sign a new deal in Spain. Here are the transfer tales from in and around the Emirates to keep an eye on. Partey new club Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is due to join Villarreal this summer after his contract at the Emirates expired, leaving him free to seek pastures new. Partey was keen to remain in the Champions League and that was a major factor in him choosing Villarreal, who finished fifth in Spain last term. The midfielder had been linked with moves to clubs in Europe and the Middle East throughout the season. The Athletic reported that the ex-Atletico man was in talks over staying at the Emirates but an agreement could not be reached on the terms of a deal despite the two parties trying until late in the day. Mikel Arteta could bid farewell to five of his squad before the close of the transfer window, according to the Daily Mail. Reiss Nelson is the most likely to head off amid admiring glances from Fulham and his departure would see the Gunners' wage bill trimmed by £100,000 per week. Oleksandr Zinchenko, who earns £150,000, is also for sale, while Fabio Vieira is far down the pecking order but has garnered some interest from West Ham and Albert Sambi Lokonga is another allowed to leave. Then there is Leandro Trossard, whom Arsenal want to sign a new contract but is on a shortlist of targets at Borussia Dortmund. Sesko concerns Arsenal heard "alarm bells" when deciding whether to pursue a move for Benjamin Sesko earlier this summer, according to an ESPN report. After engaging in preliminary talks with the Bundesliga outfit, Arsenal chiefs soon found that any deal for the promising forward would be too expensive for a player who has yet to realise his full potential. The story reported that there were three main reasons for a deal for Sesko setting off "alarm bells" including the mammoth fee Leipzig were requesting as well as his own personal terms. Having only had two seasons in a European top-five league - where he scored 21 goals across all competitions last season - sources said the club were wary about the mental demands Sesko would have to endure of being the player leading the Arsenal attack and whether he'd be able to handle the scrutiny.

Man Utd transfer news: Benjamin Sesko 'alarm bells' amid Rasmus Hojlund swap proposal
Manchester United's pre-season tour of the US has drawn to a close but there is no end in sight to the speculation surrounding Ruben Amorim's squad in the transfer window Manchester United remain engaged in a tug of war with Newcastle United over their attempts to sign striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig - with the Toon submitting a bid to sign the Slovenia international amid fears that they will lose Alexander Isak to Liverpool. But United remain in the race with Newcatle's opening submission some way short of Leipzig's asking price. An offer exceeding £70m is set to be required for Sesko to depart the Bundesliga side. Ruben Amorim's team wrapped up their tour of the United States on Sunday night against Everton with new signing Bryan Mbeumo handed his debut. Here are the transfer tales worth keeping an eye on as the new season appears on the horizon. Garnacho feelings Ruben Amorim said he has no hard feelings over Alejandro Garnacho 's desire to leave Old Trafford for a new challenge. Winger Garnacho fell out with Amorim after he was dropped for the Europa League final, which United lost 1-0 to Tottenham in Bilbao. In the immediate aftermath of the defeat, Garnacho criticised Amorim's decision and said he would consider his future over the summer. Amorim responded by telling £40million-rated Garnacho he was not part of his future plans and left him off United's US tour, with several other players who want out of the club. "I think with Garnacho, you can understand and you can see that he's talented, he's a really talented boy,' said Amorim. "But sometimes things don't work out and you cannot explain specifically what it is." Sesko concerns Arsenal heard "alarm bells" when deciding whether to pursue a move for Benjamin Sesko earlier this summer, according to an ESPN report. Cut-price Rasmus Manchester United have opened the door to selling Rasmus Hojlund this summer and have set an asking price of £30million for their striker. United are pursuing a new forward, with RB Leipzig's £70m-rated Benjamin Sesko their top target, although they face competition from Newcastle for his signature. Hojlund could go the other way to Leipzig, as part of a player-plus-cash swap deal with Sesko, but the Denmark international is understood to not want to go to the Bundesliga club. Last season Hojlund, who joined United from Atalanta for £72m in 2023, scored 10 goals in all competitions and just four in the Premier League, underlining the need for a more prolific striker to lead their attack.

David Gray delighted as Hibernian respond to Midtjylland loss with win at Dundee
The Easter Road boss admitted it was a 'difficult' decision to make just one change to the side that started Thursday's extra-time defeat by Midtjylland in the Europa League. However, Gray was rewarded with a strong display as Kieron Bowie's first-half double proved enough to overcome a Dee side who pulled one back through Fin Robertson. 'I'm delighted because after everything the players put in Thursday night, everybody would be looking at today's game wondering would there be a hangover, how will the players react the first time they went Thursday-Sunday,' the manager said. 'The players reacted in the best possible way with a real professional performance. I thought we controlled the game from start to finish.' Gray was heartened to see recently-capped Scotland forward Bowie get off the mark so early in the campaign after he endured an injury-disrupted first season at Hibs. 'That's the reason he was brought to the club,' he said. 'He's suited to Scottish football as well, with the physicality, he really enjoys that side to the game. 'The confidence levels will be high with the Scottish recognition as well, which is fantastic for him on a personal note, but he's working hard every day, he's getting fitter, he's getting stronger and really benefiting from a strong pre-season.' Gray was typically coy when asked about the future of defender Lewis Miller, who is understood to be close to joining Blackburn. The Australian is currently recovering from injury. 'There has been interest in him, but right now he's still a Hibs player and until he's not, my focus is on trying to get him back on the pitch as quick as we can,' he said. Dundee boss Steven Pressley said he saw some 'green shoots' of recovery against the Hibees after his side's demoralising Premier Sports Cup group-stage exit last month. However, the 51-year-old, taking charge of a match in Scotland's top flight for the first time in 15 years, felt they were 'nervy' in possession and was keen to stress the scale of the task he inherited in June. 'Almost every single goal from the team of last season was not there today,' said Pressley, whose talismanic captain Simon Murray missed out with injury. 'It's a big rebuild. I'm not trying to pull the wool over anybody's eyes. 'There's a lot of hard work ahead. We probably need another six players in to bolster the squad and it's a real challenge.'
