Ambassador of Belarus Igor Bely meets the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa
On April 17, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa, Igor Bely, met with the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Alvin Botes, on the completion of his diplomatic mission.
The parties discussed the development of Belarusian-South African relations, plans for further strengthening of political and institutional dialogue, mutually beneficial economic and scientific-technical cooperation, as well contacts in sports area.

UAE strongly condemns attack on UN Mission in CAR
Statement In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) underscored the UAE's strong condemnation of these criminal and terrorist acts, and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability. The Ministry reaffirmed that targeting UN and humanitarian missions constitutes a blatant violation of the principles of international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1701, stressing the UAE's full support for the vital role of MINUSCA in promoting security and stability in the Central African Republic. The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the victim, and to the government and people of Zambia, as well as its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured peacekeeper. The Ministry further expressed its solidarity with the United Nations and its humanitarian missions, and the countries contributing to international efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the region and worldwide.

Seychelles and Lebanon establishes Diplomatic Relations
In the spirit of promoting bilateral relations and the strengthening of friendship, the Republic of Seychelles and the Republic of Lebanon have formally established diplomatic relations through the signing of a Joint Communiqué on the 25th of June 2025. The establishment is founded on the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and respect for international law and cooperation, and will allow for the promotion of exchanges in various fields of mutual interests for the benefit of the two countries.
