Why has an icon of British music turned its attention towards Swindon?
The stand-up comedian and writer has spoken out on a number of issues close to the heart of Swindon residents in recent months, including by lending his voice to the protest against Swindon Town FC owner Clem Morfuni.
And now Ivo's most recent plea has captured the attention of one of the cornerstones of the British music industry.
On Wednesday, Ivo posted a video of himself wearing a bucket hat and a Swindon Town replica kit, telling viewers it was their "final day to voice objections to the permanent demise" of the Oasis leisure centre.
While Ivo urges the town's residents to make their voices heard, NME appears to have taken particular fascination with the comedian's moustache, stating: "Comedian Ivo Graham and his 'Nick Cave moustache' get into hot tub to fight to save Swindon leisure centre.'

The second half of the video shows him in a hot tub wearing an orange swim cap, when he said: 'As a child, about as exciting as it got was spending my weekends at the Oasis Leisure Centre where I would shriek on the water slides,
'The long future of this place is being decided this week, and it is not looking good. These places are important for the community and sport.
'If you care about Swindon or water slides, or if the soul of where you grew up is being ripped up and sold to make flats, then check out Save Oasis Swindon.'
The leisure centre already has links to another icon of British music, having inspired Liam Gallagher to change his band's name from The Rain to Oasis.
Save Oasis Swindon released a statement also asking for residents to submit objections against the plans to demolish the sports hall and not replace it.

They said: 'The Multi-Purpose Hall hosted a wide variety of sports, boxing matches, comedy acts, music and more over its nearly 50-year lifespan. Seven Capital intends to demolish it and not replace it.
"They have claimed viability but have never produced any evidence of their claims. They haven't even produced a feasibility study. Yet there is funding available from bodies like Sport England.
'The Oasis put Swindon on the map, please help to stop it becoming hemmed in by hundreds of flats and a shadow of its former self. The Oasis is a Swindon Institution and a famous site - to have an Oasis without a Hall is quite frankly unthinkable.'

Meghan Markle's As Ever Show Has a Shaky Future After Netflix Reportedly Won't Renew Her & Harry's $100M Contract
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been living a very different life since they stepped away from the British royal family in 2020. And a lot of that life has included making shows for Netflix. Their collaboration with the stream has produced With Love, Meghan, Polo, and a docuseries Harry & Meghan, with a second season of Markle's lifestyle show already filmed and set to debut later this year. But after that, will there be any more With Love, Meghan, or any other projects? The answer is uncertain after reports that the pair's Netflix deal won't be renewed when it expires in September. This is not believed to be a personal thing, but part of Netflix's strategy to move away from large, multi-project agreements. '[Netflix is] not unhappy with how things turned out,' a source told the outlet, meaning there's always a chance for more. Particularly a show like With Love, Meghan, which is not that expensive or complicated to make. Other projects, however, might not be so fortunate. The couple had announced a couple of years ago that they were producing a film adaptation of Carley Fortune's romance novel, 'Meet Me at the Lake,' for Netflix. But they have yet to hire a director or anyone for the cast, so this production seems unlikely to happen at this point. 'By this point, you would have thought they would have got a director on board and a cast. So what is the delay?' Page Six reported from a Hollywood source. 'And when you make something for Netflix, it takes a long time for it to actually hit the streamer — there is so much to do in post production, to make sure it's ready for every country. If the deal is up this year, then when is this film going to be made?' The pair was also supposed to make a documentary set in Africa, but there's no information about whether that will get made or not, either. Chances are, it won't. 'What's the betting that neither of these projects will see the light of day?' a source told the outlet. 'Let's be honest … Netflix got what they really wanted out of the Sussexes — their documentary,' said the same source. All, however, might not be lost. Reports from Page Six also indicate the couple is set to sign a first-look deal with the streamer, which, although substantially different than the deal they had before, would make sure the collaboration continues. A source told the streamer, 'There are more TV projects coming soon with both the duke and duchess.' Markle is reportedly especially interested in the lifestyle space. 'As a growing business, As ever is continuing to explore growth opportunities that feel aligned with the brand's core values and quality standards,' said a source. 'The brand continues to evolve with new products that align with her vision for quality lifestyle goods at accessible price points.' And that might include even more TV shows. First the festival, now the India Day Parade canceled for this year
Naperville's India Day Parade has been canceled, less than two months after organizers announced the festival to be held on the same day would not be happening. 'This was not an easy choice,' a social media post on the Indian Community Outreach Facebook page said. 'However, we believe that hosting a partial event would not reflect the energy, inclusivity and excellence our community has come to expect — nor would it align with ICO's mission: to Educate, Integrate, and Empower.' India Day, a daylong event featuring a parade, food, vendors, live music and other activities celebrating Aug. 15, 1947, the day India won its freedom from British rule, has been an annual Naperville event since 2015 and one that grew to be one of the largest Indian American festivals of its kind in the United States. Both the parade and fest were to be held on Aug. 10 until organizers announced in early June that the festival at Rotary Hill Park was being scratched due to growing costs and reduced funding. Only the parade would be held, event founder and organizer Krishna Bansal said. With that now off the schedule as well, efforts will be put into planning 'a vibrant and unforgettable' India Day Parade and Celebration for 2026, the Facebook post said. They are also 'exploring the possibility of an event for the remainder of the year.' Bansal was not available for comment. Refunds will be issued this week to those who have already registered and paid to be part of the event, the post said. Bansal previously told the Naperville Sun that part of the mounting costs were tied to city requirements that fencing be placed around the perimeter of the event grounds and metal detectors set up at controlled entry and exit points. Rules also require that attendees be limited to only bringing clear bags with them when they enter the event. Naperville Police Chief Jason Arres said at the time that the heightened security requirements are not necessarily new, but they are 'something we've really been pushing towards for the past few years and are finally getting traction.' The same rules are in place and will be implemented for Naperville's Last Fling festival, which will be held downtown Aug. 29-Sept. 1 on Jackson Avenue. Additionally, minors will not be allowed inside the fest grounds if not accompanied by an adult. India Day is not the only celebration to be canceled this year. Naperville Salute, an annual Fourth of July event also held at Rotary Hill, also will not be held this year. Organizers did not go into detail but said the cancellation was done to preserve the long-term health of both the event and the charitage organization behind it. Another longtime Naperville festival came to an end last year. Although Ribfest had not been held in the city for a few years, the organizers decided the annual event would end after 35 years.
