Rapper Kid Cudi To Testify At Sean ‘Diddy' Comb's Hearing, Details Here
In her lawsuit, Cassie Ventura claimed that Sean Diddy Combs wanted to blow up Kid Cudi's car out of anger.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Kid Cudi are all set to come face-to-face, not for a musical battle but the ongoing legal trial against the Bad Boy Records founder. Kid Cudi, who will be giving a testimony in the ongoing sex trafficking case against Diddy, is expected to take the stand in the lower Manhattan courtroom on Thursday.
The update came after the Wednesday hearing when the jury informed the judges and the defence team about the Man on the Moon rap star's absence in the court, with the feds unveiling that Cudi would be in the witness box on Thursday. Kid Cudi's appearance comes days after his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, during her week-long testimony delved into the details of their brief romantic relationship. She also touched upon the allegations about Combs blowing up Cudi's car in the past.
It is yet to be seen how Kid Cudi's testimony sheds more light on the investigation in connection with Ventura's claims and charges against Diddy's involvement in racketeering and sex trafficking.
Cassie Ventura's Lawsuit – Diddy And Kid Cudi
During her testimony, Ventura revealed that Sean 'Diddy' Combs wanted to blow up Kid Cudi's car, forcing her to break up with the Happy Gilmore 2 star. She also testified to meeting with Diddy and Cudi in Los Angeles to discuss the end of their relationship. Ventura's lawsuit came with more shocking details, revealing how Diddy discovered her relationship with Cudi during a freak-off, prompting him to lunge at her with a corkscrew, as per Forbes.
While Ventura managed to escape and flee to Cudi's home, she was threatened by Diddy's staff to come back. She was later subjected to physical assault upon attempting to run out of the house. It was during the Paris Fashion Week in February 2012 when Diddy admitted that he wanted to blow up Kid Cudi's car. The explosion did happen, leaving Ventura 'terrified and in disbelief."
Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, won two Grammy Awards for his collaborative songs with Kanye West and Rihanna. His Man on the Moon album trilogy was also a big hit. Cudi has also appeared in several films, including Crisis and X.
Sean Diddy Combs is currently charged with one count of racketeering conspiracy; two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution amid a number of other lawsuits. The trial began on May 5.

Nora Fatehi's Cobalt Coat Moment Is Straight Out Of A Fashion Fantasy
Last Updated: For her recent look, Nora Fatehi donned a cobalt blue coat from Alexandre Vauthier's Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 collection. She shared the pictures on her Instagram. Nora Fatehi is no stranger to the fashion spotlight, and her recent look in a show-stopping cobalt blue coat proves why she's one of the most influential global fashion powerhouses of the moment. The outfit in question? A statement piece from Alexandre Vauthier's Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 collection, worn with the kind of confidence only Nora can pull off. Shot against intricately painted blue walls in Jaipur, Nora Fatehi 's look was a striking interplay of architectural couture and traditional Indian opulence. The structured coat, crafted with sharp shoulders, exaggerated lapels, and rich faux fur trim, embodied both glamour and edge. Its vivid cobalt hue stood out like a jewel, echoing the regal undertones of the setting while exuding contemporary high-fashion drama. What makes Nora's style choices consistently compelling is her ability to balance bold fashion risks with refined execution. Instead of letting the maximalist coat compete with accessories, she dialled everything else down: slicked-back hair, dewy skin, and minimal jewellery. The sheer black tights and crystal-embellished pumps added just the right amount of contrast and sparkle, letting the coat stay front and centre. This look isn't just another couture moment; it's a continuation of Nora's growing legacy as a fashion force. From Louis Vuitton at Paris Fashion Week to Oscar de la Renta at the Oscars Vanity Fair After Party and Tom Ford at the American Music Awards, she's been making carefully curated appearances that place her in the same league as global fashion icons. What's most interesting, though, is how she's carving her path, one bold silhouette, one fashion risk at a time. In an industry often dictated by trends and play-it-safe styling, Nora's unapologetic fashion statements serve as reminders that style is as much about storytelling as it is about clothing. This cobalt moment? It wasn't just a look. It was a statement. view comments First Published: August 02, 2025, 20:00 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. MGK Reveals Why He Turned Down Role In Ryan Coogler's Sinners
Last Updated: MGK revealed his wish to act despite rejecting a role in Sinners, which later went to Peter Dreimanis. MGK, formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, recently made a startling revelation about his aspirations to act in film and television. The American rapper, singer, songwriter and producer opened up about turning down a role in the Sinners, a horror film produced, written and directed by Ryan Coogler. Additionally, he stated that he passed over a few productions and also explained the reasons behind this. MGK appeared on one of the recent episodes of The Pat McAfee Show and confessed that he has huge aspirations to embark on the journey of acting. He said, 'It just hasn't panned out that way. I'm on universal timing, though, so we'll see." The Rap Devil singer then mentioned how he later realised that he could have been a part of those projects, instead of just turning down those offers. MGK Reveals He Was Supposed To Be In Sinners During his conversation, he revealed how the makers of Sinners were considering him for the role of Bert, who was later played by Peter Dreimanis after he rejected the part. The 35-year-old singer confessed, 'I mean, there's been plenty of movies that come out that I'm like, 'Ah, I was supposed to be in that.' Or, 'Oh, I did auditions for that.' Like Sinners, I was supposed to be in that." Why MGK Denied The Role Of Bert In Sinners Post denying the audition for the horror movie, the Wild Boy rapper thought that he could have easily been part of Ryan Coogler's box office hit. He also described that, however, his decision at that time was because he was required to say a racial slur. The role was ultimately played by Peter Dreimanis in Sinners, where the on-screen character gets married to Lola Kirke's Joan. Then, the two turn into vampires after a series of incidents leading up to that. Talking about the same, MGK said, 'The vampire — they had me set up to do the audition— it's the one that's in the house, so he's the second vampire, the one that the guy comes and eats the family," adding, 'In the audition, he has to say the 'n-word' and I wouldn't do it." MGK Is Still Eager To Act Despite his multiple denials, he says, 'I'd like to be in the cinema while I still look young," adding, 'Okay. All right. That was the message to Hollywood. I would like to be recruited into a movie while I still have some looks." Talking about Sinners, the movie hit the theatres on April 18, becoming one of the highest-grossing original films since the pandemic, according to Forbes. The horror film is currently streaming on HBO Max, Prime Video, Fandango At Home and Apple TV. Set in 1932 Mississippi, the film stars Michael B. Jordan in dual roles as criminal twin brothers who return to their hometown to start again, where a supernatural evil confronts them. The movie also features Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Peter Dreimanis, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller and Delroy Lindo.
