Kai Rooney, 15, scored and assisted in a rampant 3-0 win over West Cork Academy on Monday.
Dad Wayne is Man Utd's all-time record goalscorer with 253 notches and former SuperCup NI player for Everton youth.
With Michael Carrick's son Jacey also named in the XI, United's Under-16s took an early lead within the opening five minutes.
Kai, charged down the right wing to the byline to cross deep to Sam O'Brien whose first touch perfectly set it up to hit on the volley past the keeper.

Kai then hit the net from the penalty spot to double United's lead going into the break, having earned the spot-kick himself.
The teenager then immediately put his hands across his face in tribute to new £63.5million Arsenal striker Gyokeres, who previously a Man Utd target.
When the Swede celebrates a goal, he locks his fingers together on both hands and covers his mouth and nose to create a 'bane' Batman mask.
Meanwhile, although Kai was a danger throughout, it was Bassirou Nkoto's outrageous goal that left fans talking.

This year the tournament is held in Coleraine, Northern Ireland with teams from Mexico and Japan involved.

From David Beckham and Paul Scholes to Marcus Rashford, the next generation of United academy talents look to follow in their footsteps by lifting the cup.
United's young team are competing in the Boys Premier competition in Group C with Rangers, Co Tyrone, and West Cork.

But Kai isn't the only famous Man Utd name wearing the No.9 shirt at the SuperCupNI.
Jonny Evans' niece Sienna is playing for the Red Devils' Under-14 team.
Sienna is the daughter of former United academy graduate Corry Evans, who won 69 caps for Northern Ireland.

Manchester United have been offered former Arsenal and Chelsea transfer target Dusan Vlahovic as Ruben Amorim searches for a new striker. Amorim is determined to welcome a new goalscorer to Old Trafford this summer after current first-choice striker Rasmus Hojlund endured a dismal 2024-25 campaign. Hojlund, who completed a £72m move from Atalanta in 2023, scored just four goals in the Premier League as United slumped to a 15th-place finish. Amorim was hoping to reunite with his former Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres but the Sweden international rejected the Red Devils in favour of a move to Arsenal. Manchester United have since been heavily linked with a move for Benjamin Sesko but face serious competition from Newcastle United in the race to sign the RB Leipzig forward. But Newcastle appear to be leading the battle to sign Sesko, having made a second offer for the Slovenia international on Monday after their opening £70m bid was knocked back. Clubs around Europe are fully aware of United's pursuit of a striker and as a result some have offered unwanted players to Sir Jim Ratcliffe. One such example is Juventus, who have contacted Manchester United in recent days to offer them the chance to sign Serbia star Vlahovic. The 25-year-old has scored 58 goals in 145 appearances for Juve since completing a £66m move from Fiorentina in 2022. Speaking last week, Juventus chief Damien Comolli confirmed the club would sell Vlahovic this summer if they received a 'good proposal'. 'We have agreed with Dusan on his exit this summer if we get a good proposal,' he said. 'But he can only leave with a good bid and we've not received it so far.' More Trending According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United rejected the chance to sign Vlahovic, telling Juventus their sole focus is currently on Sesko. The Series A giants were informed United were still hopeful of securing a deal for Sesko but could reconsider their interest in Vlahovic should Newcastle beat them to their No. 1 target. Vlahovic was heavily linked with Arsenal before and after his 2022 move to Arsenal, while Chelsea were said to be considering a move before they signed Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. He is accused of three counts of rape against one of the alleged victims and two against a second. Partey is also charged with one count of sexual assault against the third complainant. The star allegedly carried out the offences between 2021 and 2022. Partey's contract with Arsenal ended on June 30 and was not renewed - making him a free agent. He has since been linked to Villarreal and is understood to have undergone a medical at the La Liga side. Partey, who has also had offers from Saudi Arabia and Turkey, is expected to sign a two-year deal. His defence Lawyer Jenny Wiltshire said previously: 'Thomas Partey denies all the charges against him. "He has fully cooperated with the police and CPS throughout their three-year investigation. He now welcomes the opportunity to finally clear his name. "Given that there are now ongoing legal proceedings, my client is unable to comment further' A probe into the defensive midfielder was launched in February 2022 after officers first received a report of rape. Ruben Amorim's two decisions hint next Man Utd transfer is already decided
Ruben Amorim is ringing the changes this summer after telling five players to find new clubs, while Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo are leading Manchester United's rebuild - but the manager is still chasing a new midfielder Manchester United look to be lining up a new midfield signing after Ruben Amorim signalled his intention to loan out youngster Toby Collyer, with senior colleague Casemiro identified as a squad player this season. Amorim has been overseeing a huge rebuild of his squad this summer as he bids to erase the heartache of last season, when the Red Devils finished 15th in the Premier League after 18 losses. Marcus Rashford has already departed while four other players have been told to find new clubs. United have been working on refining their tactics and fitness under Amorim during their pre-season tour in the United States, where they won the Premier League Summer Series, with new signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo bedding into the squad. But while the team have been unbeaten in pre-season so far and look a much improved side, Amorim still isn't satisfied having previously complained that his midfield has "a lack of pace". And Amorim's actions have hinted that United's next addition could very well be a midfielder, according to the Manchester Evening News, with Collyer set to be sent out on loan. Collyer was a squad player under Amorim last season as he was given a chance off the bench in ten games and also earned three starts in cup competitions, but the United boss wants more top-level experience to help the team control games. There have also been concerns over Manuel Ugarte after he struggled in the 2-2 friendly draw with Everton, failing to deal with their physicality and aggressive press. Casemiro is also not a player Amorim appears to look at with optimism after he showed signs that he was struggling to keep up with the pace of elite football last season. This season he will be a squad player after he was not mentioned in Amorim's six-man leadership group for the season, despite being included in it under the reign of Erik ten Hag. Amorim will be looking to starlet Kobbie Mainoo for the future but for now he will need a suitable option who could play alongside him - or Ugarte. The club have been linked with moves for Atalanta midfielder Ederson, while Valencia star Javi Guerra is also understood to be a target. Further forward in midfield, United have also been credited with a big-money move for Barcelona's Fermin Lopez. The biggest priority for Amorim in the transfer market, however, is a new centre forward. The club are in talks to sign Red Bull Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, but face stiff competition from Newcastle, who can offer Champions League football.
