Bigg Boss Malayalam, the Mohanlal-hosted controversial reality show, is all set to come up with its Seventh season, scheduled to premiere on August 3, 2025. As the excitement among the fans is at its all-time high, speculations around the potential contestant list are currently surfacing on social media.
According to a rumour, this time, participants may be accompanied by their family members during the launch episode, a format twist not previously seen during the show's premiere stage.
Bigg Boss Malayalam 7: Contestant Can Bring Family Member
As per ETimesTV, citing sources, all the candidates will be allowed to bring a family member or close friend to the premiere stage. Although they will not enter the home, these guests will briefly join the candidate on stage, take part in a fun introductory task, and bid an emotional farewell before their loved one enters.
This is the first time in Bigg Boss Malayalam history that family or friends would appear on the premiere show, which is usually reserved for the grand finale or mid-season features. Typically, family members are only visible in introductory videos or via videoconferencing.

While the official list of candidates has yet to be announced, names such as Renu Sudhi, Anumol, and Aryan Kathuria are circulating on social media as potential contestants. At the same time, renowned actors like Roshan Basheer, Rekha Ratheesh, and Avantika Mohan have already denied the rumours of their participation, putting a stop to fan speculation regarding their involvement.

In the latest season, the makers are likely to introduce the Hell and Heaven theme, as per The Times of India. The Heaven section of the house will be luxuriously decorated, whilst the Hell section will be difficult and demanding to survive. This concept was initially introduced in the seventh season of Bigg Boss Hindi, and it will also be included in the seventh season of Bigg Boss Malayalam.
