Despite refusing to trigger a buyback clause in Fabbian's deal, Inter could still do business with Bologna.
Indeed, they hope to offload Kristjan Asllani to Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
However, the player's wish remains uncertain.

Inter no longer count on Asllani as Cristian Chivu sidelined him from his project.
Therefore, they're actively searching for suitors.
Although Real Betis showed readiness to sign the 23-year-old, the player refused the move.
Indeed, he found the prospect unappealing, leaving the Nerazzurri in an awkward spot.
Foreign clubs are not exactly 'mad' about the former Empoli midfielder after several disappointing seasons.
As such, their best hope is to sell him to a fellow Serie A team.
However, Bologna will not meet Inter's €18 million asking price, even though they appreciate Asllani's qualities.

Zazzaroni Reveals ‘Atalanta Shareholders Blocking Lookman Sale' After Bombshell Transfer Request

Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni believes it is the owners and shareholders of Atalanta who have been blocking the sale of Ademola Lookman to Inter Milan. Zazzaroni took to Instagram after the latest development of Lookman publicly handing in a transfer request. Earlier today, Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman made a public message asking for a transfer. The Nigerian's previous gesture had not exactly been subtle. He scrubbed all traces of his current employers from his social media accounts. However, now Lookman has spelled it out in plain English. View this post on Instagram The 27-year-old went as far as to accuse Atalanta of 'poor treatment' and of 'breaking a promise' due to their not selling him in a timely manner. Therefore, this could embolden Inter to push even harder for Lookman's signature. (Photo by) Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni, who first broke the news of Inter's interest in Lookman, gave his thoughts on the state of the transfer saga. 'In the end, Marotta was right to interpret the no to the €45 million offer as an affirmation that the player was considered unsellable,' Zazzaroni writes. This, in particular 'after the sale of Retegui.' 'Considering that now the player feels that he must publicly force their hand.' Furthermore, Zazzaroni rights that 'the real obstacle now is Stephen Pagliuca.' The US businessman is part-owner of Atalanta. 'Who along with the other shareholders owns 55% of Atalanta.' Zazzaroni then adds that 'Inter are in no rush.'

Atalanta Talisman Still Top Target For Inter Milan – Chelsea & Man United Outcasts Plan B Options

Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is still Inter Milan's top target in attack, while Christopher Nkunku and Jadon Sancho are Plan B targets. This according to Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNEws. Inter Milan have been chasing for several weeks. And it would be fair to say that the transfer saga has blown up into an outright soap opera. This has been the results of Atalanta's reluctance to sell the Nigerian international. They have so far rejected two bids from Inter. On the other hand, Lookman himself is absolutely dead set on making the move to the Nerazzurri. Lookman Still Top Target For Inter – Nkunku & Sancho Backup Targets LONDON, ENGLAND – FEBRUARY 25: Christopher Nkunku of Chelsea during the Premier League match between Chelsea FC and Southampton FC at Stamford Bridge on February 25, 2025 in London, England. (Photo by) After Lookman publicly requested a transfer today, Inter are still determine to sign the 27-year-old former RB Leipzig and Leicester City forward. Therefore, reports Sky Sport Italia, the Nerazzurri are not focusing on the idea of having a Plan B. Rather, Inter are still going to make signing Lookman their top priority. However, if Inter are not able to sign the Nigerian, there are a couple backup targets they could move onto. One would be out-of-favour Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku. And staying within the Premier League, Inter could also move for Jadon Sancho, who Manchester United definitely want to sell.

Why Gutierrez is still waiting for a Napoli decision

Napoli have Miguel Gutierrez in their grasp for €20m and agreed personal terms with the Girona player, but have still not made a decision on whether to sign him. The left-back has just turned 24 last month and is a product of the Real Madrid youth academy, who made the move to Girona FC in 2022. We added that a decision wouldn't arrive in 24-48 hours from Wednesday, because the club is trying to reflect on the situation. Indeed, we are now on Sunday and Napoli have still not pulled the trigger, quite simply because they are waiting for the next two friendly matches against Brest today and Casertana tomorrow morning. After that, they can make a decision on whether to go all in or consider investing in other roles.
