Man arrested for murder in 2024 Arlington shooting
Police responded to the calls about a shooting at Arlington Road and Mayer Drive in the early morning hours of October 23.
At the time, Action News Jax was told by officials that a caller had claimed to have seen him on the ground at Bruce Park.
Police found the victim, 28-year-old Shawndell Robinson, shot. He died at the scene.

After reviewing the evidence, JSO has since identified the suspected shooter as 28-year-old Michael Byron.
He was already in the Duval County jail on unrelated charges after being arrested less than one month after the shooting. They were for allegedly possessing a gun or ammo as a convicted felon and resisting an officer.
Byron received an additional charge for second-degree murder on May 13th, according to jail records.
He is due in court for an arraignment on June 4, with the date subject to change.

Jacksonville police still looking for person of interest in fatal hit-and-run
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said it is searching for a person of interest in a fatal hit-and-run. It happened on the city's Northwest side on Moncrief Road West and Richardson Road Friday night. Sheriff's office officials say a man in his 50s was crossing the street on an electric scooter when he was hit by a Ford truck traveling north. The man was thrown into the southbound lanes from the impact of the crash and was hit again by a white SUV. Antonio Cook lives nearby and said he was not surprised to hear about a crash on the road. He said the area is a busy stretch of road on the weekends. They have a good time, but they're not doing it safely,' Cook said. Over the weekend, JSO released pictures of the white SUV driver, a black man in his 50s, asking for the public's help to identify the man. The sheriff's office says the victim was taken to the hospital, where he died. There is no word yet on the man's identity. Woman shot and killed at block party on Grothe Street
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a woman was shot and killed during a block party Saturday night. Read: JSO searching for suspect involved in hit-and-run crash on Moncrief Road JSO said it happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Grothe Street. An officer nearby heard reports of gunfire and responded to the scene. When the officer got there, they found a woman in her 60s or 70s sitting in a chair on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue (JFRD) pronounced her dead at the scene. >>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<< JSO said more than a hundred people were at the block party near Grothe and Eaverson streets when the shooting happened.
