Browns rookie RB Quinshon Judkins arrested on battery and domestic violence charge
According Broward County arrest records, Judkins was jailed overnight and was awaiting his first court appearance. The charge is described in the arrest report as 'touch or strike/battery/domestic violence.'

The charge is a misdemeanor. The records do not indicate if Judkins has an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
A Browns spokesman said the team is aware of the incident and gathering more information.
CNN has reached out to Judkins' representation for comment.
The 21-year-old Judkins was the 36th overall pick in the April draft after rushing for 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns at Ohio State last season.
The Browns drafted Judkins in the hopes that he could become the team's lead running back after Nick Chubb signed with the Houston Texans. Cleveland also drafted Dylan Sampson in the fourth round.

Judkins is the only member of the Browns' seven-player draft class who has not signed his rookie contract. Cleveland's rookies are scheduled to report to training camp on Friday.

(AP) — The Las Vegas Raiders placed defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, who experienced a significant setback earlier this year in his recovery from a broken foot, on the physically unable to perform list Friday. That means Wilkins will miss at least the beginning of training camp, which opens Wednesday. Because he was placed on the PUP list before practices began, the Raiders can activate Wilkins at any time during camp once medically cleared. Wilkins suffered the season-ending injury in Week 5 last season. He then experienced some sort of setback in his recovery, which caused him to miss all of organized team activities and minicamp. 'It's been a difficult recovery and he's done everything he needs to do,' coach Pete Carroll said in May. 'He's been here every day. He's here early working hard. He's not ready to get back out. We're in the midst of a long, challenging process.' Wilkins, 29, was the Raiders' marquee free-agent signing last year, agreeing to a four-year, $110 million contract with $82.75 million guaranteed. He was expected to bolster a defensive line led by pass rushers Maxx Crosby and Malcolm Koonce after making a career-high nine sacks in 2023 with Miami to go with his elite run-stopping ability. All three linemen, however, suffered season-ending injuries. Wilkins had two sacks and 17 tackles in five games before injuring his foot, which required surgery. 'He was gone, way before we got to the hospital,' Ana Juarez, the mother of Raul Chavez, told ABC affiliate WFAA. The Gainesville Police Department said in a news release that the incident occurred on Sunday, July 13, in the 3100 block of U.S. Highway 82, where officers responded to a report of a "major accident" involving a 4x4 rollover. The police said four children whose ages ranged from 6 to 13 were riding on a Polaris side-by-side vehicle in a parking lot when the driver lost control, after which the Polaris rolled over and its occupants were ejected. 'When officers arrived, CPR had already started on one of the occupants, who was reported to be 6 years of age,' the news release stated. 'All four children were transported by medical services to the hospital. One child was air lifted to a metroplex hospital, two were treated locally. Despite all efforts, the 6-year-old succumbed to his injuries.' According to the family, Raul and the three kids — among them his brothers, ages 9 and 13 — were riding on the UTV when it rolled over and pinned Raul underneath. 'It turned on one side, and my baby fell to the side,' Juarez told WFAA. 'It fell on him.' The outlet also reported that Raul's 9-year-old brother suffered pelvic fractures and bruises on his lungs and liver, adding he was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday, July 16. Raul was a member of the Ennis Soccer Association, who remembered him as one of their beloved players in a Facebook tribute. 'This is a loss none of us could have prepared for. Raul was more than just a player on the field," the association wrote, noting, "he was a part of our family. A teammate, a brother, a friend. His spirit, kindness, and smile touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.' The statement continued, 'As a community, we stand together in grief, offering strength, comfort, and unwavering support to the Chavez family during this unimaginable time." Raul's family recently purchased new gear for the child ahead of soccer season. 'We bought him goalie gloves a couple of days before,' Juarez told WFAA. A GoFundMe has since been created for Raul's family to pay for funeral costs and medical expenses. 'There are no words to describe the depth of this tragedy,' the fundraiser organizer wrote. 'Raul was a bright light — joyful, kind, full of curiosity and love. His goal was to be a soccer goalie and could not wait to make those dreams come true.' The Ennis Soccer Association announced that a candlelight vigil will be held in Raul's memory on Monday, July 21, at Veterans Park. Trump orders some Epstein evidence bared after birthday letter exposé
President Donald Trump bowed to a storm of public pressure and ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to release some documents in the Jeffrey Epstein sex case after The Wall Street Journal published a purported racy happy birthday letter from Trump to the notorious pedophile. In a late-night social media post, Trump told Bondi to release whatever information she could, a move that would effectively reverse the administration's previous stance that there would be nothing further disclosed. The president furiously blamed Democrats and claimed there was no damaging evidence about him in the files, even though the issue has caused a massive split within his right-wing MAGA movement. 'If there was a 'smoking gun' on Epstein, why didn't the Dems, who controlled the 'files' for four years … use it?' he wrote Friday on his social media site, referring to former President Biden's term in the White House. 'Because they had nothing.' Bondi said she would seek court permission as early as later Friday to release grand jury information in the infamous underage sex ring, a move that would require a judge's approval. She and Trump were silent on the additional evidence collected by federal law enforcement in the sprawling investigation that Bondi last week announced she would not release. Epstein died by suicide in 2019 awaiting trial on federal charges of trafficking of scores of underage girls.
