Speaking about his character, Siddhanth shared, "The audience loved me in a never-seen-before avatar.
I've done intense roles before, but this one... this was different. This time, I had to completely disappear into someone darker, colder, and more dangerous."
"I gave this role everything I had. The grime, the anger, the silence - it was all real to me. And when people connect with that truth, it's the biggest reward," he added.
Recently, Siddhanth's sister Shraddha praised her brother's performance on social media. The 'Stree' actress shared a still featuring Siddhant from the Netflix series and wrote, "My bhaiya packing a punch (sic)."
In Netflix's crime thriller, "Mandala Murders," Siddhanth Kapoor played the role of a riveting gangster. Set in the fictional town of Charandaspur, "Mandala Murders" follows the intense journey of two detectives as they investigate a series of ritualistic killings. Their search for the truth leads them to a mysterious secret society with roots that trace back centuries. Co-directed by
and Manan Rawat, the gripping crime thriller premiered on Netflix on July 25.
The show also starred
, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Surveen Chawla. Earlier, Vaani had shared what, in her view, set her series Mandala Murders apart from other crime thrillers on Indian screens.
"What really sets Mandala Murders apart is the world it's set in, it's not just another whodunnit. The show blends crime with psychological depth, exploring the darker side of cult culture, blind faith, and emotional trauma. It's layered, atmospheric, and visually so distinct. Every character is carrying something... a secret, a wound, a belief... and that complexity makes the story feel more real and gripping.
It's unsettling in the best way," Kapoor explained.

The Great Indian Kapil Show: Shilpa Shetty roasts sister Shamita Shetty, Huma Qureshi's mother warns Kapil Sharma. Watch

As India gears up to celebrate Raksha Bandhan on August 9, The Great Indian Kapil Show is bringing together two of Bollywood's most beloved sibling duos, Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty, and Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem, for a fun-filled festive episode. A promo of the upcoming episode, leaked on social media, promises laughter, teasing, and plenty of sibling banter as the guests hilariously call each other out. Shamita Shetty and Shilpa Shetty, Huma Qureshi with her brother Saqib Saleem and mother, grace Kapil Sharma's show. Shilpa Shetty roasts Shamita Shetty on Kapil Sharma's show In the promo video, Shilpa jokes about Kapil Sharma's weight loss, to which he quips back that he must've learnt it from her, joking that he's growing shorter by the year. When Kapil asks if Shamita shares everything with her sister, Shilpa replies, 'She only hides boyfriend matters with me.' Shamita quickly responds that she doesn't hide it anymore, and Shilpa confirms, 'It's because she's single now.' Kapil cheekily asks Shamita, 'Otherwise you like men, right?' to which she exclaims, 'Of course!' — leaving her sister in splits. Shilpa doesn't hold back and even roasts Shamita's dating choices. When Sunil (dressed as a girl) asks, 'What should one see in a man?' Huma says, 'Handsome, tall,' and Shamita adds, 'Intelligence.' Shilpa then turns to her sister and quips, 'Lekin tu fir intelligence dekhti kyun nahi hai? Sirf body dekhti hai' (But then why don't you look at intelligence? You only look at the body). Huma Qureshi's mother warns Kapil Sharma Meanwhile, Huma and Saqib make a dramatic entry holding a giant rakhi to tie on Kapil. Later, Kapil is seen interacting with Huma's mother, who is in the audience. Jokingly, he says, 'I got married waiting for Huma,' to which her mother replies, 'Vo shuru se aapko bhai bolti hai, aur uski laaj rakhna chahiye aapko, nahi manoge to fir…' (She's been calling you 'brother' from the beginning, and you should respect that. If you don't, then…). A startled Kapil is then heard saying, 'Inka koi mike band karo, gundi hai aapki mummy?' (Turn off her mic — is your mum a goon?). About The Great Indian Kapil Show Hosted by Kapil Sharma, the show blends sketch comedy, celebrity interviews, and stand-up, with a familiar ensemble cast including Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, and Krushna Abhishek. The latest season has seen Navjot Singh Sidhu return as a permanent guest alongside Archana Puran Singh. A new twist this season allows fans to take the stage and showcase their talent. New episodes stream every Saturday on Netflix.

Natania Lalwani: Breaking Borders, One Global Hit At A Time

Last Updated: Blending Punjabi soul with global pop, Natania Lalwani is reshaping the soundscape of mainstream music—one cross-cultural hit at a time. From Mumbai to Los Angeles, from Punjabi beats to Hollywood soundtracks, Natania Lalwani is crafting a musical universe where culture meets pop magic with Rihanna, Disney, and even the Smurfs along for the ride. For Natania Lalwani, music isn't just about melodies, it's about emotion, connection, and fearlessly crossing borders. With songwriting credits for global heavyweights like Nick Jonas, Rihanna, Cardi B, and now a coveted spot on the Freaky Friday reboot soundtrack, the Indian-born, LA-based pop singer-songwriter is making waves that resonate far beyond genre or geography. 'I've always believed that music breaks all borders," Natania shares. 'No matter the market or style, at the heart of it, we're all trying to create something that moves people." Whether she's writing a vulnerable breakup ballad or crafting a joy-filled tune for The Smurfs, Natania's north star is authenticity and it shows. Repping Brown on the Global Stage With a powerful voice both on and off the mic, Natania is part of a larger movement redefining South Asian representation in global entertainment. 'There's a growing respect and curiosity for South Asian voices," she says, beaming with pride. 'We're not just showing up, we're leading." She cites names like Diljit Dosanjh and Karan Aujla as evidence of this shift, and her own career is a prime example: from viral desi-pop fusions to writing platinum-certified tracks for artists like Armaan Malik, Natania's discography reflects a bold, borderless sound. A Disney Dream, Reimagined Her latest milestone? Freaky Friday, Disney's reboot of the iconic film. 'It was a full circle moment," she says. 'My A&R sent in the song, and Disney loved it." A creative call with director Nisha Ganatra sealed the deal. The track itself, born from a serendipitous studio session with Jason Evigan, carries layers of heartbreak and hope. 'I was going through a breakup and just poured it all into the song," she laughs. 'It somehow matched the film's energy perfectly. It was fate!" Smurfs, Soundtracks, and Surreal Moments Then came The Smurfs. Her track 'Higher Love" brings a vibrant Punjabi-pop flavor to the animated film's international soundtrack. 'I grew up in Mumbai watching movies like this—it felt so far away," she reflects. 'To now be part of something global and still so personal, that's everything." The blue carpet premiere only added to the magic. 'Hearing my song, meeting Rihanna, it was electric!" Bridging Cultures, Finding Her Frequency Throughout it all, Natania's mission has remained clear: fuse her Indian heritage with the universal language of pop. 'It's like finding my own unique frequency," she says. 'It's heart-expanding. It makes me feel fully, authentically me." And fans have noticed, her work doesn't just blend cultures, it celebrates them. The Rahman Dream and What's Next When asked about a dream collaboration, her answer is instant: A.R. Rahman. 'It would be something timeless but fresh. Something that lives forever," she says. And while she stays tight-lipped about specifics, she teases more music on the horizon, with the Freaky Friday soundtrack dropping August 8. As for the buzz around her recent studio time with Rahman? She calls it 'a pinch-me moment." No surprise, most of her journey seems like one, the kind artists dream of but few actually live. But for Natania Lalwani, this is just the beginning.
