SEX and the City star Cynthia Nixon made a shock visit to Scotland for a special adventure on the Isle of Skye.
The telly legend, who played Miranda Hobbes in the iconic series and movies, was mesmerised by her trip and called on her nearly two million Instagram followers to visit as well.

Cynthia, 59, swapped Manhattan home for the Isle of Skye to check out one of the country's most remote beauty spots.
She explored the coastal village of Elgol before catching a ride with family-run Misty Isles Boat Trips who took her across from Loch Coriusk to Loch Scavaig.
The showbiz fave said: 'We just took an amazing boat trip from Elgol to the loch.
'It was incredible. If you're ever in Elgol, don't miss these people
'Thanks to the family matriarch Anne for telling us to put the pedal to the metal and get on board, and you were right - your grandson Seamus was the best.
'Oh and don't forget to pack sandwiches from Cafe Elgol.'
Anne MacKinnon runs the firm, while Seamus captains the boat.
Cynthia added: 'He was the best. A true Skye seafarer – calm, funny, and full of fascinating tales.'
We previously told how Sex And the City creator Candace Bushnell insisted she made Scotsmen sexy long before Outlander - after featuring a hot kilt wearing hunk in her hit TV show.
The New York author - who was the basis for Sarah Jessica Parker's journalist character Carrie Bradshaw - is quick to point out that Kyle MacLachlan portrayed Charlotte's tartan-clad hubby Trey MacDougal in the series.

Candace said: 'One of the most popular characters from the show was Trey MacDougal, played brilliantly by Kyle MacLachlan.

'I mean, a Scotsman in a kilt?
"You can't beat that, can you? It's the fantasy.
"So we were way ahead of Outlander with our sexy male stereotypes.'

Calvin Harris has announced that he and partner Vick Hope welcomed their first child together last month in a heartwarming Instagram post. The DJ, 41, and TV presenter Vick, 35, welcomed a baby son on July 20 but have been so wrapped up in their love bubble, they only decided to announce the joyous news today. Taking to Instagram on Monday, One Kiss hitmaker Calvin shared the very first picture of his newborn son and announced the beautifully unique name the couple have chose for their first-born child. Alongside an adorable photo of the couple's newborn baby cuddling into his dad's chest, Calvin wrote: "20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah." In the collection of photos Calvin shared announcing the birth of Micah, it was revealed that Vick had a water birth as photos showed her in a blue birthing pool surrounded by candles. The new mum gave birth to her son outside on a balcony, and with an incredible view in front of her as greenery and trees surrounded them. Proud dad Calvin was there for every minute of it and was by Vick's side when their son came into the world.
