The statement said that one of the event's key attractions is the Patient Journey Booth, an immersive showcase that takes visitors through a simulated care journey, from the initial consultation to post-treatment follow-up, integrating digital tools and systems aimed at delivering smarter and more efficient care.

Son of Perak's Sultan Nazrin's among participants of jellyfish-hit swim event
IPOH: The son of Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah was among the participants of a recent swimming competition at Teluk Senangin in Lumut where several students were stung by jellyfish. Event organiser AMMJB Swimmers Event & Clinics posted on Facebook that Raja Kecil Besar Raja Azlan Muzzaffar Shah, who participated in the 3km men's junior 12-19 age group category, only suffered minor injuries and is in good condition. "He is in good condition and healthy despite a minor injury on his hand due to a jellyfish sting. "Any allegations that he suffered serious injuries or that can tarnish the good name of the royal institution are baseless and an attempt to cause confusion and discredit the competition," it added in the post on Sunday (Aug 3). Meanwhile, Perak human resources, health, indian community affairs and national integration committee chairman A. Sivanesan said the competition was organised without referring to local authorities. He said the organiser should have at least consulted the Malaysian Maritime Department to check if there was a threat of jellyfish in the area. "The organiser is a private company from outside Perak. We did not know about the event... even the sports and health executive committees did not know about it. "This is a lesson to outsiders who want to organise any activities… that they must refer to the authorities. Luckily, there were no untoward incidents this time," he said at an event in the Royal Club Ipoh here on Sunday. It was reported that at least 40 participants of the Teluk Senangin Open Water Swim 2025 competition were injured after being stung by jellyfish and needed hospital treatment. 13MP: Govt not neglecting rural areas – Ahmad Zahid

Ahmad Zahid, who is also Minister of Rural and Regional Development, said that for Sabah, he observed several key areas of specific focus, including efforts to position the state as a Blue Economy hub to attract investment in new strategic industries. 'We will also enhance flood mitigation measures for the safety and wellbeing of the people,' he said when officiating the 'Sentuhan Kasih Desa MADANI @ Lahad Datu' programme in Kampung Sapagaya here on Sunday. He said the government also plans to turn Sabah into a food production hub, thereby strengthening the role of rural areas as the backbone of national food security. When tabling the 13MP for the 2026–2030 period under the theme 'Redesigning Development', Prime Minsiter Datuk Seri Anwar Inrahim announced initiatives such as the Sarawak Hydrogen Hub and Sabah Energy Supply Assurance to strengthen energy infrastructure in both states. Under the 13MP, priority will also be given to the construction of the Sabah-Sarawak-Kalimantan road network in alignment with the relocation of Indonesia's capital to Nusantara in East Kalimantan. Emphasis is also placed on an intensive poverty eradication strategy, digital transformation, and support for the resilience of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The government remains committed to strengthening the retail network of 'Pasar Tamu' markets in Sabah and Sarawak, the development of integrated fisheries hubs, coastal and maritime tourism, as well as blue biotechnology — including upgrading bunkering facilities at Sabah ports. Meanwhile, Ahmad Zahid said the 13MP is also a manifestation of the MADANI Government's resolve to develop basic infrastructure, strengthen entrepreneurship and enhance disaster preparedness in rural areas.
