Blue-chip OL sets commitment date, Longhorns in top four
Texas has multiple offensive linemen committed for the 2026 cycle. On July 4, they have a great opportunity to add one of the top players not only at his position but in the entire country. That's when five-star Felix Ojo will make his decision between Texas, Ohio State, Florida, and Michigan per Hayes Fawcett. Back in May, Texas got the only crystal ball prediction for Ojo. As things currently stand, the Longhorns have the No. 12 recruiting class. However, with five-star defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright as a high possibility also, snagging Ojo as well would likely get them into the top 10. Florida and Ohio State hosted Ojo for official visits in May. He took one to Michigan in June, but his final visit from his list of top contenders went to Texas a week later on June 13. Ojo is the nation's No. 7 overall player and the No. 2 offensive tackle according to 247Sports composite rankings. They also have the 6-foot-6, 275-pounder as the No. 1 prospect in the state of Texas. The Longhorns were both last month adding commitments with seven. They haven't had one since June 22 when four-star edge Richard Wesley made his pledge. Being able to get Ojo would get the recruitment trail rolling again. According to Kelly and Nussmeier, this is the most talented roster LSU has had in Kelly's time at LSU. The Tigers have a chance to make a run. Here are the latest BetMGM odds to win the 2025 SEC Football Championship. What are LSU football's SEC title odds? According to BetMGM, the Tigers have the fourth-best odds to win the SEC at +800. Only Texas, Georgia, and Alabama have better odds. Right behind LSU sits Ole Miss at +1200.

The Hottest Team in Baseball Is Winning the Old-Fashioned Way
No team in baseball came into the season facing more turbulent headwinds than the Tampa Bay Rays. A hurricane had torn the roof off their stadium, forcing them to shack up at a spring training facility. Their young superstar, Wander Franco, was awaiting trial in the Dominican Republic on charges of sexually abusing a teenage girl, a crime for which he has since been convicted. Rumors of a potential sale of the franchise were swirling following the collapse of a hotly anticipated deal to build a new ballpark in St. Petersburg.
