Mel B's mother Andrea Brown snubs Geri Halliwell's mum in wedding post fueling speculation that Spice Girls' 'feud' has crossed generations
Scary Spice, 50, tied the knot with her partner Rory McPhee at St Paul's Cathedral in London on Saturday and celebrated with an A-list reception at The Shard afterwards.
Emma Bunton was the only Spice Girl in attendance, though Victoria Beckham and Mel C both shared gushing tributes to their bandmate as they sadly missed the day.
However, Geri Halliwell notably remained silent on her Instagram as she failed to publicly acknowledge the nuptials, amid claims of tension between her and Mel B.
Now, Mel B's mother Andrea - known as 'Andy' - has fuelled rumours of a feud as she took to her own Instagram page to share a photograph of the 'Spice Mums' at the wedding reception.
She flashed a smile as she posed with Victoria Beckham's mother Jackie Adams and Mel C's mother Joan Chisholm - who attended despite her own daughter's absence.
The glamorous trio looked closer than ever as they posed at the wedding reception, with Andy gushing over how much they had 'missed' Emma's mother Pauline Bunton in a caption.
She penned: '30yrs of friendship spice mums my partners in crime miss u sooo much Pauline.'
Pauline then replied in the comments: 'Miss you too Andy.'
However, there was notably no mention made of Geri's mother Ana María Hidalgo in the caption, as she and her daughter seemingly missed Mel B's wedding.
One fan noticed the apparent snub and took to the comments to ask: 'What happened with Ana Maria?'
Ana María - who is from Huesca, Spain - tends to keep out of the spotlight and it is not known if she lives in the UK or the reason for her absence from the wedding.
Andy, Jackie, Joan and Pauline were often together at the height of the Spice Girls fame, while Ana María remained out of the spotlight in comparison.
Ana María has made public appearances with Geri over the years, but snaps from the 90s seem to show she was absent from pictures with the other Spice Girls' mothers on occasion.
Elsewhere on Tuesday, Emma's mother Pauline also took to her Instagram Stories to share a sweet throwback with Mel B and Andy.
The photograph, taken in 1997, showed the foursome posing with Alan Cumming while Mel C was also visible - though Geri and Victoria were both not.
She captioned the snap: 'Celebrating Andy's birthday in Spice World The Movie.'
Just weeks before the wedding, Andy had also shared a video of her daughter Mel B with her Spice Girls bandmates Emma, 49, and Mel C, 51, dancing together.
The footage was taken at Mel B's 50th birthday celebrations, where Geri and Victoria, 51, were noticeably absent.
MailOnline has contacted Geri's representatives for comment. Mel B's representatives declined to comment.
Ginger Spice Geri, 52, has notably been absent from Mel B's birthday and wedding celebrations in recent weeks and failed to mention the occasions on social media.
While she remained silent on the wedding, Posh shared a sweet black and white throwback of herself and the bride with bandmates Geri, Mel C and Emma.
She captioned the snap: 'Congratulations @officalmelb @rorymcphee on your special day! I couldn't be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! kisses xx'
Hours earlier, Victoria had also posted another tribute to the couple on Friday with a photograph of herself and Mel looking glamorous together at a recent event.
She gushed in a caption: 'Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx'
Meanwhile, Mel C shared a photograph of the newlyweds on Saturday evening and admitted she was 'gutted' not to be there.
She gushed in a caption: 'So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn't be there. Excited to celebrate with you really soon! Yippee!'
Ahead of the wedding, sources told the Mail that there was no bad blood between Victoria and Mel but was simply a scheduling conflict.
They said: 'Victoria has long standing plans out of the country and she simply can't be there.
'She adores Mel, they get on really well despite their paths going in opposite directions. It's a real shame.
Geri and Mel B revealed that she had an intimate relationship with Geri when the band was starting out while she was being interviewed for Piers Morgan's Life Stories programme
'There is no issue between them, they haven't fallen out. It's just one of those things.'
As for Geri, she and Mel have a tempestuous relationship and at times have struggled to be in the same room without there being animosity.
The two women went to war after Mel B revealed that she had an intimate relationship with Geri when the band was starting out while she was being interviewed for Piers Morgan's Life Stories programme.
Geri was said to have been deeply upset by the bombshell revelation in 2019, for which Mel has apparently never apologised.
Sources also say that Geri's husband Christian Horner was 'mortified' about Mel's claims.
Mel walked down the aisle for the third time in front of her celebrity friends on Saturday afternoon as she finally became Mrs McPhee.
She looked every inch the blushing bride in a pearl-adorned white gown as she married Rory during the stunning ceremony.
Celebrities in attendance include TV presenters Gaby Roslin and Angellica Bell, comedians Katherine Ryan and Alan Carr.
Leigh Francis, Cara Delevingne as well as the Spice Girls' former manager Simon Fueller were pictured at the ceremony.
Mel was able to get married at St Paul's Cathedral because of her OBE, which she got in 2022 for her services to charitable causes and vulnerable women, especially Woman's Aid.
It is the third time that Mel said 'I do' after first marrying Dutch backing dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998, who she shares her daughter Phoenix, 26, with.
After their split in 2000, Mel went on to welcome her second child Angel, 18 - who is a transgender man - with Eddie Murphy.
She wed Stephen Belafonte in 2007, first eloping to Las Vegas before holding a vow renewal in Egypt the following year.
The couple share a daughter Madison, 13, and separated in 2016 after a bitter split.

Superman film age classification card designed by Eastbourne girl
An East Sussex teenager has designed the age classification card that UK cinemas will show before screenings of the new Superman from Eastbourne, submitted artwork to a competition seeking a replacement for the traditional black card displaying the film's 12A age winning the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) contest, she met the film's stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan and Nicholas Hoult. The 14-year-old said: "It's a really big deal because I really like Superman and I think meeting the talent was the pinnacle of my life." "I think he's just a really refreshing character" who is "nice and positive", Elsie said. She said she chose colours that "would pop on screen" in her winning submission took "a few takes" to get right and was initially sketched before being coloured in with watercolours and paint pens. Elsie's design beat submissions from hundreds of secondary school pupils across the chief executive David Austin, who was on the judging panel, said Elsie's design "really captured Superman's spirit of hope" and the colours would be "really outstanding on the cinema screen". The 14-year-old only learned she would meet the Superman cast, as well as director James Gunn, when she arrived at the BBFC offices after being confirmed as the competition said: "Missing a day of school for that was awesome, the best excuse.""In the moment I was trying to keep it cool because I didn't want to embarrass myself, " she said, but the day after was "going round to all my friends saying 'guess what? guess who I just met?'""I don't think they really understood the severity of it. It was quite a big thing, which I didn't even realise until I found out I won, she told the BBC. The mega-fan, who said she had "probably" seen Superman films at least 50 times, also attended a fan preview of the new movie, which hits UK cinemas on Friday. Elsie's mum Liz said the family was "really proud" that her daughter's work had received recognition."I've only seen pictures but I can't wait to see the actual film and see it in real life," she said."I think I might possibly start crying."

Venezuela Fury receives ENORMOUS ‘I'm sorry, I love you' flowers from mystery ‘boyfriend' & fans have stark warning
MANY people don't want to cross a protective father-in-law - so imagine what it's like for Venezuela Fury, whose dad is boxer Tyson Fury. But it seems that one chap found himself in the dog house with 15-year-old Venezuela, as she revealed she received a gigantic bunch of apology flowers. 7 7 7 The eldest child of the 'Gypsy King' and wife Paris, posted a video on her public TikTok where she has 6 million likes showing off the colourful bouquet which was adorned with fake butterflies. The flowers had a card attached, which read: 'I'm sorry, I love you.' Although Venezuela didn't reveal who the flowers were from, fans were quick to speculate in the comments that it was from a boyfriend who had messed up and offered her a stark warning. One person wrote: 'Burn them.' Another added: 'Is he bothering you queen.' And a third commented: 'Burn them, he's not sorry.' Venezuela hasn't officially announced that she has a boyfriend, but she was seen at Royal Ascot with boxer Noah Price - who could be a candidate for sending the bouquet. The sports fan, who is an East Midlands belt holder, is the only bloke that Venezuela follows on Instagram that isn't her family. The boxer has shared a number of snaps on social media, including of his new 'van' and passing his driving test last year, which indicates he could now be aged over 18. They were previously seen with a group of friends together at a wedding last year. 'Beautiful' fans gasps as Venezuela Fury, 15, shows off her model-looks in 'stunning' gypsy wedding co-ord For the event, Venezuela stunned in a lemon yellow satin gown - a £443 number from Montaigne Market's Misha collection - which featured a high cowl neck, a backless draped detail and a thigh-high split. Venezuela teamed the dress with a rose gold Chanel bag that she borrowed from mum Paris, which probably comes in at around £10,000, and a pair of strappy heels. Paris and Tyson are parents to Venezuela, 15, Prince John James, 14, Prince Tyson II, eight, Valencia, seven, Prince Adonis Amaziah, six, Athena, three, and Prince Rico, two. The family recently opened their doors to Netflix for their At Home with the Furys documentary, which has been renewed for a second series. VENEZUELA LEAVING SCHOOL Two years ago, Paris confirmed that her two eldest children would not be returning to school. Paris explained that her eldest two would instead be home-schooled, as it is the ' traveller way.' Posting on Instagram, Paris took to her stories and shared: 'All four little ones are in school/nursery and the big two with tutor for homeschool.' This means that Venezuela and Prince John James undertake their studies from the Fury family's £1.7million Morecambe mansion instead. 7 7 She admitted she had experienced backlash from other parents about her choice to homeschool Venezuela, but insisted she's 'not taking away any chances' from her. Speaking on the show, Paris said: 'It's nothing new to us. It's what our culture, our race of people as gypsies and travellers, have always done. "We gave Venezuela the option - do you want to go to high school or be homeschooled? "I had such a bad backlash, 'you've took away her chances for this, her chance for that?' "I haven't took away her advantages because she will sit her levels and go through the full extent of schooling. "When she is 15 and 16, if she wants to go into further learning, she can." As explained on the Government website, you can teach your child at home, either full or part-time. Paris met her husband of 16-years at a mutual friend's wedding when she was just 15, like Venezuela, and the boxer was 17. Her and Tyson began dating when Paris turned 16 and were married when she was 19 and he was 21. So will Venezuela tread a similar path? Time will tell. How Venezuela Fury 'could be a millionaire by age 16' with her own modelling career WITH a heavyweight boxing champ for a dad and a bestselling author mum, it's likely that Venezuela Fury has a bright future ahead of her. And the 15-year-old is already shaping up to be one of the most popular teenagers on the internet, racking up 70,000 followers on Instagram and more than 200,000 followers on TikTok. The star has already caught the attention of modelling agencies, who have claimed that her unique style could make her a "millionaire by the time she's 16." Gemma Howorth, Founder of Body London Model Management is convinced that Venezuela's "gorgeous" looks and "strong social presence", could make her a lot of money from modelling - before she even turns 16. "Venezuela is very young but if correctly managed could really do well with a strong fashion-focused brand like Boohoo and then go on to develop an exciting modelling career," she said. According to Carol Needham, who runs Needham's Models, Venezuela could even follow in the footsteps of Katie Price's daughter, 17-year-old Princess Andre, and sign a deal with PrettyLittleThing. "Seeing someone like Venezuela Fury is truly unique," Carol said. "She's almost 6ft tall at 15 years old and has her own signature style in modelling, especially with her teapot pose. "I wouldn't be surprised if PrettyLittleThing wanted to snap her up!" Princess signed a four-figure deal with the fast-fashion brand back in January, and some experts predict the move could see her become a millionaire by the time she's 18. by Olivia Stringer, Fabulous Digital Writer
