From seeing the sights to hitting Arcadia for matcha, WAGs of golf stars soak up The Open in Portrush
American actress and model Jena Sims, wife of golfer Brooks Koepka, seems to be enjoying her visit to Portrush, sharing some amusing social media videos. In a post to her 108,000 TikTok fans after the couple arrived, the star gave followers a glimpse of the vista from her bedroom and commented on the 'insane view' before showing the other side, where cows could be seen lying in a field.
Resharing a video suggesting that such a sight indicates imminent rain, Jena added the caption 'These cows are going to be my meteorologists for the week' — before the heavens opened.
'This is classic British Open weather,' she commented.
The 2025 Sports Illustrated swimsuit model also shared a TikTok of her dancing with fellow WAGs Presleigh Schultz, Alayna Finau and Juju Chan, which was captioned: 'When the younger hot golf WAGS want to do TikToks.
She has also shared her haul of official Open merchandise, wearing a Varsity-style jumper , and says Portrush is a special place for her and her husband, stating that Brooks' caddie was born and raised in Northern Ireland, where good friend Graeme McDowell also hails.
The weather seems to be a little problematic for Jena, though: one video shows her wearing approximately seven layers of clothing and jokingly asking if that would be enough to watch the golf.
Before heading out to watch husband Brooks tee-off on day one of the Open, Jena shared that she had picked out 'super-cute outfits' but wasn't wearing any of them as it was 'colder than she thought'.
Meanwhile, Tony Finau's wife, Alayna Finau, has been visiting the local sights, including Dunluce Castle, with friends, adding that pictures and videos don't do the views justice.
A trip to Dunseverick Falls was also on the cards before the mum-of-six crossed Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.
Alayna also revealed that while she wanted to go to bed at 8pm on Wednesday night, the couple instead went to the beach for a swim.
Like her friend Jena, Alayna also seems to be cautious of the NI weather, sharing a video of herself putting her hair in braids because 'it probably will rain'.
She also has shared fun TikTok videos of herself and fellow WAGs dancing, while another video post shows her doing her make-up as her husband lies in bed beside her.
Erica Stoll, meanwhile, is said to be supporting husband Rory McIlroy with daughter Poppy at The Open.
The 37-year-old was working for the PGA when she met the Northern Irishman and is said to understand the pressures of his sport.
The couple married in 2017 and separated last year. Rory reportedly filed for divorce and then made a surprise U-turn.
Unlike the other WAGs, Erica is staying away from social media during the championship, but fans are hoping to catch a glimpse of the family as the tournament draws to an end.
Elsewhere, Alison Clarke has been supporting husband Darren Clarke on the golf course.
Being from Portrush, she is better prepared for the weather.
The former Miss NI and founder of ACA Models posted a video on Instagram showing some of her and Darren's best moments from June as the pair counted down to The Open.
Highlights included special memories from Wisconsin, the Bahamas, Akron, Colorado and Alison's birthday.

Julianna 'Juju' R Chan has made a series of videos about attending The Open with boyfriend Sahith Theegala.
The couple have been dating since attending university in 2017 where Juju excelled in swimming while Sahith went from strength to strength in golf.
The content creator posted a video in which she tried 'UK candy' and visited Portrush's Arcadia for matcha.
She also posted a 'get ready with me' video where she chatted about Sahith's journey to The Open and how much she has been enjoying her time in Portrush.

In another video, Juju visited the Giant's Causeway and made a wish at the famous rock formation.
'The walk down was about a mile but the views were gorgeous and absolutely worth it,' she said.
Presleigh Schultz, who is engaged to Akshay Bhatia, has made some TikToks alongside Juju. In one video, Presleigh mines: 'What do you do for living?'
Juju mines a reply: 'I shop, drink matcha, go to Pilates and stay beautiful — that's what I do.'
Akshay proposed to Presleigh in 2023 after dating for two years.
Aside from making golf-related content, Presleigh often caddies for her fiancé. She shared a photo of Akshay teeing off in intense rain with the caption 'Ideal golf weather'.
Another WAG caddie is Helen Storey, wife of Lee Westwood.
Helen shared a snap of the pair laughing together on the golf course, which was captioned 'All smiles for Team Westwood'. She has also posted Instagram Stories showcasing panoramic views over the greens.

Jess Glynne finally meets Jet2 holiday voiceover star Zoe Lister as their aeroplane advert goes viral
Jess Glynne has finally met the Jet2 holiday voiceover star Zoe Lister after their aeroplane advert became the latest trend on TikTok. Their viral sound has been all over social media this summer - with users adding the soundtrack over clips of travel fails - and while their advert has become a favourite for influencers, Jess, 35, and Zoe, 43, have never officially met. Now the duo have given their fans what they wanted as they recreated the advert live in the Capital Breakfast studio. Speaking with Jordan North and Chris Stark on their morning show, Zoe revealed that she has developed such a close bond with the singer that she feels she is 'in her band'. Referring to the song, Jordan said: 'It genuinely is a banger. You go in any club, and it sounds so good.' To which Chris said: 'But it's wild how you always hear that song whenever you go on a plane and then it's in the advert. 'And then, for reasons no one really understands, this summer, it just exploded on TikTok. Has it surprised you how massive this has all gone?' Jess replied: 'Yeah, it's a massive surprise one hundred per cent. It's the most amazing thing to see though. 'It's mad because I feel like when I do my gigs, I feel like when I go to sing the hook, I feel like they're waiting for me to go ''nothing beats a Jet 2 holiday''. It is tempting but I need to take this seriously it can't be a joke.' Chris replied: 'Well, we want to make this moment happen Jess. I'm not going to lie we want to do something very special this morning. 'The whole of the UK is so excited about this. I've had so many messages over the weekend. So, we've not just invited you guys. 'Obviously Rudimental are here, Jess Glynne you're here, we've also invited the voice of the Jet 2 holiday advert. She's here, please welcome to the show Zoe! To which Zoe quipped: 'We're bonded I feel like I'm basically in your band now To finish the conversation, Chris said: 'The dream here is getting you guys to do the sound, that everyone is hearing, live together!' Speaking with Jordan North and Chris Stark on their morning show, Zoe revealed that she has developed such a close bond with the singer that she feels she is 'in her band' It took a while for people to realise that the voice behind the viral - and widely spoofed - Jet2Holidays advert belongs to the British soap actress. The UK-based organisation's ad, which features popstar Jess's 'Hold My Hand', shows a family of four enjoying a fun-filled holiday abroad while the voiceover skips through the offers and discounts available. The high-energy voice that viewers hear throughout the 30-second 'Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday' ad has become almost as distinctive as Glynne's UK chart-topping track - but until recently people had no idea that it belonged to ex-Hollyoaks actress Zoë. Zoe played Zoe Carpenter in the Channel 4 show between 2006 and 2010, making a brief return in April 2017. A writer as well as a performer, mother-of-two Zoe has also contributed to 56 episodes of the soap, which marked its 30th anniversary this year. Other past acting jobs include roles in Midsomer Murders, Crime Stories and Staff Room. According to her management company Harvey Voice's website, she has been the voice of Jet2Holidays for four years. Yet, it was only relatively recently that the mother-of-two revealed herself as the voice of the ad on TikTok - much to fans' delight.

'I was dress coded by a flight attendant and it left me on the brink of tears'
"It was literally so embarrassing, just being s*** shamed in front of everybody" A woman claimed she was "dress coded" and "sl** shamed" by a flight attendant for what she was wearing on a plane. Singer Jacy boarded a Southwest Airlines flight in 2022 wearing a corset top. Due to the hot weather, with the temperature around 39C at the time, Jacy and many of her fellow flyers were wearing light clothing. But she was left on the brink of tears after the confrontation. She alleges that the cabin crew member approached her in front of other passengers and asked her to cover herself up. Not only was she hurt by the comment, Jacy felt she was "more clothed than half the plane". In a TikTok recorded after the incident, she said that the majority of travellers were wearing shorts and tank tops due to the heat, so she didn't understand why she was picked out - or her outfit deemed inappropriate. Another passenger, an actor called Melinna Bobadilla, stood up for Jacy - and claims she was thrown off the flight for doing so, The Mirror reports. Both women turned to social media in the aftermath of the 'dress coding' incident to tell their stories. Jacy, who goes by the TikTok username @maybejacy, said she was approached before getting on the plane. She said that the flight attendant tapped her on the shoulder and asked whether she had a jacket or another item of clothing she could use to put over the corset top. Jacy refused and the Southwest Airlines employee said she would get a T-shirt for the flyer to wear over her clothes. Jacy said she wouldn't wear it and boarded the plane as planned. Posting about the incident, she said: "I was literally going to cry. I was about to cry. It was literally so embarrassing, just being s*** shamed in front of everybody. If it wasn't for this lady [Melinna], my angel, I love her." Her TikTok video has accrued more than 620,000 likes since being posted. In it, Jacy is sitting in her seat holding up the T-shirt in question. She wrote: 'Bro I got dress coded on a flight? Are we in high school? Are you upset about my shoulders? It's 102F? My torso is fully clothed. And it caused a scene because some sweet lady stuck up for me and then got kicked off the flight." She captioned the video: "Give me my money back... or send me a bottle of expensive champagne." Melinna has since come forward on X, formerly Twitter, to tell her side of the story. She alleged that the flight attendant "became defensive when I asked about what rules the young woman was breaking." According to Melinna: "She responded with 'She is wearing a corset and this is a family company. Some people find it offensive.' I then told the employee that I felt threatened and offended by the man directly behind me wearing a 'Let's Go Brandon' shirt, and she did not care." She added: "Basically, Southwest Airlines s*** shamed a young woman of colour for wearing a tank top they deemed offensive, forced her to wear a company-issued sweater, removed me for questioning their misogynistic policy, exercised a double standard when enforcing an alleged offensive attire rule "The raggedy folks at Southwest Airlines in Sacramento disrespected two women of colour, endangered one by needlessly calling the cops, and went out of their way to protect a conservative white man. Yup, that tracks. Southwest Airlines is steamy, stale trash. Go out of business already." Southwest Airlines replied to Melinna's thread, which has been widely retweeted, advising her to message them directly with any further details about her experience. However, Melinna replied: "I don't have faith that this can be rectified via DMs Brenna, unless you are authorised to issue an official apology, reimburse me for all costs incurred related to booking new travel, and issue a check for damages and emotional distress." Melinna went on to claim she had called up the airline, only to be placed on hold for more than an hour on two separate calls, meaning she was unable to resolve the matter. She also advised she will be seeking legal counsel. The Mirror approached Southwest Airlines for comment when the story first came to light in 2022. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!

Couple explore 'second least visited country' in Europe – and are left stunned
Europe is full of popular tourist spots, but it also has some hidden gems that are just as beautiful. One couple went to the continent's second least visited country and described it as 'stunning". A couple were left spellbound after going to Europe's second least visited country. Some holidaymakers might shy away from lesser-known destinations, fearing a lack of tourists means they are less appealing. Europe is brimming with tourist hotspots like Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Amsterdam, and Greece's Santorini. But, travel vloggers Chris and Reanna are on the hunt for Europe's hidden gems. The adventurous duo has journeyed through 50 countries but grew weary of the usual tourist traps and elbowing through crowds. In their search for quieter places, they set their sights on uncovering Europe's most underrated spots that deserve to be on travellers' bucket lists, despite being off the beaten path. In a recent TikTok video, the pair divulged their experience in Liechtenstein, Europe's fourth tiniest nation, home to just 39,850 people as per the latest data. Nestled between Austria and Switzerland, Liechtenstein is a German-speaking country. Reanna gushed over the country in their TikTok video, saying: "It might be tiny but it's packed with fairy tale castles, some of the most gorgeous lakes you've ever seen and incredible mountain views." The globetrotting enthusiast suggested that while Liechtenstein can be ticked off in a day trip from Switzerland, it's worth staying for the night to catch the "stunning" Stausee Steg lake at sunset. Reanna recommends for visiting the picturesque Gutenberg Castle, where you can "admire the incredible views over the country". She also suggests taking a trip to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein and home of Prince Hans-Adam II. The royal family of Liechtenstein lives in Vaduz Castle, perched on a hill with origins dating back to the 12th century. Although the medieval castle isn't open to the public, it stands as a significant landmark, accessible via a walking path, offering tourists breathtaking views from atop the hill. Tripadvisor notes that Vaduz boasts a car-free, pedestrianised centre, allowing tourists to stroll at their leisure. The country is celebrated for its stunning alpine landscapes, especially its mountains, which are a magnet for winter sports fans. Malbun, a ski resort village in Liechtenstein, draws crowds for winter activities. Beyond the slopes, the tiny nation is dotted with an array of museums and art galleries. Chris and Reanna's TikTok video showcasing Liechtenstein's charm, has garnered 27,400 views, more than 1,000 likes, and numerous comments.
