The pop star Kesha has expressed her regret at writing a song lyric referring to notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.
'Be too sweet, and you'll be a goner (Yep),' the 38-year-old wrote. 'I'll pull a Jeffrey Dahmer.'
The lyrics were contained in her 2010 son Cannibal.
Kesha (last name Sebert) admitted to People on Thursday: 'Oh my God, I got re-canceled for the Jeffrey Dahmer lyric. It was a controversial lyric.
'If some people aren't offended by what I'm doing, I'm probably not doing a very good job of being a pop star.'
Between 1978 and 1991, Dahmer killer raped, killed, and dismembered 17 boys and men. He was beaten to death by a fellow prison inmate in 1994.
Meanwhile, Kesha tweeted her support for Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura on Wednesday following the shocking split verdict at the Diddy trial.
'Cassie, I believe you,' Kesha, who boasts 43.1 million social media followers, tweeted. 'I love you. Your strength is a beacon for every survivor.'
Diddy was facing life in prison before a jury of eight men and four women found him not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
Kesha and the Scissor Sisters will next bring their joint 26-date The T**s Out Tour to the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, on Thursday night.

Bride mercilessly mocked over 'diabolical' wedding day surprise for her husband

Wedding videos usually go viral because of sweet moments between the bride and groom, beautiful details from the decorations, or even funny one-liners during speeches. But for one bride, her surprise choreographed solo-dance for her groom (in front of all of her guests) has taken off for different reasons. TikTok user Alexis Jennings (@alexojennings) recently posted a throwback video of her dance from her wedding three years prior. In overwritten text, she explained: 'That time I performed a dance on my wedding day knowing my religious family would look down on it.' In the caption she wrote, 'Debated doing this for so long that by the time I convinced myself to do it, I only had less than two months to learn the choreography. DO WHAT YOU WANT ON YOUR WEDDING DAY LADIES. My man loved it. 'To further explain, I purposefully wore this covered up outfit and played down the dance moves out of respect for said religious family.' In the video, she's dancing to Beyonce's End of Time while wearing an all-white sweat suit and a black shirt underneath in front of her husband who is mostly out of the shot, but can be seen sitting still watching her. While she is dancing, children run past the stage and some wedding guests can be seen completely ignoring her. Social media users mocked the dance, joking that her husband would be 'googling annulment facts' after the dance But it didn't seem like her 'religious family' at the wedding had much to say about her move - some members even recorded her and looked excited. It was the people in the comments of her TikTok that were quicker to offer judgement. 'He's googling annulment facts as soon as this clip ends,' one user joked. 'I would've been dying of laughter,' another said. 'In broad daylight is diabolical,' another commented, mockingly. Most of the comments under Jennings' video share similar sentiments - but that didn't stop the former bride from clapping back. 'Y'all roasting me is killing me,' she commented. 'The mean comments are only telling me what I already know - you're not gonna hurt my feelings. It's TIKTOK doing its "thang." It's all love.' In fact, she was so unbothered that she posted a second clip of the dance as a response. In this follow-up video, she continued the dance to Beyoncé's Upgrade U. She had similar right-to-left movements, something she chalks up to having to 'improvise' due to forgetting the moves. And though the second video was Jennings' way of telling off haters, they continued to fire off insults in the comments, including: 'Me in 3rd grade at our talent show.' 'How long was this damn dance,' one user asked.

A synopsis for the latest series read: "It's a losing battle every single day in the restaurant business. Carmy pushes himself harder than ever, and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity. "Their quest for culinary excellence will propel the crew to new levels and stress the bonds that hold the restaurant together.
