Tributes to mum-of-three Abby Storey after A66 Workington crash

The family of a mother-of-three who died in a car crash has paid tribute to her, saying she "brought laughter and joy wherever she went".Abby Storey, 35, from Workington, and another man in his 30s, died in a collision between two cars on the A66 near the Cumbrian town, on Saturday 12 July.The front-seat passengers of both cars, including Ms Storey, were pronounced dead at the scene while both drivers were taken to hospital with serious injuries.Her family said she was a "proud and adoring mother to her three beautiful children, in whom her memory will live on every day".
"Her energy was unmatched, from her wild dance moves to her passion for karaoke, she brought laughter and joy wherever she went," a statement released through Cumbria Police added."Though her life was cut short, she lived it with incredible spirit, ambition and love."The crash between the Audi A3 and Ford Focus saw the road at Twenty Row closed for several hours.

A TEENAGER has died after a horror e-bike crash. Police in Northumberland have launched an urgent investigation following the incident in Bedlington. The 19-year-old died following the crash yesterday afternoon. Cops received reports of a one-vehicle collision involving a black and red Talaria electric motorcycle on Moorland Avenue at around 3pm. The unnamed teenager died shortly after emergency crews arrived at the scene. Sergeant Christopher Herron, of Northumbria Police Roads Policing Unit, said: 'This is a tragic incident, and our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the young man who has sadly passed away. "Our specialist officers will continue to offer them any support they may need. 'As part of our investigation, we're looking to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time. "Any information you may have could be crucial in helping us understand the moments leading up to the incident, so please get in touch.' Motorcyclist dies in Haywards Heath crash

A man in his 20s has died in a motorcycle crash in Haywards Heath, according to Sussex Police. The force said the single-vehicle crash happened on A272 Rocky Lane, near the junction with Cedar Avenue, at around 22:20 BST on Friday. Emergency services attended and gave "immediate life-saving action" but the man died at the scene, it said. The man's family has been informed, police confirmed. Rockey Lane, from Virginia Drive to Bolnore village roundabout, has reopened after it was closed while officers investigated the incident. Sussex Police urged anyone who may have seen the motorcycle being ridden before the crash or has footage of what happened to get in contact.
