Last Updated:
Teaser for Ek Din, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, may release alongside Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par in theaters on June 20, 2025.
After making his silver-screen debut with Loveyapa, Junaid Khan teams up with Sai Pallavi for his next venture, tentatively titled Ek Din. Shot during a snowy festival in Sapporo, Japan, the project was initially lined up for a Valentine's Day release.
Now, insiders tell Bollywood Hungama that the teaser will launch in theatres with Aamir Khan's upcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par, releasing June 20, 2025. 'The film is ready and up for release and Aamir and his team felt that Sitaare Zameen Par would be the right way to let the world know about it. Sitaare Zameen Par is expected to have a huge turnout and hence, a huge section of moviegoers will get acquainted with Junaid and Sai's movie," a source shared.
The teaser strategy comes after Ek Din's release was postponed due to Loveyapa, which arrived on February 7, 2025, to mixed reviews and a subpar box-office performance.
Earlier, in a chat with News18 Showsha, Junaid had praised co-star Sai Pallavi and expressed his thoughts on the upcoming release. 'Sai Pallavi is absolutely fantastic. I've my fingers crossed for this one," he had said.
About Sitaare Zameen Par
Set to release on Friday, June 20, Sitaare Zameen Par stars Aamir alongside Genelia Deshmukh, Aroush Datta, and others. The screenplay is by Divy Nidhi Sharma, with Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy composing the music, Ram Sampath scoring the background, and visuals by cinematographer Srinivas Reddy. Charu Shree Roy handles the editing.
After days of speculation surrounding a possible delay, Aamir Khan's much-anticipated film, Sitaare Zameen Par, has officially received its clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), confirming its theatrical release on June 20, 2025.
The film, billed as a spiritual successor to Khan's critically acclaimed 2007 drama Taare Zameen Par, had recently made headlines over reports suggesting a dispute between the actor-producer and the CBFC regarding proposed cuts. While neither party issued a public statement about the nature of the disagreement, it appears the issue has now been resolved.

Maa Day 2 Box Office: Kajol starrer shows healthy 30 percent growth to net Rs 6.25 crore on Saturday; Will it emerge a success?

Maa directed by Vishal Furia and starring Kajol, Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta and a bunch of other actors, grew by around 30 percent on day 2, to net Rs 6 - 6.50 crore net. The growth is healthy and while there was scope for better growth, this is pretty acceptable since the movie, in the first place, was not a non-starter. Maa Nets Rs 6.25 Crore On Day 2; 2 Day Total Stands At Rs 11 Crore Clubbed with Rs 4.75 crore net on day 1, the two day total of Maa stands at Rs 11 crore. The Sunday number should be in the Rs 6.75 - 7 crore vicinity, for a Rs 17.75 - 18 crore net India weekend. These collections should be seen very positively since there are coming amidst stiff competition from F1 and Sitaare Zameen Par. Despite being the lowest grosser of the three this weekend, it is the best performer in mass circuits. The presence of Kajol, along with the lucrativeness of the supernatural genre and the connection to Shaitaan, seems to have served the film well. The Day Wise Net India Collections Of Maa In India Are As Under Maa Faces Stiff Competition At The Box Office Next Week After the weekend, it will be very crucial for Maa to hold strong. This is because the film based on Kali Maa faces two new rivals next week in the form of Metro... In Dino and Jurassic World Rebirth.
