Apoorva Mukhija feels Khushi Kapoor handled negative feedback for Nadaaniyan with grace and maturity: 'People are really harsh with nepo babies'
Content creator and actor Apoorva Mukhija, better known as The Rebel Kid, is steadily carving her space in the entertainment world, from appearing on reality shows like The Traitors to starring in Dharma Productions' Nadaaniyan. In a recent interview, she reflected on her experience working with Khushi Kapoor and addressed the comparisons that followed their debut. 'Khushi works hard for it, she deserves it' Speaking about her co-star, Apoorva had nothing but admiration for Khushi Kapoor. 'Khushi is one of the sweetest people I have met. She has an insane work ethic,' she told Screen. According to Apoorva, Khushi's quiet drive was visible from the beginning. 'Even when we were speaking on the sets of Nadaaniyan, she was like, 'I hope people start taking me seriously after this film.' There are people who really want something; she is one of those people, and I am sure there are great things coming up for her. She deserves it; she works hard for it.' 'She'd shoot for 16 hours and still go to the gym' Apoorva recalled their long shooting hours and how Khushi remained focused throughout. 'We used to shoot for 14–16 hours, and she used to still go to the gym; that's commendable. What I picked up from her was work ethic,' she noted. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo Though Nadaaniyan received a mixed response from audiences, Apoorva feels Khushi handled the feedback with grace and maturity. Apoorva Mukhija Evicted After 'Latent' Controversy | Chaos, Police & Silent Exit 'You don't need to put someone down to uplift another' Apoorva also addressed the online comparisons between her performance and Khushi's, which have sparked heated discussions on social media. 'I think it's a bias more than anything else. Khushi did great work in the film. People are really harsh with nepo babies in general,' she said. 'I don't think we need to put down somebody else to make another one feel better. It can be done without comparison. Apoorva did great acting, I appreciate the compliments, but the comments about how I performed better than her... we don't need to do all this.' Friendship with Ibrahim Ali Khan and Bigg Boss buzz On her bond with Ibrahim Ali Khan, who has also been in the spotlight recently, she revealed, 'Ibrahim and I have met quite a lot, and we chill often.' While Nadaaniyan may not have set the box office on fire, if the industry buzz is true, fans might just see Apoorva next in a brand-new avatar on Bigg Boss 19.

Burberry's mesmerising vinyl records are nothing short of an optical illusion
Burberry has taken a stylish detour into the world of music and it's turning heads for all the right reasons. Known for its iconic trench coats and timeless check patterns, the British fashion house recently dropped something entirely unexpected: a set of custom vinyl records. But these aren't your average LPs - they double as optical illusions. And fans online can't get enough. While spinning-record illusions aren't a new concept, Burberry's take feels sleek, hypnotic and incredibly on-brand. The records feature animated designs that come alive when played – offering a fascinating blend of music, art and motion. The first vinyl includes a reinterpretation of Burberry's classic check pattern. As it turns out, the record creates a looping illusion to the tune of Liquid's 1992 rave hit, Sweet Harmony. It's part of a collaboration with artist Drew Tetz, who specialises in phenakistoscope-style animation – a technique that predates cinema and uses spinning discs to create moving images. The second design focuses on the Equestrian Knight, one of Burberry's oldest and most recognisable logos. Set in a repeat pattern, the knight appears to gallop in motion once the vinyl spins, bringing the historic symbol to life in a new, modern way. Reactions online were swift. 'I desperately need this to be a real record,' one fan wrote. Another added, 'I need it right now in my vinyl collection.' On Instagram, many praised the concept as a branding masterstroke, with one user commenting, 'Burberry are smashing socials rn (sic).' Beyond the design world, the release also taps into music nostalgia and Gen Z's vinyl revival. It's rare to see a fashion brand jump into physical media in such a striking, tactile way – and rarer still to do it this well. So far, there's no word on whether the records will be made available for public purchase, but that hasn't stopped the buzz. Between the clever visual trickery and the high-fashion aesthetic, Burberry's vinyls are already a collector's dream in the making. Yes, some illusions can hint at how you perceive the world and process visual information. Rubin's Vase and the Dress are among the most famous optical illusions in popular culture. They reveal how our brain can misinterpret visual cues like shape, motion, and depth. It's a visual trick that causes you to see something that differs from reality.

It was around 9:30-10 pm and she was sitting on a sofa. I was scared because I was new. She said, 'I have heard you come late on my sets. What do you think? We will wait for you?' Later, she started laughing and said she wanted to offer me Kasautii Zindagi Kay. She said, 'Prerna is my dream. I want you to play that.'"
