Rihanna shines at A$AP Rocky's Paris Fashion Week show
Rihanna turned heads at Paris Men's Fashion Week on Friday as she supported her partner, A$AP Rocky, at his AWGE fashion show. The Barbadian superstar, who is expecting her third child, brought along her 10-month-old son, Riot Rose. Rihanna, 37, made motherhood look effortless as she wore a bold, colourful button-up shirt with a striking red sleeve and blue striped centre. She paired it with a navy tennis skirt, tall grey socks, and white lacy slingback heels. A bright yellow tote and gold jewellery completed her look. Her hair fell in loose curls, and she opted for a natural makeup style, according to Page Six. Speaking to reporters, Rihanna said, 'Being a mum is my greatest joy. I want my kids to see me doing what I love and to be part of these moments.' Riot Rose, dressed in a black moto jacket with a Harley-Davidson patch, white shirt, and purple joggers, melted hearts. He finished the look with baby Vans sneakers and tall white socks. His hair was styled in neat braids. Cameras caught the little one waving shyly before turning away from the flashes. A$AP Rocky, 36, beamed as his family cheered him on. The couple, who also have a son named RZA (born May 2022), looked relaxed and happy. Earlier that day, the family attended Dior's Homme men's spring 2026 show, sitting front row. For Dior, Rihanna wore a black cape with floral embroidery and a contrasting turquoise and orange lining. She layered it over a mint green blazer and white shirt, finishing with slouchy grey trousers. She accessorised with yellow-tinted sunglasses and sparkling jewellery. Rocky wore a light blue shirt, dark jeans, and a bold, colourful tie. He carried a beige fringe bag with matching tassels. Both Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are known for their trendsetting style. Their presence at Paris Fashion Week was a highlight for many who admire their creativity and family values. As Rihanna prepares to welcome her third child, she continues to inspire fans worldwide. Her message is clear: family and passion can go hand in hand. 'Family is everything to me,' Rihanna shared. 'I hope my children grow up knowing they can achieve anything.' WATCH: Dream comes true for student who managed to get Tyla as his date for his matric dance
Matriculant Mollwane Madiba's dream came true when Grammy award-winning singer Tyla showed up to his matric dance. A dream come true: matric student Mollwane Madiba with his date, Tyla at his matric dance. Picture: @BALUCIAGA/X Dreams come true for those who are persistent and patient enough. These words hold true for matric student Mollwane Madiba. After months of campaigning like a politician in election season and with a child-like conviction that was borderline delusional, Madiba's dream of having Grammy award-winning singer Tyla as his matric dance partner come true. The South African global star attended the matric dance after many people thought Madiba's dream wouldn't become a reality. Even a day before the dance, doubt began to creep in as Madiba started asking people who might be interested in being his date to reach out to him. 'I just got to Sandton to get my suit, I don't want to go to this dance alone,' he said in a video. 'If there's anyone who wants to go with me, message me ASAP [as soon as possible].' In one video students ask 'Who do you think Mollwane is taking to MD?' followed by responses of 'Tyla, obviously.' Using the hashtag #MOandTYLAForMD, almost all the videos feature Tyla's song Push 2 Start. Madiba has seemingly met Tyla, as he has a photo of himself with the Water singer. In one video shot in what appears to be a school library, the photo of the two is displayed prominently on bookshelves, walls and wherever it can be seen. Justin Snaith chases sixth Durban July winner after Eight On Eighteen drawn promising stall 11
South African champion racehorse trainer Justin Snaith will be in the hunt for his sixth Hollywoodbets Durban July winner. | RACE COAST As South Africa's champion trainer, Justin Snaith, chases his sixth July win, one of his entries Eight On Eighteen, has secured a promising stall eleven draw, something that could significantly influence the horse's chances of claiming victory in this prestigious event. Eight On Eighteen, the Drakenstein-bred son of the late War Front champion, Lancaster Bomber, features prominently in a competitive 2025 Hollywoodbets Durban July field of 18 horses for Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday, July 5. The anticipation surrounding the Hollywoodbets Durban July is palpable as the big day on Saturday, July 5, draws nearer. Featured prominently among the top contenders is the Justin Snaith-trained Eight On Eighteen, who has secured a promising stall eleven draw—something that could significantly influence the horse's chances of claiming victory in this prestigious event. However, Snaith's other two entries were not as fortunate in the draw. Okavango will have to navigate from stall thirteen, while Native Ruler faces the challenge of the widest barrier, stall eighteen. This year's Durban July will have female representation in the event. Rainbow Lorikeet, trained by Candice Bass-Robinson, is the sole female runner this year, contrasting with last year's notable absence of female competitors. While Eight On Eighteen's draw may seem advantageous, his handler Richard Fourie, who is eyeing a fourth win in this iconic race, must carefully manage the early stages, particularly in avoiding being boxed in among the wide field. In a surprising twist, veteran jockey Andrew Fortune, at the age of 58, could make history if he guides Okavango to victory, potentially becoming the oldest July-winning jockey, surpassing Piere Strydom's record set in 2016. The draw luck varied among other competitors as well. The powerful duo of Royal Victory and See It Again are grappling with tougher positions; Royal Victory will launch from draw 17 while See It Again faces the challenges of draw 15, which is known to be unfavourable for horses that tend to start slowly. Meanwhile, local owner Grant Cornwall expressed satisfaction with his horse Atticus Finch's excellent draw of four. Rainbow Lorikeet's assistant trainer, Terry Fripp, was overjoyed with the ideal draw of seven—a number he cherishes. Both Glen Kotzen and S'Manga Khumalo celebrated the favourable draw of three for On My Honour. Last year's champion, Oriental Charm, elicited cheers for drawing pole position, yet some suggest this may impose a burden of early energy expenditure. Nevertheless, owner Greg Bortz remains optimistic about the draw's potential, especially with the horse's remarkable gate speed. The stakes are high not just for the horses and their connections but also for viewers who relish the excitement of each race, knowing that positions drawn can often dictate fortune on the track. The only uncertainty that remains is how the dynamics of the draw will play out as they thunder down the last furlong.
