How to watch 'Mix Tape' online from anywhere

Daniel and Alison meet as teenagers in Sheffield, South Yorkshire in 1989 and fall in love as teenagers he sends her a "Mix Tape", hence the name of this four part Irish-Australian drama which critics are calling a 'sweet, intense romance'. Here's how to watch "Mix Tape" online from anywhere with a VPN — and potentially for free. "Mix Tape" is already available on Binge in Australia. It arrives in the U.K. and U.S. later this year.• Australia – Binge 7-day free trial• U.S. — Date TBC• U.K. — Summer 2025 on BBC iPlayer • Watch anywhere — try NordVPN 100% risk free And so it plays out, over four episodes, between Sheffield (where Daniel has remained as a music journalist) and Sydney (home to best-selling novelist) Alison. When social media provides the means to a reconnect, it becomes instantly apparent that something is still very much alive in the relationship. Both are married to other people (and have children), however. Ah. While two people who are meant to be (or were they?) wrestle with the situation we get slick flashbacks and flash forwards and, of course, a brilliant soundtrack. One quibble, please can we have some legislation to stop "Love will Tear Us Apart" being included in every other film or TV series? It just about escapes here given the title and crux of the show but it's ubiquity is killing its importance. Read on to find out how to watch "Mix Tape" (2025) online, on TV and from anywhere. TV drama "Mix Tape" premiered on Binge in Australia on Thursday, June 12. It is still available to stream. Abroad? Don't panic you can tune in back home on your usual domestic streaming platform by using a VPN such as NordVPN. Thanks to the wonders of a VPN (Virtual Private Network), "Mix Tape" should be available no matter where they are. The app allows your devices to appear to be back in your home country regardless of where in the world you find yourself. Our favorite is NordVPN. There's a good reason you've heard of NordVPN. We specialize in testing and reviewing VPN services and NordVPN is the one we rate best. It's outstanding at unblocking streaming services, it's fast and it has top-level security features too. With over 7,000 servers, across 110+ countries, and at a great price too, it's easy to recommend. Get over 70% off with this NordVPN deal Using a VPN is incredibly simple. 1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we've said, NordVPN is our favorite. 2. Choose the location you wish to connect to in the VPN app. For instance, if you're away from Australia and want to view Binge, you'd select Australia. from the list. 3. Sit back and watch the show. Head to Binge to watch "Mix Tape" online and on-demand now. You can watch a 2021 film called "Mixtape" but not, as yet, this 2025 four-part Irish-Australian drama. There is no release date for the latter (and far superior) production. If that changes you'll read it here first. However, if you are a Brit in the States for work or on vacation you will be able to catch the show by using a VPN such as NordVPN, choosing U.K. from the list and selecting BBC iPlayer. If you live in the U.K. then you can catch "Mix Tape" when it arrives on BBC Two this summer (2025). It will also be available to stream on BBC iPlayer. You'll find out the release date here first. You don't have to miss it if you an Aussie exiled abroad because you can unblock Binge and watch all four parts now with a VPN. We recommend NordVPN. As with the U.S., "Mix Tape" has no release date in the Great White North as yet (and it's not the same "Mixtape" on Netflix). However, if you are an Aussie in Canada for work or on vacation you can catch the show on your own domestic streaming platform by using a VPN such as NordVPN. Episode 01: In Sheffield in 1989, teenagers Daniel and Alison meet at a house party and bond over their shared love for music. The relationship they forge that night follows them forever. Episode 02: Daniel and Alison's relationship deepens through mixtapes, but Alison hides a secret. Years later, Daniel revisits her, wondering if she's still the same woman. Episode 03: In 1989, Alison's home life goes from bad to worse as she takes on caring for Peter. In 2015, Daniel struggles with Alison's revelations of what occurred during their relationship twenty years ago. Episode 04: In 1989, Daniel is left reeling and heartbroken due to Alison's sudden disappearance. In 2015, a surprise betrayal takes Daniel by surprise, but he has to fight for what he loves. It is. The acclaimed novel of the same name was written by Jane Sanderson and published in 2020. You can buy Mix Tape on Amazon (Kindle, audio book, hardcover and paperback). The Future Of Travel Loyalty Belongs To Gen Z And The Banana Effect

If you ask a Gen Zer whether they'd rather earn points toward a first-class flight or snag a last-minute pass to a pop-up Michelin dinner, the answer is likely swift—and it's not the upgrade. For a generation that treats experiences as social currency, loyalty is no longer about status or long-haul perks. It's about immediate access to the moments that define them. This evolution isn't a fluke—it's a recalibration of consumer values, and the smartest brands are already in play. (Photo byfor iHeartRadio) Gen Z's Experience-First Mindset Unlike the generations before them, Gen Z sees travel and experiences not as luxuries but as vital life investments. 'They're not waiting until they've saved for retirement or climbed the corporate ladder,' one executive told me. 'They want it all now—and they want it to fit into their on-demand lifestyle.' Global exploration, food adventures, cultural immersion—these aren't aspirational someday-goals. They're happening now, often powered by flexible loyalty ecosystems that understand the assignment. In this context, co-branded airline cards that lock users into one ecosystem feel archaic. Gen Z values choice and immediacy. They don't want to be loyal to a brand—they want brands to be loyal to their lifestyle. The Banana Effect: Loyalty Points Are Rotting One of the hidden dynamics in legacy loyalty programs is what I call the 'banana effect': loyalty points that decay in value faster than consumers can use them. As airlines prioritize cash-paying customers for premium seats, redemptions become frustratingly elusive. According to Adam Schaffer author of Symbia Advisors 2025 report, many airlines recognize a significant chunk of partner point sales as short-term revenue while deferring the liability for point redemption. This disconnect between brand economics and customer benefit has led to a trust gap. Gen Z, ever pragmatic, is opting out of the waiting game. They're not banking miles—they're burning points for real-time access to music festivals, culinary events, and sports experiences. They crave what's attainable and emotionally resonant, not just mathematically optimal. Southwest Airlines Aims To Mitigate The Banana Effect Always an innovator the airline has prioritized immediacy of rewards. While Southwest has been on the hot seat for changing some elements of their loyalty program the immediacy is a strong strategic fit to what consumers seek from best-in-class reward programs. Industry experts estimate Southwest burned down roughly 70% of their points liability in the last year. Brands like American, Delta, United are estimated to have burned roughly 40 to 50% of their reward points in the last year. The implication is that Southwest has designed a program with more immediate benefits and is attempting to reduce the 'banana effect' problem consumers can have with loyalty programs that create levels that aren't attainable to their usage behavior. From OTA to Emotionally Intelligent Brands This is where brands like Chase, Capital One, and Amex are rewriting the rules. They've evolved from financial institutions into lifestyle curators. Their travel portals, music festival tie-ins, and lounge networks aren't just add-ons—they're emotional anchors. One leader noted, 'The fastest-growing segment of redemptions is now outside of traditional travel. The challenge—and opportunity—is to design ecosystems that make those moments frictionless.' Chase's Sapphire Lounge access, Capital One's experiential marketing activations, and Amex's 'Front of the Line' concert perks are signals of this future. These aren't perks—they're proof points of a brand that understands emotional ROI. Loyalty as an Ecosystem, Not a Program The shift from miles to moments requires a new brand playbook. Loyalty can no longer be confined to transactional systems. It must evolve into a dynamic, experience-rich ecosystem that feels as seamless and flexible as a swipe on TikTok. As one executive emphasized, 'We're not just in the travel or finance game—we're in the memory-making business. The more we can design for joy, relevance, and speed, the more we win Gen Z hearts—not just wallets.' That's the essence of playing offense. Waiting for a frustrated customer to complain about blackout dates is defense. Proactively engineering delightful, accessible experiences is offense—and it's where loyalty is truly earned. Win the Moment, Win the Generation Gen Z doesn't want to collect things. They want to collect stories. That means brands must rethink not only how loyalty is earned and spent, but how it's felt. Those who deliver on immediacy, choice, and emotional relevance will rise above the noise. Those who don't? They'll fade into the background, forgotten in a feed filled with moments from brands that got it right.

Kneecap Shocks as Expected With Raucous Glastonbury Set: 'The BBC Editor Is Going to Have Some Job'

Kneecap shocked exactly as expected at a raucous Glastonbury set on Saturday. The Irish rap trio has drawn widespread criticism in recent months, with one of the members, Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, charged with a terror offence last month. Glastonbury partner, the BBC, stood by their decision to air their set, despite U.K. culture secretary Lisa Nandy's comments that the band 'thrive on the oxygen of publicity.' Nandy said Thursday: 'Personally, I don't want to see that on TV screens.' More from The Hollywood Reporter Karlovy Vary's Karel Och on Mixing RPG Cinematic Debut, Gloomy Auteur Fare and That Iran Film Beatles' Apple Corps Names Tom Greene As New CEO AMC Theatres Strikes Deals to Resolve Litigation, Boost Balance Sheet, Touts Box Office Outlook On Saturday afternoon at Glastonbury's West Holts stage, which was fenced off as they came on due to overcrowding, Ó hAnnaidh told the 30,000-person crowd: 'Glastonbury, I'm a free man!' Clips of newsreaders announcing his terror charge played before the band came on, as well as pro-Palestine messages and videos of various U.K. politicians criticizing the decision to have the band play at the festival. 'The amount of Palestinian flags I can see is insane,' Ó hAnnaidh also said. 'The BBC editor is going to have some job.' The band members continued, discussing Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis and his daughter, who now runs the festival, Emily: 'A big thank you to the Eavis family. The pressure that that family was under and they stood strong,' they said of being allowed to perform, 'Fair play to them.' 'The prime minister of your country didn't want us to play… So fuck Keir Starmer!' The band repeated this sentiment a lot over the course of the one-hour set, getting the audience to chant it back to them. Re-emphasizing their pro-Palestine views, Kneecap was critical of the British and U.S. governments and the U.S. media. In May, the Met Police said it would investigate after online videos showed the band calling for the death of British parliament ministers, as well as chanting 'up Hamas, up Hezbollah.' It is illegal in the U.K. to express support for Hezbollah, a Shia Muslim political and military group in Lebanon, as it is considered a terrorist organization in Britain. Kneecap, which also includes members Naoise Ó Cairealláin and J.J. Ó Dochartaigh, said the video in question has been taken out of context and that they have never supported Hamas or Hezbollah. Ó hAnnaidh is due in a London court in late August. The trio, stars of Rich Peppiatt's 'print the legend' biopic, have also raised eyebrows for expressing their pro-Palestine views on stage. After news of Ó hAnnaidh's charge, the band took to defend themselves. 'This is political policing. This is a carnival of distraction. 14,000 babies are about to die of starvation in Gaza, with food sent by the world sitting on the other side of a wall, and once again, the British establishment is focused on us.' Last year, the movie Kneecap, also starring Michael Fassbender, dominated film headlines. Director Peppiatt made BAFTA history by tying the record for nominations for a debut filmmaker with six. He won one BAFTA — namely for outstanding debut by a British writer, director, or producer — serving as both writer and director of the film. But the group's political views have gotten them into hot water. In April, they displayed messages about the ongoing war in Gaza during their Coachella set, leading to the cancellation of their concerts in Germany. Later, they parted ways with their booking agency Independent Artist Group, sources confirm to The Hollywood Reporter. Glastonbury Festival runs from June 25-29.
