The Duke Blue Devils and Murray State Racers are playing in a winner-take-all Game 3 of the Durham Super Regional on Monday. The winner of the game will advance to the College World Series in Omaha, and the loser's season will be over.
Duke won the first game of the series, but Murray State evened it up on Sunday, blowing out the Blue Devils 19-9 at Jack Coombs Field in Durham, North Carolina. Duke battled back and made it a 10-8 game in the sixth inning, but the Racers scored nine runs in the seventh inning to take control of the game.
The Blue Devils are looking for their first-ever series win in the Super Regional round, losing their previous three in the decisive third game. Murray State is playing in the first Super Regional in program history and has never been to the CWS.

Advice and Prediction
Best Bet: Duke -250
The Blue Devils are the heavy favorites for the game, and they should be. Yes, they got blown out in Game Two on Sunday, but they have been excellent at home all season and should be playing in front of another excellent crowd. They haven't lost back-to-back home games this season, and it won't happen on Monday as Duke does enough to win the game and punch their ticket to the College World Series for the first time since 1961.

One International Game Every Year for Each NFL Team is on 'The Horizon'

Could an increase in international regular-season games a year be in the near future for the NFL? It's certainly a possibility. In fact, an "international game every year for every team" is "probably on the horizon," according to Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank, per NBC Sports. Blank's comments during an interview at Falcons training camp on Saturday come months after league commissioner Roger Goodell said last fall that the NFL wants to stage 16 international games per year. The league is limited to a maximum of 10 international games per year under the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, but that number is reportedly widely expected to increase to 16 in the next labor deal. With 32 NFL teams, that would be a big lift for the league to schedule that many international games every season. In May, the league announced the full matchups for all but one game in its record seven-game international slate, which includes the Minnesota Vikings playing back-to-back games in different European countries (Ireland and England). The one matchup that hasn't been announced is who the Los Angeles Chargers will play in Week 1 in Brazil. The current schedule is: Week 1 (Friday, Sept. 5): TBD vs. Chargers at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil (Time TBD) Week 4 (Sunday, Sept. 28): Vikings vs. Steelers at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 5 (Sunday, Oct. 5): Vikings vs. Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 6 (Sunday, Oct. 12): Broncos vs. Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 7 (Sunday, Oct. 19): Rams vs. Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in Wembley, England (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 10 (Sunday, Nov. 9): Falcons vs. Colts at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany (9:30 a.m. ET) Week 11 (Sunday, Nov. 16): Commanders vs. Dolphins in Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain (9:30 a.m. ET) Want great stories delivered right to your inbox? How to watch 2025 IMSA Road America on Peacock: Streaming info, start times and daily schedules

Acura will try to maintain a two-month win streak in the Grand Touring Prototype category of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. After wins at Detroit (the No. 93 ARX-06) and Watkins Glen International (the No. 60 ARX-06), the Meyer Shank Racing Acuras will return with IMSA's premier division at Road America — where the manufacturer is winless since a 2022 repave. But Tom Blomqvist, who won at Watkins Glen with co-driver Colin Braun, is optimistic after a strong test at the 14-turn, 4.048-mile road course in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. 'I'd say it's probably my favorite track from an enjoyment level to drive,' Blomqvist said. 'I think also we're lucky that it's a great track for our car. It really brings out the strengths. 'In the past, it's always been a strong track for us, so I don't see a reason why it's not going to be again. I think we we've really made good gains as a team as well. Every race we're kind of getting better with the new organization, as there's a lot of new faces and new people. I feel like we're just getting stronger. So, yeah, I think we're hopeful that we can fight for the victory again next weekend.' After taking the 2024 season off, MSR has returned to full-time competition with heavier involvement from Honda Racing Corporation in the strategy and engineering of its No. 93 ARX-06. Acura's winning run has interrupted a strong start for Porsche Penske Motorsport, which won the first four races this season (most recently in mid-May at Laguna Seca) and still maintains a healthy lead in the championship standings. Full-time manufacturers BMW and Cadillac are seeking their first GTP wins in 2025. The GTP category has been on a six-week layoff since mid-June at Watkins Glen and returns for the only sprint race that will feature all four divisions of the SportsCar Championship. It's also the last two-hour, 40-minute race for a while at Road America, whose event will increase to six hours next year. Last year, Mathieu Jaminet and Nick Tandy combined for a win in the No. 6 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963. Jaminet remains in the No. 6 with Matt Campbell, and Tandy is paired with Felipe Nasr in the No. 7, which leads the points. Suns' Khaman Maluach named summer league disappointment by NBA analyst

After debuting with the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Summer League, rookie Khaman Maluach was among the players whose struggles were highlighted by John Hollinger of The Athletic. Maluach finished by averaging 10 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks on 35.7% shooting from the field in three appearances in Las Vegas, Nevada. He debuted with 14 points and five rebounds on July 11 in a win over the Washington Wizards. The 10th pick struggled a bit to shoot, going 10-of-28 from the field, including 3-of-13 from 3-point range. He also left much to be desired on the glass, Hollinger explained this week. Phoenix opted to take the Duke project, and I'll emphasize the word 'project' here; his was a rough entry to professional basketball. The 7-1 Maluach only posted a 13.5 percent rebound rate, took nearly half his shots from 3 and had one assist in 70 minutes. Watching from courtside made me more concerned about his hands, as contested rebounds and alley-oop opportunities escaped him at times. Maluach was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team last season at Duke, averaging 8.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks on 71.2% shooting from the field. He was highly touted due to his versatility as a player who can both shoot and defend, boasting a 7-foot, 6 3/4-inch wingspan. The 18-year-old has impressed teammates and coaches early on after joining the organization last month. He showcased each element of his game that attracted the Suns in a small sample size, though the team likely wanted to see a bit more on the court. Maluach is highly thought of by the Suns after the front office turned down trade offers to select him with the 10th pick. The team is eager to work with him and help take his game to the next level, starting in training camp.
