Reportedly over its first week, the film witnessed a sharp decline in collections. The movie wrapped up Day 7 with a total of Rs 44.44 crore. A promising start, but a quick dip According to the Sacnilk website, after a strong Thursday, the Friday dip was steep as it came down by nearly 58%. Although there was a slight recovery over the weekend, the film couldn't maintain its grip through the weekdays. By Monday, the numbers had plummeted to just Rs 2 crore, with Tuesday and Wednesday following the same downward trend. Kingdom - Official Telugu Trailer Brotherhood meets betrayal Directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri , 'Kingdom' follows the story of Constable Surya 'Suri,' played by Vijay Deverakonda, who finds himself in an undercover operation in Sri Lanka. While Kingdom may not have made the kind of theatrical splash fans were hoping for, it is surely one of the best films in Vijay Deverakonda's film career.
