Weekly General Hospital Spoilers July 14-18: Natalia's Memorial, Sasha's Goodbye?

Yahoo16-07-2025
General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 14-18, 2025 tease yet another showdown in a church and a mob war to follow.
Here's What Happens Next On General Hospital
The week will start off with Natalia's (Eva LaRue) memorial, which won't be anything less than dramatic. Presumably hosted by Marco (Adrian Anchondo), he'll most likely be joined by Lucas (Van Hansis), Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Kristina (Kate Mansi), and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). But when Alexis comes to Sonny's (Maurice Benard) defense, will it be because he shows up where he's not wanted? Considering he gets the upper hand on Sidwell on Tuesday, it seems he stays for the memorial.
Meanwhile, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) will seek out Nina (Cynthia Watros) mid-week. Will it be to say goodbye to her previous mother figure? Michael (Rory Gibson) will ponder a big decision, which may entail deciding between going with Sasha and Daisy or staying in Port Charles. If he choose to pack of Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia and leave town with Sasha, that may be why Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) makes a plea on Friday. But will she come clean about being Daisy's stalker?

Odds and Ends
At the end of the week, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna, one of GH's 2025 Daytime Emmy nominees) will be surprised by what he sees. This could be a plethora of things involving any number of loved ones. He'll have just clashed with Lulu (Alexa Havins) yet again on Thursday, so tensions may already been running high.
Mid-week, Drew (Cameron Mathison) will lay out a plan. What could Congressman Cutthroat be up to this time? He's already torn Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) apart and inadvertently broke up Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). Whose lives will be destroy next?

Peyton Meyer Exits Days of Our Lives: Did Doug Williams Redeem Himself Before Leaving Salem?

Days of Our Lives may have been renewed for two more seasons, but we know one handsome troublemaker who won't be around to see them. The Peacock soap's Friday, July 25 episode marked Peyton Meyer's departure as necklace thief-slash-heartbreaker Doug Williams III. Doug's final episode began with a well-deserved tongue-lashing from Gabi, who criticized his parade of stupid decisions that ultimately led to her daughter's kidnapping. 'Ari's great-grandfather took you in, gave you a job, and this is how you repay him?' she asked. Visibly riddled with guilt, Doug took full responsibility for his missteps and handed Gabi an apology letter he wrote for Roman. More from TVLine Days of Our Lives Snags Two-Season Renewal at Peacock, Keeping It Streaming Through 2028 White House Targets The View's Joy Behar, Warns Daytime Talker Could Be 'Next to Get Pulled Off the Air' Eileen Fulton, Who Played As the World Turns' Villainous Lisa Miller, Dead at 91 During a walk through Horton Square, Doug bumped into a panicked Gwen, who quickly deduced that he must be the one who stole Julie's necklace — though her pursuit was interrupted by an unfortunate run-in with Gabi. (Then again, has anyone had a fortunate run-in with Gabi lately?) Doug's next stop was to Julie's, where he finally made good on his promise to return her priceless (and pricey!) family heirloom. 'I know I've said this before, but I'm really sorry, Julie, about everything,' he told her. 'You took me in and made me feel so welcome. You showed me so much kindness, so much love. I hadn't felt that in a long time, and I know that I blew it big-time, and I broke your heart and your trust, and I'll always regret that. Now, I ought to get going.' But Julie wouldn't let Doug go without giving the audience all of the emotional closure we've been craving. After helping Julie put the necklace on, the two shared a beautiful moment in which they connected over family, with Doug telling her about his own personal favorite heirloom — a pair of cufflinks that were once owned by his grandfather Robert. That gave Julie an idea, and she rushed over to the living room to retrieve a pocket watch that Doug carried during his days as a fighter pilot in World War II. 'He always said it brought him luck, so perhaps it'll do the same for you,' Julie told Doug, even promising to wire him the money he needs to pay off his loan shark. 'Until you pay off the debt, you're in danger,' she said. 'I wouldn't want to see you hurt. … It's what my husband would have wanted. You're his grandson, and you're my family.' (Seriously, how did Susan Seaforth Hayes not get a Daytime Emmy nomination?!) 'Would you do me a favor?' Julie asked on Doug's way out the door. 'You have a great deal of potential. You're loaded with wonderful DNA. You've just got to get your life together. And when you do, come back to Salem and show me how well you're doing.' He promised that he would, then walked out of Julie's life as quickly as he entered it. Meyer, whose previous credits include roles on ABC's American Housewife and Disney Channel's Girl Meets World, joined Days of Our Lives in December 2024, playing a mysterious young man who shocked Julie by revealing himself to be her late husband's estranged grandson. Unfortunately, he shocked her again when he stole her precious necklace. In addition to his thievery, Doug also made money working as a busboy at the Brady Pub; his brief love interests in Salem included Holly and Ari. Will you miss seeing Doug on Days, or is he better off leaving Salem in his rearview mirror? And are you hoping to see him make good on that promise to Julie someday? Drop a comment with your thoughts on Meyer's exit below. Anne Burrell cause of death revealed after Food Network star dies at 55

Celebrity chef and Food Network star Anne Burrell's cause of death has been revealed. The 55-year-old TV personality was found dead June 17, and the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in New York City ruled the cause of death as suicide, according to a statement shared July 24 with USA TODAY. The spunky Food Network contributor, recognized for her platinum blonde hairdo and fiery but joyful disposition, made her debut in 2005 on the culinary channel's cutthroat competition series "Iron Chef America." Later, Burrell rapidly became a mainstay as host of "Secrets of a Restaurant Chef" and most famously "Worst Cooks in America." As the face of "Worst Cooks in America," Burrell was a centerpiece of the popular cooking competition that follows hapless home cooks as they journey to master simple kitchen techniques. Throughout several seasons, Burrell co-hosted the series with the likes of Beau MacMillan, Robert Irvine, Bobby Flay and Tyler Florence. Anne Burrell, Food Network star chef, dies at 55 "Anne was a remarkable person and culinary talent — teaching, competing and always sharing the importance of food in her life and the joy that a delicious meal can bring," the Food Network said in a statement. "Our thoughts are with Anne's family, friends and fans during this time of tremendous loss." Her family said in a statement that "Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend. Her smile lit up every room she entered. Anne's light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world." Her popular series "Secrets of a Restaurant Chef" aired for nine seasons from 2008 to 2012 and earned a pair of Daytime Emmy nods, including an outstanding lifestyle/culinary host nomination for the New York native. She is survived by her mother, Marlene, sister Jane and her husband since 2021, Stuart Claxton, and Claxton's son, Javier. Contributing: Edward Segarra
