Driver dies after car and double-decker bus collide in A47 crash with 7 mile-stretch of road closed
Emergency crews had rushed to Guyhirn on the A47 in Cambridgeshire at around 2.45pm yesterday, following reports of a serious collision.

Following the crash, a 7-mile stretch of the busy road, between Rings End roundabout and Wisbech, was closed.
Cambridgeshire Police has confirmed today that the driver of the car died after the collision.
The busy stretch of road is reported to typically see at least 20,000 vehicles pass through each day.
While it is not yet clear how the crash unfolded, the double-decker bus could be seen lying in a field next to the road with a smashed windscreen.
Aerial footage also showed the car resting on the other side of the road in a ditch.

Man hit by car in Amesbury in life-threatening condition
A man is in hospital in a life-threatening condition after being hit by a car in was walking in the direction of Larkhill on Countess Road, in Amesbury, on Saturday when he was struck just before 03:30 driver stopped at the scene and called emergency services, who took the man to Salisbury District Hospital. A motorcyclist has been slammed for arguing with a cop after he was cut off at an intersection, with Aussies claiming he was in the wrong and should be more careful. The motorist ran into trouble while riding his motorbike along Pitt Street, in Sydney 's CBD, in May. The motorcyclist attempted to move into the left lane as he came up to a set of red lights.
