SWF Challenge for youth teams to recreate best moments from Euro 25
Participants have until Monday 28th to post their video on social media with the hashtag #SWFSummerChallenge and naming their club and age bracket, which will enable girls to recreate scenes from the final if they wish!
SWF will then draw the winners, with a U16s or U18s team winning a bag of size 5 balls and an U14s teams winning a bag of size 4 balls.
SWF CEO Aileen Cambell said: 'International tournaments always provide loads of drama and inspiration for girls across the country, even when Scotland haven't made it. SWF are delighted to offer up two bags of balls from our ball partners RJM Sports and uhlsport UK to encourage some of our young stars to share that excitement.
All they need to do is recreate their favourite moments and share the video on social media with the #SWFSummerChallenge hashtag to enter the draw. I can't wait to see what creativity emerges from our talented teams!'
The competition is being run as part of SWF's partnership with RJM Sports and uhlsport as official ball partners.

England Lionesses ban 'good luck charm' ABBA from playlist ahead of Sweden clash
ABBA was once the soundtrack to the Euros celebrations but the Swedish pop group have been vetoed from the England playlist ahead of their clash with Sweden The Lionesses have banned ABBA from their changing room playlist as they prepare to clash with Sweden. But the Swedish pop group will only be vetoed for the quarter-final game on Thursday, as captain and 'England DJ' Leah Williamson admitted they were a good luck charm in 2022. The Euros -winning squad that year even earned a message of congratulations from ABBA's Bjorn Ulvaeus after videos of the players belting out Dancing Queen went viral. Several Lionesses have already described Leah, 28, from Newport Pagnell, Bucks. as the team DJ claiming 'she has the best music taste'. But when England go head to head with the women in yellow and blue for a place in the semi-final, ABBA will be confined to the Swedish dressing room only. Asked if she agrees with Swedish fans that ABBA are bigger than The Beatles, Leah frowned: "That's a strong statement, I don't agree I'm afraid. One may be easier to dance to but they're not bigger. "I don't think they [ABBA] will be on the playlist ahead of the game. But it worked in 2022, so I don't want to banish ABBA completely." Sweden were the first ever nation to win the Women's Euros in 1984, but have never been able to regain the European Championship since. And after the Lionesses knocked Sweden out of the last Euros by thrashing them 4-0 in the semi-final, Sweden's Jonna Andersson admitted doing the same to England on Thursday would feel like 'revenge'. "Of course it feels like revenge. It's always that feeling," she said. "We know what we can do and hopefully we can show them that we are up for this fight and that we are going to do everything we can to go out and win the game." But after England's Ella Toone warned that Sweden 'should be scared' of England, Sweden's Filippa Angeldahl defiantly responded: "We are not afraid." The midfielder, 28, from Uppsala said: "I think everyone in the squad is looking forward to it incredibly. This is what we have been waiting for." But while the Lionesses kick back and relax in their 5* base camp, Sweden are cooped up in a sports complex. And although the training facilities at Sweden's base are second to none, the On Your Marks hotel in Cham is far less plush than the luxurious Dolder Grand Hotel, nestled in the Adlisberg forest to the south of Zurich city. The £1,000-a-night hotel, which has played host to Winston Churchill, the Rolling Stones and now the Lionesses also boasts a golf course and a world-class spa. And while the Lionesses were simply given keys to their rooms, the Sweden team has a hierarchy of 'first choice' to those with the most international caps. The system is far from fool-proof having led to bickering in previous tournaments that boss Peter Andersson has been left to sort out. Speaking to Swedish media, Nathalie Björn revealed that the room selection went smoothly this time, but it hasn't always been that way. "Sometimes things have gone wrong, and then [Andersson] has had to fix it," she said. "Anyone who has experienced this might point out: 'Why does she have a nice view, and not me?' Then he will have to deal with it."

Lamine Yamal could be investigated for reportedly hiring people with dwarfism at birthday party
Spain's Prosecutor's Office has been asked by the Ministry of Social Rights to investigate footballer Lamine Yamal, after he allegedly hired people with dwarfism "solely for entertainment" at his 18th birthday party. The Barcelona winger celebrated his birthday on Sunday, but the festivities have since been overshadowed in controversy. The Association of People with Achondroplasia and other Skeletal Dysplasias with Dwarfism (ADEE) has "publicly denounced" the hiring of people with dwarfism "as part of the entertainment". They announced they would launch legal action, saying Yamal's alleged actions "violate" current legislation and "ethical values". Following the filing of a legal complaint by the ADEE, the Ministry said the Director General for People with Disabilities has "asked the Prosecutor's Office to investigate to determine whether the law and, therefore, the rights of people with disabilities have been violated." In a statement, ADEE's President Carolina Puente said: 'It's unacceptable that in the 21st century, people with dwarfism continue to be used as entertainment at private parties, and even more serious when these incidents involve public figures like Lamine Yamal. 'When a person with social influence participates in these types of situations, the damage is even greater, because it conveys to society—especially to young people—that discrimination is acceptable. "We must eradicate the objectification of difference and educate people in respect and equity.' However, in an interview with Spanish radio station RAC1, one of those hired said they disagreed with the ADEE's response. Speaking anonymously, they said "no one disrespected us" and that they're "normal people, who do what we want, in an absolutely legal way". Yamal joined FC Barcelona in 2023, and became the youngest ever player to start in La Liga at just 16 years old. He also holds the record for being the youngest payer to score in a European Championship.

England can savour Swede taste of success after hitting top form Rachel Brown-Finnis Pass master Hannah vindicates selection call ‘James has been at her best with Toone operating alongside her'
Now, whoever you play in a European Championship quarter-final will be hard and I wasn't in the camp of hoping England finished top of Group D to avoid Sweden and take on Germany instead. Sweden destroyed Germany 4-1 in the last round of Group C games and it is hard to call which one you would rather face. There's not much in it. Sweden are the higher-ranked of the two and obviously have real quality. But they have just come up short in tournaments, not quite being able to get over the line. They will feel they have unfinished business at this Euros after going out 4-0 to the Lionesses in the 2022 semi-finals. They are dangerous and full of confidence but I still think Germany can also be a real danger. The strength of the European teams is just so good. When England are at their best, and Sweden too, Sarina Wiegman's team can edge it. The question will be, though, can they both be at 100%? England absolutely have to be to win it and not fall short of that level. More of the same from the Netherlands and Wales matches is needed. That's the bar now. We saw some 'proper England' there. Wales targeted Georgia Stanway with some strong challenges early on but she got up, dusted herself down and offered it back to her opponents in the 6-1 win. Lauren James has been playing at her best with Ella Toone operating alongside her. Lauren draws two players to her each time and that allows Ella to find the spaces Lauren has unlocked and that has got her two goals in two matches. Any team in the world would want Lauren but you have to have the players around her to allow her to flourish and that has been the key to England scoring the goals they have in the last two games. I wasn't all doom and gloom after losing to France. I saw it as a chance to go to war – 'win or we go home'. That's the mentality the Lionesses have carried since that loss and they need to keep that going. This looks like the best version of England. We know our best starting XI and also have the squad depth as shown against Wales, with eight different goalscorers so far. The fact England went into the Netherlands game needing to win to stay in the tournament means they have already been playing knockout football, which gives them a real advantage in my eyes. Any top goalkeeper has to shut out the attention and England's Hannah Hampton has done just that in Switzerland so far. More Trending The reason she is now Sarina Wiegman's No.1, ahead of Mary Earps, is that, not only is she an excellent shot-stopper, but she is also brilliant with her feet, as that wonderful goal-making pass in the win over the Dutch showed. That ability tipped the balance in favour of Hampton (pictured) and if anyone needed affirmation of the reasons why she has the gloves, the ball to Alessia Russo was it. I love the fact Wiegman backs her keeper and doesn't care about the noise. She backed Mary in the same way and she grew and grew and grew. I fully expect that to be the case for Hannah too.
