A MYSTERY woman has scooped £30,000 from £60 at a Glasgow casino.
The businesswoman, 34, struck gold after winning the jackpot at Grosvenor Casino in the Merchant City.

She took home the cash prize after playing a game of poker.
Speaking about her win the delighted Glasgow local, said: 'I'm absolutely over the moon.
"This has been an amazing experience and an incredible surprise.
"I've always enjoyed my time playing at Grosvenor Casino Glasgow Merchant City, but this win has made it even more special.'
The lucky winner plans to put her winnings in a savings account.
Casino chief Debbie Johnston commented: 'We are overjoyed for our winner and her spectacular jackpot win.
"The buzz in the casino was incredible when the Royal Flush was revealed.
"It's a testament to the excitement and thrill that our casino offers and we look forward to celebrating many more memorable moments with our guests.'
Grosvenor Casino Glasgow Merchant City is located on Glassford Street and offers players a premium gaming and live entertainment experience.
Elsewhere, a gambler put his money where his mouth is - after scooping nearly £60,000 from a £1 wager.
The high roller, 25, chanced his luck on a poker table at Grosvenor Casino Edinburgh Maybury.
In unbelievable scenes, the Edinburgh local bagged a straight flush - a hand with five cards of the same suit in sequence.
The jammy punter - after only 40 minutes - struggled to maintain his poker face as the lucrative hand was picked from the deck.
The jackpot winner said: 'I can't believe my luck. I hadn't even been in the casino for an hour when I decided to place the £1 side bet – a bet that I never would have imagined would turn into over £59,000.'

In addition, Forest Holidays wants to create a new reception and cafe building. Currently, the site has 25 touring caravan pitches and 85 camping pitches. The proposals are part of a wider plan in collaboration with the Roberts Group - the owners of Cae Du and Cae Canol campsite, also in Beddgelert. Under a separate application, there will be more touring and camping pitches at Cae Du and Cae Canol so the village doesn't lose capacity. Public toilets and better path access for guests are also part of the plans. Back in 2017, the site gained planning consent for 16 cabins and up to 85 touring caravan pitches and camping pitches. Forest Holidays has 13 sites across the UK in woodlands owned by Forestry England, Forestry and Land Scotland, and Natural Resources Wales. The Beddgelert site is the smallest of the Forest Holidays locations and is set in a riverside wooded area. Each cabin currently has a hot tub and guests can enjoy access to the new Elvis Owl Nature Trail - which is ideal for kids as it includes activities to immerse them in nature. This holiday park has Maldives-like overwater bungalows Families can also hire bikes from the site, to explore the local area on wheels. Alternatively, guests can get some R&R with a spa treatment. Prices to stay at the holiday park vary, but can be found from £895 for a week, for a family of four. Beddgelert itself is a picturesque stone-built village, which is the ideal base for exploring Snowdonia National Park. From the village, travellers can head onto the Lôn Gwyrfai path which can be used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The route stretches over four miles to the village of Rhyd Ddu - which is then a good starting point to hike to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). According to Forest Holidays, since opening in 2018 demand for the 16 cabins at Beddgelert has been high throughout the year. The site also expects annual occupancy levels of the cabins to be 96 per cent, with guests expected to spend £650,000 per annum in the local area as well. Forest Holidays, which submitted the plans for the project, hopes to build 75 timber holiday cabins on 140 acres in a Derbyshire woodland at Farley Moor. If approved, the holiday park would feature a shop, cafe, outdoor play area and 249 parking spaces. The whopping £23million project will be able to host 185 people with cabin sizes varying from one to five beds along with treehouse rooms. Forest Holidays plans to suspend all cabins above the ground on steel pillars to protect the forest floor. The cabins would be a flat-pack design reducing the need for heavy construction equipment. Located in the basement of a former pub at the Gracechurch Centre, the popular establishment first opened in May, 2024. It quickly proved a hit with locals, serving up a selection of burgers, fried chicken, and loaded skin-on chips to 75 diners at a time. Popular location The brand was founded in 2018 by Pete Hargreaves and Allan Blewitt, with the vision of serving up smash burgers alongside music and retro games. The pair began selling burgers from a catering van in a lay-by before attending local food festivals and street food events. In 2022, they opened their debut restaurant in Lichfield, which still operates. However, the lease on the Sutton Coldfield locations has now run out, spurring the entrepreneurs to hit the road and focus on pop-ups. "Our lease at the old Molloy's property has come to an end, we would like to thank the owners of the Gracechurch Centre for their support and work on promoting small local businesses into their retail spaces," the Patty Freaks said on their Facebook page. "It was a privilege to be able to take on such a historic site and attempt to fill the boots of some of the huge brands that have come before us. "All the best with everything, couldn't find a nicer bunch to work with." "You'll be a sad loss to the high street, we really enjoyed our visit last month and our takeaways over the last 12 months, good luck in your new venture," said another customer. "What a monumental shame, the only place other than Leviathan Brewing that served up decent beer in Sutton, with great food, a pool table, and arcade machines to boot," commented a third person. The new fee falls under President Donald Trump's 'One Big Beautiful Bill' and could see Brits paying a substantial fee to visit America. It will cost around $250 (£185.80) and is expected to be introduced before the end of 2025. The cost will also be on top of all existing visa application fees. Individuals will pay the fee once a visa is issued and if an application is denied, then you won't be charged the fee. The fee will also be reimbursed if travellers stick to their visa conditions such as not working illegally and not overstaying their visa by more than five days. The reimbursement will be given after your visa expires - although, the process is not clear yet. Once the fee is implemented, the money will go to the US treasury Department's general fund and is estimated to bring in $28.9billion (£21.3billion) over the next decade. There will also be an increase in the fee for the I-94 form, which records arrival and departure dates. The fee will rise from $6 (£4.46) to $24 (£17.84). According to CNBC, a spokesperson from the Department of Homeland Security said: "President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill provides the necessary policies and resources to restore integrity in our nation's immigration system." Big Changes Coming to Airport Security: TSA Liquid Rule May Be Axed Soon However, under the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP) - which the UK is part of - most Brits travelling to the US for tourism or short business trips, do not need a visa. Instead, they will need to apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA). As a result, Brits eligible for and using an ESTA, will not need to pay the new Visa Integrity Fee. Brits that will be impacted by the new fee include those travelling for a purpose not covered by the VWP such as long-term study or certain types of employment or those not eligible for VWP due to their travel history, like travel to restricted countries. According to the website, travellers can apply for an ESTA via the Official ESTA Application Website or by using the ESTA mobile app. Though travellers may be unable to apply for an ESTA visa waiver if they have been arrested, have a criminal record, have been refused admission into or have been deported from the US or have previously overstayed an ESTA visa waiver. An ESTA application costs $21 (£15.60) and can take up to 72 hours to be approved. Tourist visa waiver for US holidays to cost more THE fee for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) is expected to rise in the future. Thanks to a new bill being passed, the price of an ESTA is set to double from $21 (£15.38) to $40 (£29.30). Before entering the US, Brits are required to apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). The fee is currently $21 (£15.38) to apply for an ESTA - a price which was introduced in May 2022. Prior to this date, the fee was $14 (£10.25) and will now rise to $40 (£29.30) although an official start date is yet to be confirmed. The rise in fees is part of US President Donald Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill". The current rules require every visitor from the UK to apply for an ESTA to be allowed access into the United States. An ESTA is generally valid for two years from the date of approval, or until the passport used for the application expires, whichever comes first. If your passport expires before the two-year period, your ESTA will be valid only until the passport's expiration date. These are the latest travel rules for Brits heading to America after European tourists have been stopped at the border. Plus, Brits will face a new £17 visa-waiver charge to travel to Europe next year.
