The confirmed track list for Tyla's upcoming mixtape 'We Wanna Party'.

After wrapping up the launch parties, Tyla took to her Instagram and posted a set of pictures with the caption that read: '07/25 25/07'.
She unveiled the release date for the mixtape using a dual date format after a mix-up that occurred when she released her single 'Is It' and some of her European fans misinterpreted the date.
The upcoming mixtape features two successful singles from the singer this year, including the most recent hit 'Is It,' which came out on July 9.
During her mixtape launch party in London, the Grammy-award-winning star shared the inspiration behind the mixtape's title, revealing that she has been in a mood of enjoying life with vibey people.
'I've been on this tip of just enjoying life, not just by partying but just enjoyment with people that I love and people that are a vibe,' she said.
Tyla talking in an interview about her upcoming mixtape 'WE WANNA PARTY'
"We Wanna Party is actually a South African chant, we have been using it forever" pic.twitter.com/UEspUsqaXO — ★ (@tylasgirl) July 16, 2025
She shared that 'We Wanna Party' is a chant that has been used in South Africa during parties for a long time.
'We Wanna Party is actually a South African chant; we've been using it forever, and it's been a way to hype up people and enhance the feeling of enjoyment, so I thought it was perfect for the mixtape because the music screams 'we wanna party',' she explained.
Since June, the 'Tyla we wanna party' chant has been all over the 'Push 2 Start' singer's social media feeds.
She also made the audience at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards chant it when she hosted the awards on June 21. Tyla has been dropping easter eggs long before revealing that a mixtape is in the works, and now fans can finally expect it.
'We Wanna Party' promises to deliver more of Tyla's infectious beats with more of her confidence-boosting lyrics.
'Is It' has already revealed exciting vibes and themes fans will get to hear.
Tyla's comment also sets the tone and gives a glimpse into what will be a period of partying to new music and new lyrics to vibe to.

Takalani Sesame celebrates 25 years of educational impact in South Africa

For the past 25 years, Takalani Sesame has been a trusted companion to millions of South African children, sparking joy and encouraging curiosity and lifelong learning. Image: Supplied For the past 25 years, Takalani Sesame has delighted millions of South African children, becoming a cherished source of education and joy. The non-profit organisation behind this beloved television show, Sesame Workshop South Africa, is taking a bold step into the future as it celebrates a quarter-century of impactful programming. This year, they are forging a new partnership with the Department of Basic Education (DBE) aimed at enhancing early childhood development (ECD) registration nationwide. As part of the Bana Pele (Putting Children First) campaign, this collaboration seeks to drive awareness and support for early education, health, and well-being. With over 7 million viewers and an embrace from 95% of households with young children, Takalani Sesame has been a transformative force in the realm of early childhood education, making topics like inclusion, health, and well-being resonate across the national conversation. 'For 25 years, Takalani Sesame has stood for smarter, stronger, and kinder children,' said Dr Onyinye Nwaneri, Managing Director of Sesame Workshop South Africa. This milestone is not merely a celebration; it's a clarion call to deepen their impact in collaboration with the DBE. The importance of this partnership embodies the philosophy that investing in children today will yield a more robust, successful nation tomorrow. The Bana Pele campaign strongly encourages parents and guardians to register their local ECD centres with the DBE. Not only is registration free, but it also opens avenues for vital government support, including a recently announced R10 billion funding initiative aimed at enhancing the ECD subsidy. This investment aims to widen access for underprivileged children, ensuring they experience high-quality early learning in safe environments. Video Player is loading. The registration process will help secure brighter futures for the nation's children, thereby addressing a crucial national imperative. Dr Nwaneri elaborates on the broader implications of supporting early childhood development: 'ECD is not just about education; it lays the groundwork for lifelong health, learning, and overall well-being.' Ultimately, investing in quality early learning fosters skills development and stimulates job creation, paving the way for a more inclusive economy and nurturing South Africa's long-term prosperity. The Bana Pele registration drive asserts that ensuring access to learning goes hand in hand with the enhancement of safety and quality through a transparent compliance process. Early childhood development centres will be empowered to advance their standards, moving from Bronze to Silver and Gold accreditation levels, with continuous support from government and partners like Sesame Workshop. 'This campaign is about much more than just celebrating 25 years of success; it's also a call to action to the nation,' Dr Nwaneri emphasised. 'Everyone has a role to play in ensuring every child has the opportunity to be the best they can be.'

A stage veteran, he effortlessly slips into the skin of these characters as they grapple with an ever-changing political landscape, while also torn by other key issues that reach a boiling point. Brincat revealed: 'This show is universal in its theme, particularly at this time when the intersectional knock-on effects of migrancy, sexuality, heritage and identity are brought increasingly into our consciousness. It makes us question what and who we think belongs, probing our conventional understanding of identity, family, ancestry and nationality.' Where: Barney Simon, Market Theatre.
