Tyson Beckford says he planned to propose to Shanina Shaik before heartbreaking split
In a new Us Weekly cover story, Beckford, 54, says the 2015 split was 'a crushing blow' after nearly seven years together.
'One month before we broke up, I met the vice president of Cartier and told him I had this amazing lady I wanted to marry,' he shared, without naming Shaik directly. 'I had these great plans.'
The former Victoria's Secret model and Beckford were a high-profile couple, and their breakup sparked public speculation. Beckford says he remained quiet despite public criticism. 'Nobody wanted to hear my side. I just went into work mode — work, gym, home,' he said.
Beckford admitted the emotional toll took years to heal. 'I was madly in love... I never got my heart broken like that before.' It took nearly four years before he felt ready to reenter the dating scene.
A turning point came when supermodel Naomi Campbell gave him advice. 'She told me, 'You are an icon. You just need to get back out there.''
Now, Beckford is hoping to find love again on Bravo's Kings Court, where he joins NBA star Carlos Boozer and WWE's Titus O'Neil in a reality dating series.
Kings Court airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo and streams on Peacock.

Ludwig discusses multistreaming shift and charity challenges on State Farm's Gamerhood
Ludwig has reflected on his most intense charity stunts and addressed his move to multistreaming during the fourth season of State Farm's Gamerhood competition. The streaming series features well-known online personalities competing in video game and physical challenges to raise funds for charity. Returning for his third season, Ludwig joins figures like Mark Phillips and Berleezy in this year's competition, aiming to raise part of the $100,000 prize pool for causes they support. In an on-set interview, Ludwig spoke about the lengths he's gone to for charity, including his widely viewed 2022 Subathon 2.0, where he spent 50 hours in a glass box. That stream raised over $300,000 for Alveus Sanctuary and No Kid Hungry. However, he highlighted another challenge as one of the most exhausting: playing through the entire Rock Band catalogue to support wildfire relief. 'It took like 12 hours,' Ludwig said, adding that the event raised $250,000 and involved punishments like eating unpleasant food. Ludwig also discussed his recent transition to multistreaming on both YouTube and Twitch. While previously hesitant, he noted that YouTube's superior VOD system influenced his decision. 'When you stream on YouTube, it's like a catalog forever,' he said, pointing to its usefulness for viewers. Episodes of Gamerhood air every Friday in August at 6 PM ET across YouTube, Twitch, and participants' own platforms. Ludwig confirmed plans for more fundraising events, including a potential return of the Streamer Games and Fast 50, as he continues to organise high-profile community competitions for charitable causes.

YouTuber seeks protective order against Blake Lively amid ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni
A YouTuber known as Lauren Neidigh, who uses the handle LethalLauren904, has accused actress Blake Lively of harassment and intimidation in connection to Lively's ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. According to a letter obtained by Us Weekly, Neidigh has requested a protective order against Lively, citing the undue burden created by legal subpoenas issued to her and other content creators. -Youtube/The Court of Random Opinion. Neidigh claims that she, along with fellow YouTubers McKenzie Folks and Kassidy O'Connell, were unfairly targeted after expressing critical views about Lively online. She alleged that Lively's subpoena sought personal banking information without substantiating evidence and was designed to 'intimidate, harass, chill constitutionally protected free speech, and threaten the safety and privacy of non-parties.' Although Lively's legal team dropped the subpoenas earlier this week, Neidigh emphasized that Lively has not ruled out reissuing them, thus maintaining what she describes as an 'ongoing threat.' In her letter, Neidigh requested both a formal protective order and sanctions to prevent further discovery actions she deems abusive. She also criticized Lively's legal team for being 'largely unresponsive.' Lively, who has not publicly addressed the subpoena issue, has also reportedly subpoenaed other media personalities, including Perez Hilton and Candace Owens, as part of the same legal dispute. This development stems from a broader legal conflict that began in December 2024 when Lively filed a sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni. Baldoni denied the claims and countersued for defamation, though his suit was dismissed in June. While Lively has spoken publicly about the case, including during a May appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Baldoni has yet to grant an interview regarding the matter.
