Galaxy Z Flip 7 leaks in hands-on video, confirming one big change
We already saw a bunch of hands-on images circulating the internet, but now we have a full-blown hands-on video of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 , showing the phone from every angle. The video is courtesy of X user andrei_eclynoh, and it's the real deal, not a dummy. How do we know this? During the video Andrei powers up the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and also shows the interface of the phone.
The video was removed promptly soon after the initial upload, but another X user reuploaded it, so you can enjoy the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in its full glory. Check it out below.
We've been hearing this for months now, but it's a totally different feeling seeing it with our own eyes in action. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 has a brand-new cover screen that spans edge-to-edge and envelops the two cameras of the main camera system. The design is quite similar to the Motorola Razr 2025 and seems to finally offer a big and usable cover display. Interestingly, the video shows the Galaxy Z Flip 7 running four cover screen widgets on one page of the screen.
Another change is the small bezel around the cover screen, making the Galaxy Z Flip 7 look quite premium and refined. But there's more!
This might be the biggest change for the Galaxy Z Flip family! It seems that Samsung has finally caught up with the other players on the foldable market when it comes to the crease. The hands-on video shows the phone from multiple angles, both turned off and powered up. We can't make out the crease; the display looks seamless from multiple angles.
This could be a major selling point for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 , coupled with the bigger cover screen, but we have to get the phone in our hands to assess the crease or its absence.
In terms of overall design, the hands-on video doesn't add anything new to what we already know about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 .
The same boxy design is present, and even though we expected the Z Flip 7 to be slimmer than its predecessor, you can't tell the difference from the video.
Putting the Z Flip 7 next to its predecessor will sort this debate out, but we have to wait a little longer for that.
Continuing the hands-on video streak, there's another leak showing an alleged Galaxy Fold 7 unit. This video comes from the accessories maker WSKEN, which has listed some screen protectors on Amazon deemed compatible with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 .You can check out the product listing on Amazon and click on the videos section to see the Z Fold 7 in action.
Bear in mind, though, that the model in the video looks like a dummy and not an actual functioning device, as it appears to be switched off during the whole thing.
It's hard to tell the difference between the unit in the video and the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but it looks like the fingerprint scanner is different and similar to what we've already seen in other Z Fold 7 leaks. Secure your connection now at a bargain price!

Oppo Find X9 (or Find X9 Plus) specs leak
A couple of days ago, specs for the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Pro got outed in China, and today the same prolific source who goes by Digital Chat Station on Weibo is back with details about another device in the series. We'd call this the Find X9, but a rumor from May claimed there will actually be four phones in this lineup, and the 'vanilla' Find X9 would get a 6.3-inch screen, while a new Find X9 Plus would have a 6.59" panel. Oppo Find X8 So DCS could very well be talking about the Plus model here, as he does mention a 6.59-inch LIPO OLED flat screen with "1.5K" resolution and symmetrical bezels. The device will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 SoC, and it has a metal frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 50W wireless charging. A 50 MP periscope telephoto will be one of the cameras on offer, but the others haven't been detailed this time around. The Oppo Find X9, Find X9 Plus, and Find X9 Pro are all rumored to be launching in October, one year after their predecessors. Source (in Chinese) | Via

Pixel 10 Pro: Is it Just About the Tensor G5?
The Pixel 10 Pro is set to be officially revealed on August 20, and the excitement is already heating up. With months of leaks behind us, Google's next flagship is shaping up to be more than just a routine the heart of the update is the all-new Tensor G5 chip – a major milestone for Google, as it's the company's first fully in-house processor built with TSMC. But while the chip is a big leap forward, it's not the only change worth paying attention to. As we get closer to launch day, more details are emerging that point to a broader evolution of the Pixel the Pixel 10 Pro will come with the new Tensor G5 chip, which is the first fully designed chip by Google and manufactured by TSMC. Previously, Google designed its chip in a collaboration with Samsung, which will no longer be the case with the Pixel 10 series, new chip is said to be a blend of proprietary designs and select external technologies. The Tensor G5 is said to be manufactured using TSMC's advanced 3nm N3E process, which means it will be more power-efficient while performing better than previous generations. Google being in control of the design would help the company achieve fewer bugs in the system, and could even help it bump up camera is the new chip everything cool that the Pixel 10 Pro will bring? Rumor has it that the Pixel 10 Pro may come with support for the Qi2 wireless charging standard. And at the moment, it could either be with a case, just like the Galaxy S25 phones, or a full-blown magnetic Pixel 10 Pro with an approach similar to Apple's MagSafe. Google hasn't offered Qi2 on previous Pixels. Now, there's the possibility that Google is looking into adding magnets to the Pixel 10 line, judging by the dimensions and weight that leaked (and all the Pixels are heavier and thicker than previous generations). Of course, the added weight could be due to the bigger batteries, but it could also be that Google has decided to place magnets to enable Qi2 support. Adding weight to this speculation is a report from June, which claims the Mountain View tech giant is prepping an ecosystem of magnetic Qi2 accessories, which may be called "Pixelsnap". There are reportedly going to be two chargers and a stand. Rumor has it that the Pixel 10 Pro may finally sport an upgrade to its PWM dimming rate, which would improve the display, especially for people who are sensitive to screen flicker. PWM plays a big role in the control of OLED display brightness. A higher rate of PWM would mean less stress on the eyes. Currently, Pixels use a 240Hz rate, but Google is said to be improving this with this year's Pixel phones. According to leaks, the Pixel 10 may come with a slightly bigger battery than its predecessor, a 4,870mAh one. The Pixel 9 Pro has a 4,700mAh battery cell. The upgrade may not be huge, but nevertheless, notable improvements in battery life are very likely, mainly thanks to the new Tensor G5 chip. As we mentioned, the Tensor G5 will be more energy efficient and powerful, and it will also be optimized for the Pixel 10 Pro more precisely, given that Google has more control over the design. This could allow for longer battery life, despite the modest number on the spec sheet. Rumors and leaks indicate that, on paper, the Pixel 10 Pro 's cameras won't be upgraded from last year. So, we expect a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultra-wide, 48MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and a 42MP front-facing camera. These are obviously familiar specs if you know the Pixel 9, but that doesn't mean there won't be any improvement in this department. Google is very strong in the software processing of its images, and it's always been. The new chip may also help here with its more powerful capabilities, and we have Gemini AI that's going to lend a hand.

Galaxy Z Fold 7: fold it while it's hot – because the cold might slash your hinge durability by 8 times
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a hit, there's no way around it: it has set a new record for US preorders, surpassing its predecessor by nearly 50% since launching on July 25. Maybe it's because Samsung has hit that sweet spot between thinness and durability – or maybe it's because people don't mind paying $2,000 for a phone with ~4,300 mAh capacity battery. We recently told you how Samsung Display has significantly improved the durability of its foldable OLED panel, now rated to withstand 500,000 folds – more than double the previous standard of 200,000. The panel remained fully functional after 13 days of continuous folding at room temperature, which means it can be folded over 200 times a day for over six years, per the company. However, it's very important where you're folding and unfolding your Z Fold 7 bijou, as surroundings – and temperature, to be precise – greatly affect the number of overall folds. Image by PhoneArena That 500,000 folds apply to standard room temperature conditions. So how does it hold up in more extreme environments? Samsung Display has shared additional insights, SamMobile reports. Under intense heat – around 60°C (140°F) – the panel is rated for 300,000 folds, maintaining strong durability even in high-temperature climates. On the opposite end, in extremely cold conditions of -20°C (-4°F), the panel is certified for 60,000 folds. While lower, this still equates to over four years of use at 40 folds per day, offering reassurance for users in harsh weather environments. So, depending on where you live, your fold count might vary – just like your mood in different seasons. If you're lounging in Death Valley or if you relocate to Dubai, expect your Z Fold 7 's hinge to work a little harder, with durability capped at around 300,000 folds. Still impressive, but your phone might appreciate some shade. Meanwhile, if you're unfolding your phone somewhere closer to Santa Claus – say, northern Finland in winter or Alaska – the panel's limit drops to 60,000 folds , 8 times less than the 500,000 folds. That might sound like a downgrade, but it's still enough for several years of use unless you're compulsively flipping it open like a fidget toy. The takeaway? Your Z Fold 7 prefers a mild, room-temp kind of lifestyle – much like most of us.
