The 2025 inter-county season has come to an end and Belfast Telegraph Sport has taken on the unfavourable challenge of selecting the Ulster Team of the Year. Just to make things more difficult for ourselves, we also decided to put a three-player cap on each county, meaning that there can only be a maximum of three Gaelic footballers from any one team selected – apart from Donegal, who were awarded an extra name seeing as they won the provincial title and went the furthest in the All-Ireland series.
