Sabrina Carpenter Considered Banning Phones During Her Concerts

Cosmopolitan18-06-2025

If you've ever been to a Sabrina Carpenter show, then you already know it's full of Short n' Sweet treats. So much so, you might want to record her next 'Juno' position or have the entirety of 'Tornado Warnings' on your camera roll to soundtrack your next crash out. Either way, snapping those memories might not even be an option during her concerts in the future.
During an interview with Rolling Stone, the 'Manchild' singer got candid about playing live shows and how it feels to see a crowd full of phone cameras aimed at her. Of course, she's no stranger to lenses as a Grammy-winning pop star, but she revealed that she might consider banning phones from her shows at some point in her blossoming career, as artists like Madonna, Adele, and Bob Dylan have done in the past.
'This will honestly piss off my fans, but absolutely,' Sabrina admitted when asked if she'd ban phones. 'Because I went to see Silk Sonic in Vegas, and they locked my phone. I've never had a better experience at a concert. I genuinely felt like I was back in the Seventies — wasn't alive. Genuinely felt like I was there. Everyone's singing, dancing, looking at each other, and laughing. It really, really just felt so beautiful.'
At the end of the day, the 'Bed Chem' artist understands why she's faced with a crowd full of phones and 'doesn't blame' her fans for wanting to preserve the moment.
'I've grown up in the age of people having iPhones at shows,' she continued. 'It unfortunately feels super normal to me. I can't blame people for wanting to have memories. But depending on how long I want to be touring, and what age I am, girl, take those phones away.'
She then playfully added, 'You cannot zoom in on my face. Right now, my skin is soft and supple. It's fine. Do not zoom in on me when I'm 80 years old up there.'

Jeremy Allen White Reveals Why He Always Buys Flowers

Jeremy Allen White is a sucker for a beautiful bouquet, but the sentimental reason behind it even more alluring. If you've seen paparazzi photos of The Bear star out in the wild, then there's a strong chance he was spotted with flowers in his hands. He's been seen on numerous occasions buying an assortment of flowers, ranging in beautiful, bright colors. And it's happened so much that people have speculated what he does with them — gifting them to a significant other, fueling a hobby, etc. So, when he stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday to promote the new season of the Emmy-winning series, the late night host made sure to ask Jeremy about it. "You're always carrying giant bouquets of flowers, everywhere you are," Jimmy said, while showing a collage of pictures of Jeremy holding pretty plants. "I love it. It's your your one else can take this move. That is your move. Do you work at a florist or what?" 'I have this farmer's market near my house," Jeremy replied. "It's on Sundays, and I just love going there, and I love flowers in my house. I like them in the house." "It's so strange, though, it's become this thing. I saw a friend a couple of weeks ago that I hadn't seen in a while, and she goes, 'What's up with the flowers?'" He jokingly remembered feeling like his friend might've thought he was doing something "sinister" or "strange" with the flowers. "I just like them," he continued. "I like them in the house. I give them to people. I arrange them with my daughters on Sunday, and it's like — it's a nice thing that we do." The audience erupted in a sea of "awws" at the sweet activity he does with his kids. Jeremy shares two little girls — Ezer, 6, and Dolores, 4 — with his ex-wife, Addison Timlin. And fans online proudly voiced their admiration for Jeremy's hobby: How adorable! LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, Arch Manning star in Raising Cane's ad

'At least your dad didn't move to Louisiana and start calling plays' This is a fun one. Louisiana football royalty descended on Thibodeaux this week for the Manning Passing Academy, with legendary New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning joining his sons Peyton, Eli, and Cooper and grandson Arch for an opportunity to mentor the next generation of passers. On the way, several members of the Manning family stopped by the Baton Rouge-based Raising Cane's to put in a celebrity "shift" and pulled into the drive-thru to cut a commercial. You can see it for yourself here, but they weren't alone. Raising Cane's founder Todd Graves, a popular pick among fans to buy the Saints should owner Gayle Benson ever put them up for sale, sat in the back seat with LSU Tigers quarterback Garrett Nussmeier. Grandfather Archie questioned grandson Arch as to whether his Super Bowl-winning uncles Peyton and Eli were going too hard on him; the younger Manning and Nussmeier roomed together this week as counselors at the clinic. "Tell me about it. At least your dad didn't move to Louisiana and start calling plays," quipped Nussmeier, son of new Saints offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier. That's when Arch's father Cooper leaned in from the drive-thru window to remind his son to order with a "please" and "thank you," while telling Nussmeier that his father already called in his order: "He doesn't trust your judgment." Rookie Saints quarterback Tyler Shough is also working at the event as a counselor, and he's the first to do so after going pro. With almost 1,500 high school quarterbacks in attendance, the Mannings could use all the help they can get. As for Graves? Between all this high-maintenance bickering among quarterbacks, he joked that he needs "to start hanging out with linemen." We're guessing Erik McCoy and Cameron Jordan would be more than happy to show him around town.
