'Keep sailing on': Stanleyson Antas on music, legacy, and life in Vanuatu

Ni-Vanuatu reggae legend Stanleyson Antas joined Nesia Daily in the studio to reflect on his journey performing across Vanuatu to re-imagining his songs on a new acoustic EP, Akoustic Volume 1 (Play On).
Stripping back to just guitar and vocals, Stanley shared that creating the EP allowed him to reconnect with the heart of songwriting and "focus on the lyrics."
Throughout the show, he performed three live version of the songs Sailing, Justice, and No Worries.
Also in the program, we checked in with Nesian Footy co-host, Tinirau Arona for a recap of the weekend's NRL matches, and Sose Fuamoli for a preview of this week's On The Record episode.

Mattel Asia-Pacific managing director Paul Faulkner said the time had come for Barbie to re-enter the national consciousness. The Malibu Barbie cafe captures the aesthetic of a Barbie Dreamhouse. 9 News Credit: Supplied 'Fans responded so well to the Barbie Movie back in 2023 that we thought it was time to give them another dose of Barbie,' he told 7News. 'We're really looking forward to bringing Barbie in a new way to consumers, not just through the toy but through immersive experiences,' he said. All kinds of treats can be purchased at the cafe. 9 News Credit: Supplied 'Barbie is 65 years old, and for a brand to resonate like that for so long with so many different demographics, it's really incredible.' Mushroom Group Marketing Manager Brii Jamieson called the cafe a 'labour of love'. 'As you can see, it's come to life in the most amazing way.' Prior to establishing itself in Melbourne, the Malibu Barbie cafe has popped up in cities across the United States including New York, San Diego, Miami, Chicago, Houston and Austin.

Fallout: Spies on Norfolk Island

• English • Documentary In 1985, a peaceful Greenpeace vessel named Rainbow Warrior was docked in Auckland Harbour, preparing to protest French nuclear testing in the Pacific. Under the cover of night, two French secret service agents planted bombs beneath the hull, sinking the ship and killing photographer Fernando Pereira. What followed was one of the most audacious and shocking acts of state-sponsored terrorism on allied soil. Fallout is a gripping investigative podcast that uncovers the untold story behind the bombing: the shadowy world of espionage, the global outrage that followed, and the tangled web of lies, cover-ups, and Cold War politics. Through archival recordings, first-hand accounts, and exclusive interviews with activists, journalists, and insiders, this series retraces the steps of the agents, the decisions of the French government, and the legacy of resistance that the Rainbow Warrior left behind. Was it a rogue mission? A calculated risk? Or a symptom of a deeper geopolitical tension? Journey with us into the heart of a covert operation that changed international law, exposed deep fractures in diplomacy, and ignited a new wave of environmental activism.
