MANCHESTER UNITED are BANNED from printing the names of three legendary players' shirts for licencing reasons.
Fans have been left baffled after learning that the club's official shop are FORBIDDEN from printing the three big names on the back of replica tops.

United released the club's new home and away shirt for next season, with fans racing to get their favourite players names on the back.
Among these were huge United fan Simon Lloyd, who noticed something bizarre when he took his son to the Mega Store at Old Trafford this week.
According to the club's rules, fans can't get Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo printed on the back of their shirts.
Of course, that may come as a huge surprise given their iconic statuses.

A policy sign mounted on shop wall read: 'Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to print Cantona, Beckham, and Ronaldo.'
Man Utd confirmed the licensing rule to SunSport on Friday.
The three icons own their image rights, meaning the club cannot print their name at the Megastore.
And fans online were left baffled by the widely unknown rule.

But another raged: "I really detest the way football is going. It's all about the money and nothing else."
A fourth said: "That's an absolute disgrace."
The club also made it clear that they "only" print on the current season's shirts and fans can't ask for previous fonts used in older years.
Cantona was the face of Premier League football in the 90s, after helping United to four league titles, after joining from Leeds in 1992.
Beckham, who graduated from the club's famed youth academy, won six league titles and was part of the club's treble-winning campaign in 1999.
As for Ronaldo, he made his name at Old Trafford, winning three league titles, the Champions League and the Ballon d'Or in 2008.
Fast forward 18 years and Ruben Amorim's squad are set to begin their pre-season US tour against West Ham on Saturday, before facing Bournemouth and Everton next week.

The Hoops previously attempted to sign the Norwegian winger in the winter transfer window Sarpsborg sporting director Hampus Andersson has revealed Celtic have yet to revive their interest in winger Sondre Orjasaeter this summer. But Orjasaeter looks to have dropped down the pecking order. Asked about interest in the attacker this summer, Andersson told Sarpsborg Arbeiderblad: "It is clear that there will be great interest when he performs at the level he has. "But it has been quiet around players like Sondre who had a very hectic transfer window in the winter." Earlier this summer, Orjasaeter claimed he was now keen to progress his career outside of Norway: "Now I feel ready to take the step, while I am doing well here with full focus on Sarpsborg. "I think that if it happens, it happens. It's not like I'll be depressed if there's no transfer." Along with a winger, Rodgers has already made it clear that he wants to add more firepower to the side having lost Kuhn, Kyogo and Matt O'Riley in the last three windows. And Simon Donnelly reckons that the board must offer up two more deals before the Champions League qualifiers to fulfil the request of the boss. He told the Sunday Post: "They had a great campaign last season and they showed they belonged beside the very best. "The new format of having eight group games really suited Celtic and they had some great results. It led to the knockout game against Bayern Munich and the lads came so very close. "It was heartbreaking to lose to the Germans in the last minute but it shows you can never switch off at that level. That said, the squad will be better for that experience and can use it next month. "Callum McGregor, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kasper Schmeichel will make sure every player is focused and aware of what they need to do on the pitch. "There is also bound to be a couple of more signings between now and then. Brendan has made it clear that new recruits are required and there will be hard work behind the scenes to deliver. "The new signings will need to hit the ground running and they will be given every encouragement to do so. "It's a real positive to have Kieran Tierney back at the club. That is a fantastic signing. "He is one of the best players our country has produced in recent years and he will be vital because of his big-game experience. "One of the reasons he came back is to play regular football and also do it at the highest possible level. That's what the Champions League is. "Kieran will help drive the team on and it would be great for everyone to get that success so quickly into the campaign. "The financial rewards are huge. Murmurs have lingered throughout the summer that the new owners at Ibrox, 49ers Enterprises, could make a move for the experienced Dane. However, cash-rich English Championship side Wrexham have reportedly made their move to make the 33-year-old the latest big name added by Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. But former Red Dragon's striker Matt Jensen has told Eriksen that a move to the Scottish Premiership would be the better move - if Russell Martin 's men can navigate the Champions League qualifiers. He told OLBG: " Rangers are a huge club and they've got Champions League football. So that's probably a bigger draw. "I think it would take an awful lot of money for Wrexham to sign Eriksen. I know they have a lot of money, but do they have that much? "If he wants English football he should go to Wrexham but it depends on personal circumstances and whether he's happy to move. If he is, I would say Rangers were a stronger option. "Even with Eriksen, I've got Wrexham down to struggle next season. There is a lot of quality in the Championship and it's a massive step up. "Every league is a step up, but League One to Championship in particular is a very big step. "It's always difficult when a player is reaching those golden age years and coming towards the end of his career. "Then you have the expectation levels, because he'll be nowhere near as good as he once was in his prime. Again if Wrexham are going to struggle next season, is that going to suit the type of player that Eriksen is?" A blockbuster deal could fulfil one of the US owners early promises to the shareholders - with a "surprise" said to be on the cards. Speaking at Rangers EGM, Paraag Marathe of 49ers Enterprises - who now own the Glasgow giants alongside pharmaceutical tycoon Andrew Cavenagh - promised shareholders that there would be names emerging that would raise the eyebrows of fans. He said: "If we share who we're targeting that players becomes more expensive. It's best for you all if we surprise you with the players we bring in!"
